Review: 10228 Haunted House
JackJonespaw replied to mostlytechnic's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
Nice review, mostlytechnic! This is an amazing set, and I wish I had the money to buy this, because it would be the obvious choice! -
Emma's ancestor was one of the greatest fortune tellers even known. A cross-theme of Friends and Medieval/Fantasy. Without the fig/doll: The fig/doll: Bon appetit!
-
Very nice! Ingenious way of including a switch on it! Great job, and I can't wait to see you put out some more!

Some good points. However, Lego would only need 2 molds, as they could just reuse the regular waist.

'Stolen' LDD MOCs in the LEGO.com Star Wars Creations Page
JackJonespaw replied to XimenaPaulina's topic in LEGO Star Wars
It is an honor, as long as you get some credit. But, really, Lego creations is just a laugh for me. Most of the "comments" are: "Cool!" or "Awesome!" and that's it. And when I was looking around for some info about the LOTR Building Challenge I came across this Lego Messageboard. About half of the people were like: "I'm building _______, I'm going to win!" and the other half are: "Yea, that'll win for sure!" All in incorrect grammar, of course. I would how long they would last on Eurobricks? -
Astromech Workplace Contest: Winners Annnouncement!
JackJonespaw replied to Erdbeereis's topic in Watto's Junkyard
Congradulations, winners! And thanks to the mods for making this awesome contest! -
Nice pictures! I love everything about this set, although I wish there was a bit more added to Gringotts.
-
Nice review, Oky! I really like the design and colors of this set - it strangely fits that version of Doc Ock well. I just wish we'd gotten the leg and arm printed Spider-Man.
-
Nice review! I've always envied those who got this set - it was before I was interested in any Lego products non Star Wars related. I love this in-depth review of a great set!
-
Nice mech suits! I love how they're different enough to not be just a bigger version, but still recognizable. Great job!
-
Wow, that's an amazing render! It looks great! I really wish I could get the hang of the LLD to Pov-Ray program, but it's just really complicated.

'Stolen' LDD MOCs in the LEGO.com Star Wars Creations Page

Huh, well someone needs to learn the meaning of plagiarism. Unfortunately, once you post a picture on the internet, it's fair game unless you have a watermark. Sorry for Kiel's and BD's stolen LDD creations. Maybe you should only give the files out to people who pm you or something. Oh yes, and I would also like to VOTE: -MasterBuilder- -
Post your general LEGO Star Wars questions here
JackJonespaw replied to XimenaPaulina's topic in LEGO Star Wars
They aren't in any sets to my knowledge, and I haven't heard an rumors regarding them. They do look like you could easily make your own, using the tan orc from the LOTR line. -
Wow, these are really nice! I like your use of printed tiles - and the flying astromech is amazing! Great job!

Sometimes. For most of mine, no, but a few of the older ones that I don't use as often move their hair/headpiece with their head. There's nothing wrong with it.

Setting up to make something new..
JackJonespaw replied to wolfwing's topic in General LEGO Discussion
I just start building with a rough idea in my mind is it's non-Liscensed. If it is, I look up videos and pictures from what ever scene I build, so I can get a full view of what I'm building. Just experimenting around really helps me. -
Very nice! I love the slight spiral staricase - it's just as nice as the road! Bag's End looks fantastic, although the interior is a bit bare. But, aside from that, it looks fantastic! Great job!

Darth Vader/TIE Advanced Transformer (Micro-Mood Scale)
JackJonespaw replied to M<0><0<DSWIM's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Very nice, MOOD! I love this newest model - it's so small, but it still manages to transform! I really am excited to see more! -
Well, I finished my month long sorting project yesterday! All minifigs, small pieces, and small quantities of colors into small drawers, and the larger colors into buckets. I also set the 2x ... pieces into a drawer, and the one sides wedges into one drawer. Finally, the large plates are in a bucket, as are the tires and wheels. I would have like to have sorted further, so that I didn't have so much in one bucket, but oh well.
-
Okay. Now it's time to start saving up 25,000 as fast as possible. That is one epic collection. If I had a sixth of that, I would be happy. I wonder if someone's going to buy that?
-
Well, I have my minifigs sorted into drawers by legs, torsos, arms, hands, heads, hair, hats. I also have labels for each drawer like 1, 2, 3, etc. For each drawer, I have a list with pictures of every piece in that drawer. That may not help you much, but it helps me quickly locate the piece I want. If you don't want to go to all that trouble, I would just sort them by subtheme, like robuko said.

Whoa, this is amazing. The little details in MOCs are something I really like to see - and this one's full of them! The shaping on the roof is really great, as is the Batboat.
-
Clever MOC, the box colors are nice, and the brick buddies are really well built! I really like the Loki brick buddy!
-
This looks really good! I'm not familiar with the game, but I really like the design and the way you've made it into Legos. Great job!

JackJonespaw replied to Bob De Quatre's topic in LEGO Star Wars
This is a great looking MOC! I really like the shaping of this - nice use of slopes!
