    Congratulations to the designer of the Mountain Fortress as well as those who enjoy it and were able to purchase a copy. But for me, Medieval Town Square all the way. I find it a lot more fun and interesting. If MTS had a price of $380, like Mountain Fortress, I'd still go with MTS.

    I ordered 7 Bat Lord's this week, so I'm right there with you! I have one Mushroom Sprite but would like to order a few more. But back to Bat Lord...my plan is to design a new Fright Knights castle

    I'm the same way. Sets like this aren't designed with one specific person in mind. They have to appeal to a large audience. At least we all have the ability to change the things we may not like! LEGO is one of my hobbies, something to do to relax, have fun, and relieve stress. Not something to get worked up over and cause thoughts of frustration and despair. Yes, I feel I'm in the minority as far as Lowenstein Castle goes . The scale just seemed off for me when it was originally available to order. No regrets, though. It just wasn't for me.

    And that's cool. You buy what you like. That's how it should be. To me, the BDP castle is nowhere near as appealing as Medieval Town Square. MTS has more color, animals, interesting minifigures and accessories, and is most likely a better building experience. Lowenstein Castle from the AFOL Designer Program doesn't appeal to me either, but I do prefer it over Mountain Fortress. Probably because the former has more color to it. And I do like Castle in the Forest.

    Oh okay, got it. I'm happy you're getting your wish in 2024 (and hopefully beyond). But get rid of the Star Wars theme? That would bum a lot of kids out, young and old.

    GWP LEGO sets are causing despair among adults, so I would agree. Some people get wind of something and start to fantasize, only to be disappointed when the final product is revealed. I want cool throwback sets like everyone else. I temper expectations and if I'm underwhelmed, I move on. That's a reasonable outlook

    It's disheartening to constantly see people criticize things which are so trivial. It's much easier to simply accept one's dislike and move on than to complain about it.

    My January 18th order shipped last week. The order consisted of 3 lots of standard parts with 5 pieces in each lot. The current price difference between PAB and the cheapest Bricklink store in the USA that could fill the same order is ~$75, so waiting makes the most sense for me. I'm sure the price difference was much greater back in January.
