    Wow 230 euro here in Belgium. I guess I'll have to visit the LEGO store in Lille this summer. I can get it for 30 euro less there (or in other words, I can get the Elrond set 'for free'.)

    Back from Iron Man 3. All I can say is that I'm eager to buy a IM 3 set but without spoilig anything... the sets choice are rather... well let's say interesting.

    Back from Iron Man 3. Awesome movie. Although everyone seems to hate the second one; I actually think it's a nice trilogy and each one good in it's own way. They all have their witty & dead moments. 'Tony Stark will return.'

    HOLY ... That's quite expensive but an instant buy for me. Glad I didn't buy the Hot Toys Bane. So there's no reason to buy the little summer set really. You get the dress and the leg piece in the Orthanc set. That already saves me € 15. + the € 25 - coupon will be ideal to purchase this set. My only complaint is that you only get 'half' of the tower. They should have used hinges like the Haunted Mansion set. BTW is this a hint that we are getting a Radagast Minifigure? http://www.flickr.co...01534/lightbox/ Let the countdown begin.

    That's why I think he was ideal for the Elrond's Council set. Although I'm not complaining because I have him already.

    Yeah I think the Cocoon thing and the base are part of the big ship and Lois escapes with the Cocoon/pod/whatever. I think Superman is more movie accurate when you use Zod's hairpiece. (Although I understand LEGO for using their Superman hairpiece.) Still not sure whether I should buy the cheapest set or this one... Nice review but I'm still not convinced

    I have a picture request. Can someone post a picture of Cpt. Jack Sparrow's head in combination with the Butch Cavendish headpiece. I think of making a 'regular' Johnny Depp minifig.

    If I'm not mistaken; that Green Lantern was based on the movie version. I guess he'll make an appearance like Aquaman did in a Batman set. Hopefully he'll come with Sinestro or something. But I really do think that we'll get a Green Lantern and Flash in the end.

    Your MODs make me want to get the set... I'm still going to postpone my purchase until I see the movie.

    Is that rubber hair strong enough to press down the white robe/cap?

    No sign of travelling with the Batmobile yet. Fast travel will happen with the Batwing though. Althoug I guess that it works like the taxis/cabs in GTA 4. You can drive it yourself when going to the marked location. It will also feature Black Mask putting the hit on the young Batman and the Penguin without his Coca-Cola bottle pressed into his eye socket.

    Well the designer is a renown MOCer. (He mentions it in the designer video.) And really the pictures don't do this set justice. Once you see it in real-life, you're very tempted to buy it right away.

    Heads up for Frenchies. I visited the LEGO shop today (Lille) and the Iron Man 3 sets were on the shelves. Except for the Malibu mansion. ( but I noticed the guy unpacking them in the stock room.)

    I bit the bullet while visiting a LEGO brand store for the first time. Only built the gate and van. Still shocked that I actually bought a 170 euro set :0 But it wasctotally worth it! Even got 25 euro saved up for the Orthanc Tower. :)

    Its a pdf but i recommend to download the Ldd file as well because there are 3 errors in the pdf instructions.

    Does the double VIP points promotion count in LEGO stores? I'm eager to buy the Bane vs Batman & Arkham Asylum set but in a retail store. Do I just give my VIP-card to the cashier?

    Yeah, I guess it's logical after building the Gothic style Arkham Asylum. He can use some similar building techniques.
