Oh... Yeah, I can see now. Sorry, it seems like I misunderstood what you said. I am really sorry. Anyways, I don't think Construction and Technic sets should be excluded from this topic. Like, it's only system sets in those images...

I have to disagree here. At the time, almost everyone wanted that Bionicle figure. Bionicle was a massive success upon release, and the Toa Mata (first Bionicle sets to be released) even got a Best Toy of the Year nomination. Do you think Bionicle community would still be alive today, almost 10 years since it's original cancellation, if "Who could want a Bionicle figure?" The fandom is still doing everything they can, to bring the theme they miss so much back. And too be honest, those Bionicle figures were far more interesting than any "proper" City set at the time! Christian Faber, one of the original creators of Bionicle, is currently working on another attempt to reboot the theme, which (hopefully) will pay off. And fans are a bit skeptical, that is true, but they are ready to support him with whatever they have. Bionicle is arguably one of the biggest branches of the LEGO community, and in their (and my) hearts, the theme is not dead, but only sleeping, waiting to be awakened. So, no offence, but your argument is completely false. Do more research before stating something that could easily make people mad. Other than that, great topic!

The era and the renaissance Era and the millennium are my favorites. And (controversially) the modern era is my least favorite.

I agree. Larger mechs may be less stable if they have knees, but I don't really understand why that is the case with the small ones. Kids have less enjoyment from mechs with more articulation and possibility? It's kinda hard for me to believe...
-
The reason said there doesn't really convince me...
-
I agree. I really don't see why they are doing this. What is so hard about giving a little mech knees? I really doubt that would be the case. I mean, I don't see why they would do so.
-
I too am disappointed about that... I mean,i just don't understand why they don't st least try to include knees in their new mechs...
-
Huh, didn't know that. I am glad they are back then! I really don't know...
-
Huh. It seems like he hasn't really lost his eye after all... Wait, what? They are comming back? Who said that?

[LEGACY CONTEST] Mini-Scale Katana V11
Lego David replied to Lego David's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
Thank You! -
I know, but ever since the LEGO Ninjago Movie, I feel LEGO has done some weird choices for the theme, such as the completely unnecessary character redesign and bringing back Garmadon as the main villain. Not that they are bad, but weird. Well, ever since Invisible and Toxikita showed up in Ninjago in season 6, their role was to be just cameos, so I don't blame them for that.
-
Clutch Powers in Ninjago... Finally LEGO makes a good decision for Ninjago in a long time. Can't wait to see how he will appear in the TV Show! Whether he will have a major role or he will be just a cameo, I for sure will enjoy it!

What is your favorite LEGO-related song?
Lego David replied to Lego David's topic in General LEGO Discussion
I agree with that... I am not a fan of those either. IDK, maybe LEGO should work on improving the songs in their movies, but maybe that is just me. I too prefer the soft rock ones such as the Chima ones too. -
Trough out LEGO Themes, we got plenty of songs to help promote a LEGO Theme. Cryroshel's Gravity Hurts for Bionicle 2008, The Fold's Weekend Whip for Ninjago, Carpark North's Unbreakable for Nexo Knights, or even something as simple as The LEGO Movie's Everything is Awsome, just to name a few. What is your personal favorite LEGO or LEGO-related song?
-
Exactly. Those Trolls will most likely use specialized molded heads... So no useful hair pieces for your minidigures I guess...
-
Still, the game is far less popular now than it was when LEGO got the license, so I honestly don't see any point in continuing.
-
As much as I am against licensed themes, I never said all of them should be completely removed. They do help the market to move forward... and they do sell well... but when it's to much... it's to much. Back in 2009, we only had like three licensed themes: Star Wars, Harry Potter and Indiana Jones (correct me if I am missing anything) and nobody had any problem. But nowdays what we mostly get are random licenses that nobody ever asked for. Yes, this. Seriously, if I ask a kid what LEGO theme he would like, and he replied 'Trolls' then I guess I no longer deserve to live on this planet. Sure, maybe for something like How to Train your Dragon, but not Trolls. What I (and most other people complaining here) want is not to for all licensed themes to be discontinued. No. Just the unnecessary ones, such as this upcoming Trolls one. You can keep Star Wars, DC, Marvel and maybe one or two more, but all the rest should be discontinued. No Minecraft, no Overwatch no Trolls or anything else unnecessary like those. People are demanding for more in-house themes, whether that is new or returning themes, not random licenses that nobody ever asked for.

Lego themes that we would like to happen
Lego David replied to YellowCorvette's topic in General LEGO Discussion
I the same way Pixar and Disney have managed to create their own superhero movies with The Incredibles and Big Hero 6, in the same way LEGO can create their own "masked" superheroes without feeling like rip-offs. I really don't see what wouldn't work here.- 451 replies

Ah great. I should have known that Disney won't let Star Wars go that easily. And you are right... 2 years can't even be called a break.... at least not long enough break for LEGO to go back to their in-house space. So I guess LEGO Star Wars will keep running forever no matter what....
