  1. People don't stop asking for it because they want a sci-fi in house space theme.
  2. A topic where you can share parts that you think are very useful for MOCs, but most people don't even know about. It can be any part, from any era of LEGO, as long as you find it useful.
  3. Yeah, but other Star Wars content will still be released meanwhile, such as that Mandalorian thing on Disney+.
  4. I really hope Star Wars takes a break after episode 9. I am just so tired of it. We need a new in-house Space Theme now more than ever.
  5. If that were the case, it would probably be Duplo...
  6. We sure will, but there is no guarantee that it's going to be constraction.... But I really hope it is.
  7. A new Constraction line really needs to happen.
  8. I really hope we get the ghosts in form of physical minifigures in the next wave. Having all those cool ghosts only as part of the app was kinda disappointing to me.
  9. I can't agree more. I have the exact same issue.
  10. I am pretty sure each of us has found memories of going on LEGO.com for the first time and playing all the awesome flash games, watching all the videos, seeing all the sets, and learning more about LEGO. But as of recent years, I feel like LEGO.com has started to die out. Almost all the flash games have been replaced with app games. All the videos are now uploaded on YouTube. All the sets are revealed mouths before their release, and shopping online for LEGO has slowly moved from LEGO Shop At Home to other web sites such as Amazon.com. I don't know about you, but I barely even see people even talk about LEGO.com anymore. Sure, we do get occasional Shop At Home exclusive sets, but that is about it. What do you think? Is LEGO.com slowly dying? Or is it still popular and I am not aware of it?
  11. I have no idea. No, it's just in Romanian.
  12. So yeah, besides opening more stores in China (which was a very smart move by the way), I don't think the company's recent marketing strategies have really paid off.
  13. Apparently they won with 300 million less compared to last year... and it was the smallest profit from the past 6 years. And though sales have exploded in China, they got weaker in Western Europe and US. So yeah, I am not entirely sure if they are doing incredibly well at the moment. They were listed in no particular order, so Ninjago and Marvel Super Heroes also count there.
  14. Because Ninjago has nothing to complete against. It's the only Ninja-related theme LEGO has, and it's been around for this generation's kids life. So they will buy Ninjago as much as they buy Star Wars or whatever else. With Castle, on the other hand, the last iteration of it we got in 2013 had to compete against Lord of the Rings and the Hobbit. Those two overshadowed it, and that is why Castle didn't get enough attention. No, but releasing that theme at the right time would probably be. Right now, Castle has nothing to compete against, and with the proper advertising, it might succeed. Yes, but if they want it to be their next "Big Bang" theme, I think they should take that money (which isn't an insane amount) and make the TV Show. And if that TV Show has to compete with another TV Show, once again, release it at the right time. I am glad you can agree, @pooda.
  15. I think that was because they were overshadowed by other themes at the time, and LEGO didn't give them enough advertising. Seriously, I don't remember seeing any promotional material for Pirates 2015. It was just kinda there, and nothing else. If they want those themes to sell, just give them their own TV Series, and kids will like it. After all, it worked for Ninjago, Chima and Nexo Knights, why wouldn't it work for Pirates or Castle?
  16. Then just bring those themes back with a Hidden Side-style app or a Ninjago Style TV Show, and I don't see how it won't appeal to them.
  17. We can't really know if today's kids enjoy a theme or not when that theme hasn't even been around for them.
  18. No, Racers was better, let's go with that.
  19. I would argue that they don't do as much marketing research as they really should. If so, they would look back into what was successful in the past rather than just throw random licenses (and police subthemes) that nobody really asked for.
  20. Well, one way of telling that is by looking at the number of users on this site in 2010, and the number of users now. If you compare it this way, you will defiantly see a drastic difference.
  21. Hey, that is actually quite a big possibility... but let's hope it doesn't happen.
  22. Where do you have those statistics from?
