  1. Apologies, I've been at school tree...learning... for hours now. But I'm not an overly large fan of this attention-grabbing move you pulled. - rather than defend yourself against suspicions against you with good argument, you attempt to shift the attention to me and my silence. As for the whole "garden variety" thing, maybe it seemed like an accident to you, but it seemed too much like fishing to me, and I can see I'm not alone in this thought. Not to mention the fluff and contradictory defense. Vote: Berty (Dragonfire)
  2. Is it possible for 6 Maps and a third party tree? That'd but it at 7 non-Oaks, which is possible, but not really normal. But then again, we are all making tree puns, so I'd say that this whole game isn't normal. Or maybe there are only "tree" Maples! Haha. Ah...I'm running out of puns.
  3. Could we just grow our seeds out into the world and amass a giant Oak army? An army of saplings versus a few Maples, could take a while to get to that point, but it'd be worth it in the end.
  4. Agnes Cyprus here, laddies! I've really been wanting to branch out, and this seems like a mighty fine opportunity.
  5. Ah, a new Mafia game! 1. 5, total, just looked it up - Party Lines, Heartlake, Gotham, Jedi Temple, and Bedtime Story. 2. Indeed I have read the rules. All 12. All 12 rules. 3. Yep! Here comes the fun!
  6. Whoa, interesting stuff. I kind of like the little guy, regardless of what everyone else says. Great reviewing, as always, WhiteFang!
  7. Oh, wow, truly impressive. I'd love to see a scale of the finished product next to the Bilbo fig.
  8. Interesting thought, and one that I can see as working well. If there was some way (as I'm sure there is) to add dark bley inner walls behind the watchtower walls, it would make a nice foundation for the bricks. Also, would there be any way to make those walls even curvier? I'm not huge on Technic know-how, but it seems plausible enough.
  9. Whoa, nice. I see a lot of impressive models, but those with features that resemble Lego sets always have a special spot with me.
  10. Very nice, and clever idea as well!
  11. Nice MOC there! The shattered glass effect is quite a nice one.
  12. Really nice; that shot with the rest of the TIEs is impressive - it fits right in.
  13. I was thinking that maybe two of this piece placed horizontally mirrored could make a fantastic windscreen. Of course, if the length would fit the length of the Landspeeder. Regardless, great job on this, Psyence!
  14. Very nice review, mostlytechinc! Once I saw this set I was interested in it for the colours and pieces...thanks for this review to shed more light onto it!
  15. Man, I'd love to see a UCS, really detailed Milano. It could fit all 5 Guardians in the cockpit easily, and maybe even include a tiny plant Groot as a bonus.
  16. Hey remember when I wasn't a pirate?

  17. Quite good adjustments to this - the hood was always my main beef with the original, nice to see a fix.
  18. I can say with pretty much 100% certainty that there would be some sort of fanservice in it. But even so, I can't really see any Lego sets involving Hogwarts coming back, unless an anniversary set, maybe?
  19. I've always wished that Lego hadn't taken a pause for Harry Potter during the release of the HBP, and even OOTP, only releasing one set. I would have loved to see a set centered on the Ministry battle, with Luna and Lucius and Bellatrix, or even a Grimmauld Place set. And while we did get a HBP set, I wish we could have gotten more, as well as more iconic scenes.
  20. Fantastic and really creative entries, all! 3. Ranger_elegost - 1 27. Bayou - 2 26. Cara - 1 23. CM4Sci - 1
  21. Aha, that conclusion got a chuckle out of me. Thanks for letting me play! I had fun!
  22. (I'm just going to go ahead and apologize profusely for the terrible quality of pictures. Once I find my big ol' camera things won't be so bad, and I can stop using my phone.) Jack Frost! Everyone knows him as the guy with the ice. The ice guy. But who knew that he's also a talented blacksmith, eh? He works for Santa to forge some quite magnificient golden pieces, using only the finest gold material infused with magical ice powers to create a hardened gold end result, be it a breastplate, a small statue, or a weapon. Since Santa quit giving gifts of gold to kids, as, obviously, the kid could sell it for thousands, Jack opened up a Shoppe, where all of his golden craft can be bought for pretty high prices, actually. Jack isn't a business man. He's a blacksmith. Look at it. A shoppe and forge. Also a truck and a furnace for melting down the imported gold. And if you really, really want to, there's one more picture of the truck on my Flickr. Happy Holidays and Happy New Year!
  23. Congrats winners! Outstanding builds, I must say.
