I appreciate your time @nicjasno and your advice is much needed on this website!! thank you for your evaluation of my MOC.. do you have a solution for the steering pivot to be closer on any 11 wide or smaller length for the front suspension and steering with drive?? the negative castor I can fix !!! Can it be done?? I'll have to do my own homework!! Great videos on youtube by @nicjasnoon all types of suspension solutions!! https://www.youtube.com/user/nicjasno/videos

  4. I have a question about Ackerman steering and chassis design ... Is this an example of a Ackerman steering with the chassis design where the pivot points angled to the center of the rear differential?? I believe is so... can anyone correct me!! adding or removing the yellow bushings can adjust the steering length ..
  5. Even though I don't own this set, just by looking at it.. A 12 tooth gear would fit !!!
  6. Funny!! but ain't he a like half man/robot ?? very original!!!
  7. I've noticed on your differentials, it's dual gear!!! Is that for the PTO and do you have and example of a PTO?? Looks great my friend !!

  10. Wow, a technic wonder!!! Good choice of color on your chassis!! Great job!!!
  11. I had for a year and It was abused in every technic way.. I got myself a few Lego Powered up motors to go with my 2 port hub.. I know you can program the m motors to act like a servo.. Im learning on using the software right now .
  12. Good point about using a servo ... if you turn it any more then 45 degree you will pop out the cv joint.. I'll use a m mtor any way.. my servo has expired !! :(

  15. Update on Lego 8081 advanced front independent suspension Here is a quick update on my advance Lego 8081 front suspension (by sirslayer) with steering installed with no toes issues at all!!! (your welcome , folks ), the steering have a good turning radius , a soft style suspension and I was able to engineer a drive shaft into the suspension frame to take the Lego 8081 to the next century!!! Using Lego's original blueprints , I was able to install the single spring(shocks) on top and use current 21st century Lego technology. I was able to use wheel hub and a similar steering connection from the 42093 corvette to give the Lego 8081 a fighting chance against the current contender (Land rover Defender) Its a easy upgrade to any ones 8081 and plus its able to be powered with and Legos RC offerings .. A short video to show the suspensions excellent performance .. and you can pass the trophy to me after watching the video.. :)
  16. Am I the first person to post this??? If i'm wrong I will remove this post... 13 wide independent suspension with driveshaft with steering available Head full of ideas!!
  17. Ok, I didn't know on the original Lego set 8081 had a smaller wishbone setup... well i went ahead and still used the newer wishbone and reduced the length from 17 wide down to 13L wide!!! I hope this is allowable and its also driven by the drive shaft..You know your in a good mood when you have many ideas that keeps on floating in your head.... you can't be creative when your in a bad mood!!!!!!! check out the video!!
  18. It was an experience that I'll always remember!!! I gained a lot of technic experience, got a lot Legos from my family and the speed metal band , Megadeth redone the music on my TC16 video!!! .. thank you to all and congratulation to the winners!!
