  1. I can see for myself that some proportions are off, but I've got to be realistic. It's a model is built from LEGO elements to meet LEGO design standards. I still like the set and hope to purchase it. I can't say the same for the Corvette, as LEGO's representation doesn't appeal to me. And that's fine. I didn't criticize the set. I understand the designer wasn't building the model solely to satisfy my taste. If someone feels there's a MOC that provides a better representation of a Countach, then why not just build the MOC? Why criticize LEGO's version when you already have a model that suits your taste? That's what I don't understand. How does criticizing something you're not forced to purchase make one feel better? What does it accomplish?
  2. I say don't buy the model if LEGO's representation doesn't appeal to you. It's the simplest solution.
  3. Don't show us a slider. Show us your Lamborghini Countach model, how your proportions are accurate while also meeting LEGO's standards. I'm curious to see what you've designed.
  4. It's not weird. It's different, and that's good. I wouldn't be concerned with what others like, what they buy, and how they use it. You can say that it doesn't appeal to you and the small number of users who've voiced their feelings in this forum. I would not consider that an accurate representation of the "LEGO Space audience," whatever that is.
  5. Why would this matter to you?
  6. Good for him. I'm sure his disparaging review will be a positive contribution to society his view count. I'll still buy this set.
  7. This is amazing! Everywhere you look there's something that's interesting and visually pleasing. Very cool. Nice job and thanks for sharing it!
  8. I voted for Bright Bluish Green. Warm Gold isn't doing it for me. It doesn't stand out like the other options. Besides, C-3PO wore it better.
  9. I'd like to see a Light Royal Blue Classic Spaceman. The torso and legs are available in 40516 Everyone Is Awesome.
  10. I just built 42163 yesterday and enjoyed it. So it was already a good purchase, but now it's even better with your great Wall-E build Thanks for sharing!
  11. I agree with others, this is beautiful. It's amazing that you created this in 7 months. That's some serious building skills. Thank you very much for sharing it!
  12. Woah, that roof function is sweet! It looks like a fun set, perfect for kids.
  13. I really like your cement silo wagon. It goes well with the oil tank wagon model you purchased. They both help to remind me that a great model doesn't have to be large and use an extremely high piece count. Oh, and that decals can make the model even better
  14. They all look great! Congratulations on finishing and thanks for sharing! Looking forward to more pics once you finish up the rolling stock.
  15. You're not kidding! And I see you've built Ransom Fern's 71754 + 71775 alt build. It looks great! After seeing his video, I made sure to acquire both sets.
  16. @Roebuck asked why it's so difficult to include larger numbers of animals in sets. James May's response was that animals today are much more complicated and, therefore, more expensive to produce. But James May paraphrases all the questions posted in the video, so you should be good with just listening!
  17. I'm not a big Harry Potter fan, but on a whim I clicked on your latest update. After watching the video, I'm glad I did! Great work and thanks for sharing! I'm now watching some of your past updates. Also, nice building room. A lot of very cool items in view!
  18. Great video, very entertaining. I enjoy Beyond the Brick's interviews because they're always positive.
  19. This looks so good. Definitely something I'd like to have myself. Thanks for sharing!
  20. If I dislike a set or feel it's not worth the purchase price, I refrain from buying it. That's a reasonable reaction from a mature adult. Verbally criticizing the company for not producing a product which meets my expectations is pointless. It's not going to make me feel better and it'll just waste my time. It would actually make me feel worse because I'd realize that I was complaining about a LEGO set.
  21. And thank you for your response. I've never tried to make a B model and figured it would be best to begin with a small set. At this point I'm more concerned with learning how to to approach such a endeavor than actually making something presentable. Sounds like it's good to start with an idea and be willing to go in a different direction as your progress. Thanks again, I appreciate it.
  22. Very nice, I like it! Did you start the MOC with the idea of building a crane?
