  1. cool, the XL motors are faster then the PF versions !!
  2. @Mechbuilds this is just a rough draft and I always believe that if you are using 1 Lego PF XL motor then they are always room for 2 !!!!!! maybe something like this the red diff represents your transmission
  3. shorter wheelbase has a better wiggle for your crawler when it gets stuck... :)

  12. That is different!! I like the front half.. but the second half of your tank truck. it seems its lacking some traction when you go over a hill.. Nice color and cool aggresive track / tank look!!!
  13. @deraven what planet did you come from?? 8 bits is a byte and have you ever heard of the RAW format!! and only a few cameras in the market support RAW recordings and can't assume what compression he is using so using RAW is my default assumption and it took me a year to fill up my flickr account!! if you need help.. just send me a pm!!!
  14. easy... 1 pixel = 1 bit 8 bits = 1 byte 8 megapixel (camera)= 8,000,000 8 million pixels or 1 megabyte No 1 kilo pixels camera exists today (1970's california technology) if you use a 24 megapixels camera to take a picture, 24,000,000 pixels= 192 megabytes of space is required per picture!!! reduce your camera to 1/2 megapixel per picture = 512,000 or 512k bits per picture.. goto www.flickr.com if your country allows it. you can store pictures for free when you create a free account.. and it automatically reduces the pictures size by using dithering and losey compression (which causes artifacts on pictures) but you need to enable the feature in the flicker account.. note: www.flickr.com only allows 1000 pictures to be uploaded!!!! so take 32 megapixels pictures to get the most out of your 1000 storage spots!!!
  15. I didn't like the Lego set 42093 at first when I first built it. It was to simple and I thought it was good for parts.. then I done a 4x4 mod on it and then I realized how the uni-body design and the front end looked like a snake head!! its crude yet it fits the bill.. you got to check out this video.. the uni-body can takes some hard hits!!
  16. An update onmy Lego 42078 mod .. Had a break for a bit and did some more work on the Lego 42078 Mack truck mod and even though I don't own the set ,I'm building it as I order parts from bricklink. This mod is focus on the castor of the front wheel and I think I have a little bit of positive castor angle well anyway Its a chance to see more of the front suspension in detail.. Powerd Up with 2 x Lego Powered UP medium motor for the drive train. I converted the Lego hub into a bed and tv for those lonely nights.. The top red arrow is the overall frame of the vehical, the bottom red arrows is where the actual frame is located. The tan-yellow arrows is the castor angle to the relationship through the frame to the ground
  17. The weight of the Lego 42099 , under item weight is 5.08lbs or 2.304kg.. thats very heavy for a crawler .. I hope the Control+ pulls it off
  18. Good estimate Zero!! I want to say 1500 grams + or - 50 grams cause of the gearing in turnable up front
  19. It looks heavy!! Should be in all black !! :)
  20. Good evening Lego RC fans .. at first I was haunted when I first heard that the Lego Power functions will phase out by the year 2020 and left us with Powered Up ??!! Well I jump into the band wagon and discovered a way to increase the power and speed of the Lego medium Powered up motor.. When I first got the batmobile app controlled Lego set , my intenetions was just for the hub and motors.. well after a few weeks with and got to study it more in detail, you can use Nizn 1.6 volts AAA batteries and your Powered Up gets powered up!!! The Nizn batteries are a high performance batteries and of course they are rechargable and I was able to measure 10.6 volts from the Powered Up.. (that was hard) .. Well more to come with this exciting discovery!!
  21. Thank, you :) EurobrX on Aerodynamics In order to fly in any atmosphere, your vehicle should have proper Aerodynamics https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aerodynamics and at EurobrX, Aerodynamics means alot and our engineers are constently learning and designing against challenges till we get the job done!! Here are some examples of a WIP in the art of creating the best fuselage.
  22. EurobrX Cargo bay doors Two mostly symmetrical lengthwise payload bay doors hinged on either side of the bay comprised its entire top and it can open up during a low orbit mission and its has two main features.. in the vacuum of space, the EurobrX shuttle depends on the sun for its solar power to charge and power the shuttle electrical needs. so its is typical for the shuttle to open the cargo bay doors in low orbit during most of the mission since the solar panles are located inside the cargo bay to provide protection from space fod (foreign object debris) the second purpose of the cargo doors is the ability to caputre and launch satellites. however since Mars only has primary satellites for navigation and data. No need to caputre or to launch missions for low orbit parking unless its for surveying purposes.. Here is a quick video of the mechnics of the cargo bay doors
  23. wow, that look like it would be fun to build!!! great job!!
