  1. Thanks a thousand times! This I could Never have estimated from seeing one wing only. My idea of building a new Dragon with parts from old fantasy dragons has just died I think. The Body of the dilophosaurus could work, but it has this strangely shaped neck.
  2. My insurance one told me that if you cut off the roof of your house and turn the house around, everything that would fall out is covered by insurance.
  3. There is a guy on Flickr with Wood Lego These are over 60 years old.
  4. I dont know any shops, but maybe https://ebay-kleinanzeigen.de could help. It is different from regular eBay. No auctions, no fees, only local sales from private people. You can enter a City and a radius and then you can search, for example all Lego in 200km around Berlin. It was originally made for selling stuff at home, but most people will ship by mail of you ask them and you pay the Shipping. I think many countries have their own versions like the German one. For example, I just used this to buy rare chima figs for 2 Euro a piece. I almost felt bad because they were so cheap, but then it felt pretty good.
  5. If any of the upcoming reviews could compare the new smaller wing mould to the older bigger one, I would ne grateful.
  6. Great helmet add-on! How did you do it?
  7. Great helmet add-on! How did you do it?
  8. A great little faction. I especially love the cart, the leader and the lady. Also the backpacks and the banner and the slingshots. Let us hope the enemy does not have shields. Or long legs. Or mounts of some sort.
  9. Strangely enough, I cannot remember any fantasy realm where a chaotic neutral jester defeats evil. Any examples? Rumplestiltskin in Once upon a time maybe. In a related matter... I think it is time to see some orc.
  10. I think the arms cannot move more than normal ones. They just simulate overmoulding.
  11. I tried, but it puts quite a distance between the wings and the body, which looks a bit detached. Also I was unable to get 7 of these, as I would need for the whole regiment. Thanks! I was not aware of this shield. It has this rocky appeal which might fit gargoyles well. Thank you. It is a mixture of two Revell paints (a brand for model aiplanes etc.), described here: http://www.eurobrick...showtopic=64353 Very easy to make.
  12. Ken sent me.
  13. Thank you. Yes, it is. It can carry the wings, so I did not need to make clips like for the previous gargoyle.
  14. Gargoyle Leader Even grumpier than your usual gargoyle, their leader knows neither fear nor pain. His vocabulary includes only few words... and mercy is not one of them. Leader front by MWardancer, auf Flickr Leader side by MWardancer, auf Flickr
  15. Oh a smaller wing mould? That is sad. I was wondering about that, but thought it was the old mould. How about the green one, do you guys think this is also the small new wing? I wanted to attach these to an old armored dark green dragon and paint the rest of the body light green. I have nothing against the white dragon's wings, I would only prefer solid ones in a classic castle setting. Oh well, new plans then. There are some yellow and silver wings from old Fantasy castle sets, maybe these will work.
  16. Ha! The pink dragon has white wings underneath his pink wings. These can ne used to give the white dragon decent solid wings.
  17. I salute you for this beautiful sentence!
  18. Looks very authentisch! The little shield is a good choice for the knight.
  19. ... which offer nice printed shields that are way more compatible with classic Castle themes than the weird NEXO shields.
  20. These are strange tales this thread tells. Pre-felt bags, limited numbers for each customer, boxes with other feeling customers. I just taught another employee the feeling method. She looked at me with unbelieving eyes. I asked her if she wanted me to stop, but she said it was ok. It took me almost an hour to find 4 more grim knights, because they were the very last in the box. I always worry about being mistaken for a shoplifter.
  21. A good idea and well executed!
  22. Lego and Nexo have the same vowels, number of letters and sequence of vowels and consonants. Why did I need months to notice that??? But it also took me 20 years to realize that Wookie and Ewok are the same syllables.
  23. Do we already know the price of the white dragon set?
  24. I had the same situation with The Lonely Mountain set. The dragon I kept. The figs I sold quickly, there are alwAys people interested. The building no one bought, because of what Lyichir mentioned. However, the Elves buildings are very Special in their parts assortment, if you go low with the price chances are good to sell it. But in the end you might only save 10 Euro in comparison to just buying the white Dragon only on Bricklink or Ebay... If you are really patient wait for the set to go on sale.
  25. I recommend painting. I have done it many times. There are some threads here about different types of paint.
