  1. all right, that wasn't to hard.. Modding the Lego set 42078 has started on a good start.. I've done a 2 length raise of the body and its 6x6 wheel drive with rear pendular suspension and Mcpherson style front suspension.. The shock asorber is mounted above the steering pivot point and next I need to do is the motor setup.. 2 Xl or 2 L motors.. ??? ill figure it out soon.. here are a few pics ..
  2. thanks you and yes updates are important to our EurobrX stock holders and today is a video on EurobrX multi terrian landing system (tm) this video shows the landing gears operations and the all terrian tires for the up coming shuttle.
  3. Habitation Module can be used as an add on to extend low orbit parking up to 1 month which houses food, rest and hygine needs . It is solar power so no need of fuel is required to power the module and the Habitation Module can double as portable housing on the surface of Mars and can be use to extend land survey operations for the colonization of the Planet Mars
  4. Great job, I like the idea of using tires as the pad of the feet .. 11
  5. Well , I've just started a new version of a Space Shuttle for EuroBrx Mars Mission..It WIP staus and still need to work on a few things , Like the real shuttle it has a cargo bay doors that opens in space and can retrieve or release satellites from the cargo bay with a crane like device. It can also store cargo bins or passangers modules in the cargo bay and it seat 3 brave mini figures astronauts in its detaled cockpit , I might include a land/mars buggy that can fit inside and roll it out from the shuttle rear ramp. it will be Legoi Powered up controlled This version of the shuttle is only for the Mars planet and not compatible to Earth's enviroment. In Mars enviroment , the shuttle can take off and park in low orbit and dock with the command orbit platform and load or unload cargo or passangers from orbit and bring the cargo to the surface of the planet all under its own power with out the use of big and expensive rocket boosters, since Mars has a lighter gravity and less resistance on the surface of Mars , the shuttle can take off under its on power and reach the low orbit of Mars and re-entry back to the surface and land with enough fuel to taxi.. Its a WIP and more updates to come so now I will now present Eurobrx Space Shuttle (coming soon)
  6. my technic bunnies... Ok, back to reality.. Recently, I've noticed a lot of mods and moc based off the Lego set 42078 Mack truck and it seams to be a popular model. I'm really suprised I havn't got the set yet.. its a bit pricey and maybe I can build this set from my spare parts... Well, i've started and the results are very good.. I've only built the chassis and admire this set build.. It has a lot going for it but it lacks a few functions that really needed to be address.. First of all there is no suspension.. and second all the PF/RC mods seems a bit weak.. I want my Lego set 42078 to be the Road King!! well here the start.. first the chassis I really like the fake engine and the steering setup is cool. The steering looks like a geared version the Lego set 42068. the 42068 and the 42078 chassis are almost the same size and even the steering links are almost similar , I guess they are in the same scale range?? So more to come with my Lego 42078 mod...
  7. @Srdjan5033 I would like to request a video to see it performance and handling .. or is it a shelf model?
  8. Dang!!!! you said Iron Vulture.. that was very good.. lol... Recently I found another angry technic video from youtube and it is by a user named Technic Whipped cream??!! I thought it was cute and I going to share it anyway since its sharable..
  9. I've used a simple independent rear suspension on my MOC with very good results.. Its based from the rear suspension from the 40th anniversary (2017) chassis model.. you should try it out ,,, this video is an example of the rear independent suspension in action
  10. Here is a good picture of the connection to the hub from the Lego app controlled batmobile . The entire hub, cable and motor has the same feel since Lego tends to have a soft feel to them. However, the plug does feel tight and secured with no wiggle or play and you hear a quick snap to let you know you're plugged in. The plug (male end) has a different plastic feel and feels cheap.. Can't wait for more motors for this hub if its possible !!
  11. Well, I just got my self the Lego set 42088 for $7 USD and how small this set was... Lol, I wonder if I can do a proper RC mod on it!! and compared to my MOC Space Shuttle I think the shuttle can carry the crane!! Also I started on a new MOC The Space Shuttle (tm) !!! The is a big set and it will be PF or Power UP powered and it can be carried by the Lego set 42025 cargo plane as a mother ship!!! more to come soon !!
  12. impressive build!!! I wish it can go faster!!!
  13. This is a good subject that really needed to be address. My understanding of the definition of the abbervation letters of MOC, is called my own "creation" is The difference between something being created and something being made is that when something is created, it is brought into existence out of nothing. But, when something is made it has been formed out of something else that already exists and for I to named individuals to give them "a title or credit"of any mechanical devices has to be ;looked deeply and to be sure who is the original inventor before any one else and even if its made into different materials.. there is a true inventor in most cases and not often I find an original design and build but that;s normal.. it took a group of pepole in a given time frame to invent a car or a tv set and now it comes to artwork... is it the artwork you admire or the invention??
  14. Been a fan of yours on the youtube for a while..it's about time you haved joined eruobrick!!
  15. and I also want to add that I'm a avid shopper at Lego.shop for my technic needs and recemtly it took me 15 min. just to find the XL Lego motor by using the search options.. which I didn't have to do before.. at least the Powered Up products are listed under the Power Functions menu and that adds a bit more confusion
  16. @Johnny1360 My MOC is angry because Lego will end their sales of PF equipment by next year with Lego Powered Up soon to take over. according to Sariel calculator my output is The total final gear ratio is 1:1.191The speed is increased 1.191 times. The torque is decreased 1.191 times. The follower gear rotates 1.191 time per each revolution of the driver gear. Their is over 800 pieces on my MOC with 2 x XL for the drive train. Its on the edge on weight to power ratio for using 1 Xl motor and with the extra motor gives it is neck breaking speed.. Have you seen Nico's TTools?? its like Sarie's calculator but it does more .. check it out .. http://www.nico71.fr/otherpages/ttools.html
  17. Angry Lego Technic Lego Technic set 8273 re-mix The power of 2 x XL Lego PF motors gives the Lego set 8273 what a real 6x6 should play!!
  18. @Johnny1360, depending on your hardware, the Lego part, Technic, Steering Portal Axle, HousingItem No: 92908 from bricklink website is a solution to provide extra height for the wheel hubs is a gearing add on that is mounted after the differential.. the reinforced frame of that lego part also provides strength when you gear down for torque, torrque is a very strong force and most "homemade" wheel/steering portals would bust apart and using the Lego technic part 92908 would give the strength to gear down for torque and its all geared past the diff., ideally inside the wheel rim.. If you need to do "high speed" which speed is inversely proportional to torque, the default output of the Lego M motor is 275 rpm at 9 volts ( 405 rpm at 12 volts!!!) and gearing for more speed out of this under powered motor would be only recommended for very very light weight.. like a paper plane hauler ... but without the battery pack.. the weight of the batery pack might be to heavy for a single 1 M motor to pull.. check out this video.. this guy is a master of Lego techinc gears!!!
  19. at least you have good taste.. good job!!!
  20. @Johnny1360 Thank you!! you're very knowledgeable in the the Lego world!! In Bricklink it is listed under technic as a flick missle.. I'm sure i'll find more uses with that part!!! I just did an quick update with my Lego 8273 mod and its all about updating my favorite set using current parts.. Here are a few updates 2 x L or XL motor for the power train 49.5mm or 56mm tires support AWD 6x6 with positracttion and center diff. LA for the dump bed Fake mini 5 piston hybrid motor RC ready Detail cabin and the use of panels to fill in holes. Rear wheel independent suspension and front pendular suspension It still based from the originall chassis!!!
  21. @Johnny1360 you can ues the same setup on the Lego set 76112 Batman Rc, instead of using the Powered Up equipment you can use the Lego PF equipment and install the 2 M motors like the 76112 set.. !!
  22. I got it.... Using the Pin Connector 3L with 2 Pins and Center Hole, I think this design will fit the bill..
  23. and believe it or not!!! A llittle bit of negitive camber improves grip when cornering... https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Camber_angle
  24. @keymaker this is closer to your required specs, this design requires a stabilizer front steering bar and rear steering bar not shown.. This gives you better steering angles (tighter turns).. its almost built the same from previous pictures.
  25. I looks great!!! Nice color and shape.. looks like a wasp!!! Using an Ackermann steering can shorten the steering bar but you need to adjust the lenght of the bar like 4l length away from the center of the axle to acheive Ackermann geometry of the frame design to the back center point of the rear diff... I love those little steps!! ..
