This is an example of my 2 speed hi/lo transmission. The transmission has an integrated center differential output and it only takes up 8 studs by 3 studs by 5 studs of space.. The motor input is at the top row represented by the gray color 16 tooth gear. Not to brag ... I weighted out all the axles and gears on a scale to insure a proper balance and fitness of my transmission design.. IMG_20191222_133617559 by victormendoza_jr, on Flickr

@emielroumen You are correct about the rear support!! It's a simple fix!! I would only apply the fix if I evered motorized my model ,(the contest doesn't allow it) sliding a 5x7 frame between the diff and the "wishbone arms" would give it the extra support.. the worst case scenario, the back wheel would move over just one stud over...

Here are some more pics of the rear and front and even the rear hub!! One thing I learned is that the number 0937 spells Lego when you flip it upside down and man!! I need to clean up the dirt off my model :( !!! @emielroumen thank you and yes the rear suspension is stable.. The picture I've uploaded does look like its uneven but its just the snow causing the uneven surface. Ill upload a video when I get some time.. I have a video of the suspension before I locked the rear independent from limited live axle just to rear independent.. The reason ive done is that before the rear suspension was just a mirror of the front suspension and the issue was that the body roll was to sensitive. Moving the springs down to per wheel hub kept the rear suspension without the limited live axle support .. I do have a video with the old rear axle setup and It was just the body roll was the concern..

RC Extra Large Spider MOC
sirslayer replied to MaxBrix's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
@MaxBrix Lego Digital designer for your PC is easy to use and it useful to make instructions but the program is old and limited on parts , https://www.lego.com/en-us/ldd and the newest 3D cad software Studio 2.0 is the latest and Lego just bought out their parent company (Bricklink) it is for free!! https://www.bricklink.com/v3/studio/download.page -
@Jim On the road warrior theme, does our models needs to be based off vehicle on the movie or can be made up from any vehicle but as long it is a road warrior theme? and recently China has produced a clone buggy motors that Lego doesn't make any more. It's called "Monster motor" and are they allowable since Lego doesn't make the buggy motor anymore ? or no. and sign me up.. i'll like to enter the contest!!

@suffocation It really like the chassis design you created on your MOC. Correct me if i'm wrong, One Lego Medium Pf motor drives yours gears selector and the 2 x Large Pf motors .... Which they both run separately (Steering, Drive to wheels and crane(lift)) and (winch, outriggers) .. Very compact chassis and some of your building techniques looks sound.. the lifting platform is brilliant and I would be less impressed if you had the color of the cab in purples hues with babies plums hanging off the platform.. Good Job :) @suffocation

did you aligned the 5 x 11 framed element?? There are grooves in the 5x11 element and the top frame 5x11 grooves should be pointing down and the bottom 5x11 grooves should be pointing up!! here is an example of the grooves update nevermind .. that is not the case !!sirslayer lego technic by Victor Mendoza Jr, on Flickr -

sirslayer replied to efferman's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
I got some more 11 stud wide and 13 stud wide steering and suspension solutions using Lego 49.5mm and 43.5mm tiny technic tires. These axles have been tested under high power RC models, so that means they can take a licking and keeps on ticking on beat. The first axle set on the model is for those who needs ground clearance on such small scale .. Here are some examples.. and the last set is non driven!! Gear problems
sirslayer replied to Andro's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Instead of grinding your Legos, have you tried the black colored 20t gears?? they are a bit thinner and can be used in the placed of the tans color gear !!!! sirslayer lego technic by Victor Mendoza Jr, on Flickr -
App is not that bad at all.... @SarielIt would be cool to see if you can use the app to use the camera of your cell phone and use it to capture the RPM of a shaft like the Strobe tachometer (RPM meter) app..

DNR Shifter Issue
sirslayer replied to StudWorks's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Would this work??? it seems to handle some torque as I twist it.. but It is hard to slide the second axle in but I manage to do so , It uses an Axle 3 with Stud lego technic by victormendoza_jr, on Flickr -
@1963maniac well most big models usually would have more then one buwizz and the Lego set 42070 that goes against on what you said , or even better the newest Lego set 42099 Control+. Lego do not promote outdoor use anyway and Buwizz is just for PF devices which my understanding that Lego will stop producing all PF devices by 2020!!
