  1. Hmm if I were you I would take heads, put them in round 1x1 bricks, customize a torso so it supports two heads at an angle and drill two more holes in the torso to support two more arms. The official Lego solution for four arms won't work because it uses two Torsos and this will be too tall. Or Even better, attach heads to the piece ChristopherLee mentioned.
  2. Hmm very difficult. There is an armor to make two headed figs: http://www.brickwarriors.com/ogre-armor/ How does its body Look like?
  3. I also recommend the Citadel Warhammer ones. their Range of colors is huge. Maybe you need thinner and basecoat though. Thinner because they are often too thick. Revell is much cheaper and it also works.
  4. At least it might bring a few more CMF elf Torsos on the market.
  5. I am struggling with finding a shield for the rogues. So far the round LOTR one with the green/golden front and the red back seems ok, but not perfect. What do you guys use?
  6. Thanks AmperZand! The next harpy will use the backside of the head, which has a more lovely face. Harpy backside to show technique by MWardancer, auf Flickr
  7. Your package arrived today. I am very happy with it. The shields and helmets are beautiful!! The Elven shield is a little longer and a tiny bit slimmer than the original Lego big shield. I like that.
  8. Thanks for your comments! I think they do not make the skeleton arms any more. Maybe other arms hace the same hands, I did not check all kinds. The hands I discovered more or less by coincidence. I can post a picture of the back later. I have already ordered parts for making more harpies as I want a regiment of them. I want to try different hairpieces.
  9. I am very interested in seeing the outcome here. Please post pictures.
  10. The Harpy's Embrace Harpies do not appreciate archers, for they can send stinging sticks into the air, the harpies dominion. Archers, on the other hand, have no love for harpies, simply because - despite a somewhat female appearance - honestly speaking they are flying monsters with claws and teeth. 11. They are definitely out in Germany now. Found them in Karstadt Gießen als well. The rogue looks much better with an additional cape.
  12. Saw them at a Rewe in Germany today. But there is no way I am telling you which one.
  13. Yes, for some reason the customization forum is full of non-customization (=purist) threads. It might help if you post a picture of what you are trying to make.
  14. These are for sale on Bricklink (I have ordered some), but it is forbidden to advertise on Eurobricks. You need to write a Personal message to ask for the link for Nicebricks on Bricklink or find it by searching bricklink.
  15. Games Workshop Citadel paints also work. Their color palette is huge. Revell is good for most jobs and i use it mainly. Citadel is more expensive, but they have every shade of every color you can imagine. There are a few threads on paints, here is one: http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=20557&st=25
  16. I think it would save a lot of work to paint over the silver instead of removing it. If you can find a matching paint. It would improve the outcome if you fill up the little holes on the armor. It might even make sense to buy a non-armored dragon head and paint that one. Or spraypaint. The wings I believe are not printed, but molded from two colors of plastic.
  17. Sometimes when I customize Lego with an an electric dremel, parts of the plastic get so hot that they evaporate and I accidetally inhale the fumes. I tend to think this is a sign of dedication to Lego and very manly.
  18. Thank you! What you wrote pretty much disqualifies BanBao baseplates. I shall stick with the original ones!
  19. Thanks! They are made by "Jeddy and Daddy" on Bricklink.
  20. Funk=radio Mast=pole Kraftwagen= power wagon = car Good build!
  21. I need a lot of baseplates. Since original TLG ones are not really cheap I have stumbled upon BanBao ones. They have a big green one, which TLG does not. So apart from the ethical implications... , can someone tell me if these are any good?
  22. Thank you! I usually use Revell oder Citatel paints. I like painting the Thranduil ones, because it covers up the lines that TLG did not manage to produce accurately.
  23. Thank you! Yes, they are yours. With your new shields I am going to make one infantry and one cavallery regiment. With your helmet I will equip a Dragon rider.
  24. Thank you!! Actually you were one of my first inspirations to do this when the first CMF elf came out and you did the decals for factions. Thanks!! I like my coffee the way I like my magic. Just black.
  25. May I invite the ladies and gentlemen to have a look at my custom Elven army? I am sure you will find it quite unique as I have cut, glued, painted and collected the best I can during the last 3 years. For example it includes units like this one: Silver Lords (2) by MWardancer, auf Flickr And a choice of war machines: War Machines by MWardancer, auf Flickr And magical creatures: Dryad Fiérce by MWardancer, auf Flickr I cannot post all 69 pictures here, but you can find pictures of all these customized figs on my flickr: Elfendaemmerung - Wardancer's Custom Elf Army by MWardancer, auf Flickr You can also see everything in this thread: http://www.eurobrick...howtopic=138613
