Maybe that's the reason they released a Red transparant Lego Minifigure head in the Lord of the Ring sets. They can use it again on The Torch. Man, I still have to get the Hulk-set. Is that set retiring soon btw (along with the Xmen set)? It's just too expensive... I actually only need him and Thor. Hopefully The Hulk will be released in this winter wave so I can skip the Avengers' set. -

Well I noticed that the reviews from newspapers/magazines/famous youtube channels/websites are pretty negative towards the movie but looking at the reviews from the 'normal' film fan it seems alright. And the bad points of the critics are always the same. Tonto isn't played by an authentic Native American, too long (which is a stupid reason), too many storylines that don't seem to come together, bland humour and action. But I actually think I'm going to enjoy the movie and I will definitely buy the coach & train no matter what I think of the film after watching it. The sets are great even if they are part of licensed theme. The reviews of PotC 2 & 3 were also negative and I still enjoyed those two movies. Too bad that critics influence a lot of people's opinions. I still believe in The Lone Ranger

I don't care what all the reviewers say. It looks like a fun relaxing western. Good cast, fun plot, great setting, respectable director and producer and a legendary composer. I 'll just drop my expectations but still it can't be that bad. Still 30 days until it's released here.

Just watched Man of Steel. It was good but not 'Super'. Too much cgi for my taste but I'm glad I saw it theatres and also ended the way I wanted it too. Hopefully I didnt miss out after credit scenes... I will surely buy the kiddle sized set.

Dare I say it. I did in very slow pace, making sure all the bricks aligned and faced with the LEGO-logo on the same side. I built the Ent and Tower in 6h30min while listening to all the soundtrack from both the LOTR trilogy & the Hobbit.

I'm just glad they didnt turn Batman into a yellow fleshed character and vice versa :)

Welcome Phantomscream Aren't the sets already available at several online shops? This wave (although being tied to a movie) is really tempting to get indeed. Saw them all build in a nice little diorama in the LEGO store. Even my dad wanted to buy the train & coach but we eventually didn't because Amazon uses cheaper prices. I will get them when they drop in price.

AA and Orthanc are both good for their respective fans. Too bad I'm fan of both and got both. The only thing I was trying to say was that Orthanc does look more of an exclusive while AA still is nice but not 179 euro nice. Maybe it's because the tower is like 3x AA in size. Hope they finish the Lotr wave with Baraddur. Or is Barad dur even bigger than Orthanc? I actually dont have a clue.

I"ve just finished the build. Best LotR set and if you are still doubting between the Orthanc Tower or Arkham Asylum, go for the Orthanc Tower.

Just saw all the sets built in the Lego store and all of them look great! Only bought Orthanc for now. I will wait for the other setstill the price drops a little althoug I'm eager to buy the Rivendell set. Only built the Ent for now and it looks way better than in the pictures but I don't like all the grey colour pieces on him.

I think they won't use the design from the first Spider-Man movie. I don't think that LEGO has the rights of that movie any more. I would rather have one based on the cartoon/comic version:

I think it's easy, if you are more into the Star Wars universe: get the EV-set. And if Saruman is your favourite: get him in the cheap set. As for the Ent, Treebeard will surely make his entrance eventually. I always hoped for a similar set in the PotC-line but that theme wasn't popular enough. I hope for a Flying Dutchman when the next movie hits theatres in summer 2015.
