Are there some events, conventions, toy fairs or whatever in the near future for the new Lego merchandise that's coming out Q4 2011/ Q1 2012? I was really hoping the rumor of the tortuga set to be true.

So, is the Black Pearl the only set coming out later this year or is there a whole new wave attached to it?

I was looking for some new PotC MOCs and this version of the pearl really looks as good as the official set.

Seeing this makes me want to buy the set.

Love the new minifigs. Too bad that Pintel & Ragetti aren't in the set. Let's just hope we will see them in the new ones. BTW, Is the Black Pearl released worldwide in November or is this just a USA-date?

Great, I just started collecting myself again. I had an old Islanders's Set (Enchanted Island 6278). Since the launch of the PotC sets I felt the urge to pick them up. Can't wait to complete my collection. Still 4 sets to go! ( Whitecap Bay, Captain's Cabin, The London Escape & The Fountain of Youth).

Hey guys I'm new to the forum. I bought myself some new lego sets since the early nineties. I was at a rather old toyshop today and they sold the BrickBeard's Bounty for 80 EUR (approx. $ 113). It was the last one. I was wondering if I should buy the set or not. Is the set rare these days? The box seemed in mint condition so... It looks neat but I was only intended to buy the licensed PotC sets.
