  1. Still too high for only 2882 pieces... Maybe we get light?
  2. I'd really wish these tires would be used more. The Raptor would have been way better with these. Hopefully we'll see them in 2023 :D
  3. Very nice combine! Would be my exaclty my first question :D Seaching for similar red combines harvesters (e.g. Case 9010), I would have guessed the combination would fit, but the looks should be ok with your taste :-) Another thing: The gears for the functions seemed to be place very oddly, but due to the limited space, I guess? Otherwise, great functionality in such small space!
  4. Ah, you are right. As @Brick-a-brac said: We are still in speculation if the mentioned piece count and price fits. We'll sure get more info soon.
  5. You are right. The part is listed as Technic Gear Rack 6 x 6 Curved. Given the overlap on the axle holes, the outer diameter is 11 studs.
  6. Overall, I am kind of baffled. What other functions should Lego implement, not been present at the 42053? Only thing would be a automatic pneumatic system with a dumb battery box. Otherwise, the price is way to high. I mean just compare both sets: 42053: 1166 pieces 90€ (with inflation about 100€) 42144: 835 pieces 140€ Arguable, the pneumatic doesn't seem to inflate the price very much, at least the 42128 with over 2000 parts for only 170€ is an example. Another thing: I'd really hoped for the use of the turret ring made out of the new racks instead of the big turntable, but given the lower piece count in contrast to the 42053, I'll doubt it.
  7. What a cool model! There are so many nice touches, from the red engine bay to the full suspension. Especially the grabber mechanism works great. I really admire that it seem to work without the typical"I need it in the exactly right position" ;-)
  8. Just longer ones. Normal braided string for the 42082 is 3 m long, I think this thing will need at least 12 m, given the multiple revs. I already see the frustration of sariel and complaining about this fiddly task :D
  9. Dito. Given the dimensions of 1.5 m, Lego would make the right choice to bring up new, big girder pieces (15 studs long, 7x7 studs base). Otherwise, it would be a very repetitive building experience (with normal liftarms) or very unstable construction (with the mentioned pieces available).
  10. Interesting idea actually! As much as I'd like that, I think there is really no need in such a set. The track movement will be motorized but will be so slow that there is no need for a haptic control, same goes for the boom and hook.
  11. Or maybe even eight of the new 49.5 x 14? This would look seriosly cool :-) I really like this scale and new pneumatic elements are always welcomed. Best set of the summer wave for me.
  12. No way this thing will be done with so "few" pieces for this price tag, unless there are some very huge girder pieces instead of liftarm-built solution.
  13. True, same goes for 42100 bucket and 42130s windscreen. There is this discrepancy: We want new pieces to build unique features never been implemented before but still no specialiced, one-usage-only pieces. I think TLC is on the verge of overdoing this, also in many other themes aside from technic. I'd rather see the use of already existing pieces in new models. Best recent example would be the medium tracor tires and dumb battery box. Please use em, TLC!
  14. If it's a loader I think they'll go with the Claas Torion with 107 tractor tires. Still bigger than 42030 (1636 pieces) @efferman Don't you think there is enough space for a gearbox underneath the cabin? But I agree with you: To toave a switch between operating and driving mode would hinder playability. Also for a loader it's ok if it's not that quick. Normally they go 30 km/h in contrast to the articulated haulers with around 60 km/h. The 42114 with just tipping the bed therefor would have been way to boring, so they included another function.
  15. Really nice B-Model, maybe we are looking at a possible official model for an upcoming year :-)
  16. Dito. I mean, there is a dumb battery box available waiting to be used. :D
  17. Oh man this is soo good. I really never thought about buying this set. But with so many great B/C-Models, it's now tempting. The crosscountry quality is fantastic considering the possibities of the motors. Bravo!
  18. This B-Model looks way cooler than the original set, great work, nico! :-)
  19. How about one of the upcoming LMDh cars? There are many announced competitors for the 2023 season
  20. @mpj how many parts did you use on your incredible telehandler moc? :-) Still, it's in the same range... :D
  21. Hmm a normal telehandler in that scale has already been done with the 8295: A non-tele handler would be something new I think. Maybe finally with the Batman 68.7 tires?
  22. Sad... 42146, the truck would be something to look forward to... As I remebered, the first unofficial leaked list for 1H22 was also my favorite with a backhoe and a tractor. So again, no tractor...
  23. As we just got the 42114 I think we can rule out a Mining Dump Truck for the next 2 years... The reach stacker or big telehandler would be very cool... same goes for a real heavy forklift. If the rumored 42144 lifting helicopter is true, maybe we get the dumb battery box, as this would match the 42113 piece count and price point. Maybe some completely bizarre ones like a slag transport :D
