@Thirdwigg good question if its a MOC or Mod... I just did a mini 8081 in the same scale as the Lego 42075 First responder and using the same 8081 chassis and made a smaller body by referring to the original 8081 and I've modded the heck out of Lego 42075 .. I would think my body design of the SUV is my MOC and the chassis is just the mod.. The arrows on my picture points to ... A. Pug headlamp B. B-pillar C. C-pillar D- Liftarms fenders .. I believe these features are needed to make any 8081 at any scale.... I would like to hear your feedback!!??

I few more ideas to share.. I have two versions of the chassis with full Ackerman steering and Ackerman compliant chassis .. A motorized and a non -motorized .. both chassis haves the same functions like AWD, a new swing arm suspension design (rear on motorized) on a unibody hybrid chassis with a floor in the cabin (no holes), doors-hoods-tailgate open and close (rear window open on truck version), the chassis can seat up to 5 people , luggage racks on top and a fake mini-V-8 !! the motorized will use 2 x large PF motors and a receiver/battery pack.. the non-motorized is all new unibody chassis with a two speed transmission (wip) and a new design with the swing arm suspension connected to frame that allows a limited twist to the diffs.. please see picture. what style of body should I use..?? The pickup style, The suv?? or the fastback?? and the Ackerman complaint chassis with a new swingarm suspension design !!

well the Lego set 8081 haves a very strong rear axle!! its on a swing arm!! or even the 40th anniversary model haves a simple independent rear suspension.. if youre basing off from Paave's .. look into the 8081 set!! -

I tend to design my own electrical hookups to batteries that is experimental and easy to learn and 2 x or more the performance of the buzzless ?? The secret for performance is the ability to design a frictionless drivetrain and be reliable at top speed .. Torque on plastics is bad .. In high speed , heat and friction can be controlled to a degree .. ..There is a user on this board and I forget his name.. his frictionless design and a popular Grey hound MOC that the user designed!! If you ever have a chance when your finished with your current cab over.. roll the MOC on the ground and see if you roll the MOC fast enough and you let it go and see..if your MOC goes the farther distance , the lesser the friction .. Your attention to detail on how your recent cab over suspension worked floored me..That must been a lot of work to noticed that .. Back on your suspension design.. have you try to pull a heavy load by any chance? -
Ok, here are some more updates!!!! Im almost done!! Check these pictures out.. even my cactus likes my mod!!!!

if you looked in front of your model, I guess you don't have a front differential?? your distance of the from axle to the ground.. it looked low but it is hard to tell without a front picture -
I love the Lego 8081 !!!!!!!! Can we use the 56mm tires or does it have to be 68.7mm ??? This is so fun!!!!!

It look like your clearance from the floor to the center of the front diff, is a bit low?????? looks like around 1l in height?? i guess it depends if you're not needing 6x6 or not?? its a RC thing I guess.... -

updates 9-1-19 I got the rudders installed and its is in sync with the bottom engine 2 !!! just need some more white color parts!!! and you know your in a good mood when you get creative!!! its hard to build when you have the blues!!! I just started on a different cockpit!!! It will be based from the America F-16 fighters and the pilot seat is angle to the point where the pilot is almost laying on his or her back and haves a full view of the air/space to give the pilot max view of the battlefield .!!!

Just for laughs, I will make up a story.... Don't Zero pictures looks like someone sprinkle sugar over them?? I do see fine graduals .. lol ( please don't take it personal) Next is a damage done to a CV joint by an old XL motor at some 25 degrees when stalled: Finally I checked my Wildcat which uses the new hubs. The hubs at the rear axle are at some 20 degree angle, here's what happened to the rear wheel drive ones. Mind you, they are powered directly by an RC motor without any additional gearing: Finally I checked the front CV joints, which when steered use the maximum angle the joint allows:

When Nasa landed the first man on the moon (Rockwell built) ... some said this is impossible .. Lego the biggest and important toy company in the world.. I believe the trials and errors of the program has finished and the capital (money) Lego invested had successfully executed on track and Like Nasa to put the first man on the moon.. In sugarcane chemistry, I believe Lego is in the phase like the Apollo 8 level before the event!! and not to forget to vote on Eurobricks.com TC 16 contest

@TeamThrifty This thread is about CV joints that can be damage easily and is that the facts, not about any conspiracy and do you know you what is the definition of the word conspiracy?? please look it up..its about any being harmful or unlawful.. please keep the drama to yourself.. TLG had invested into sugarcane products since 2012 (fact) and since 2018 , and Lego determination into using plant based would benefit our planet earth from pollutions ..(fact ) how the heck is that a conspiracy and maybe shows you don't even know the proper use of the word.. im not going to teach english on this thread .. what i have shared is only to help the topic and to find reason why would TLG push out this product when even their own users have demanded and stress on having a better product.. that is the fact.... someone else mention that if you can return the item for a replacement and that I would like to see if that happens.. jezzz some people.. To be accused of braking the law is an insult to me or to anyone else !!

@Amdman.. good question and thank you for asking... Its a home grown (in the garage) studies and with the supplied elements in my inventory .. just a hand full to test with and what I have discovered that the sugar based is more prone to damage .. the 10 year old element still have the scars but the sugar based seem to at the same level of damage even though its only a year old.. but the whole point is im sharing information to MOC RC racing that you would pay other wise.. its a free service and it takes time to deal with.. Im a Engineer in trade and im a work most of the time.. ain't this site all about sharing information?? @Andman if you click on the pictures , it would take you to flickr and you can see most of my work in weights and MOC!!
