  1. Haha i dont wish wish them i just know they happen ... Have alot of navy in the family ... Usually the sat link is cut two weeks before port. As far as the SR/COR it was an issue before I joined and as I see it only affects the ACTUAL involved parties lol wont mention names but dont think i need to
  2. Thanks Bodi ... I couldnt bring myself to break the monkey down after building it so it worked out well
  3. Yes but here is the issues i derive from this. Perfect example : the sea rats for the most part sail together we discuss it in our planning thread ... Now say Barts real life ships sat/radio com goes down it could be 3 mo depending where they are sailing if they get held in customs not allowed to dock via port (diplomatic reasons) they dont have fuel to reach the next port so they are stuck. To what advantage is it to keep sailing his ship(s) around with the fleet other than once he returns his ship wont be stranded in a port three turns away from the rest of the fleet? .... The way i see it is if a ship is to be "handled" by another entity it should be restricted to trade companies (as the success/failure) depends on ships sailing. A personally registered ship should not be handled by anyone else. Now there may be some exceptions to this rule (ie: my laptop is broke wont be repaired for two months) but even that I challenge as in this day and age 99% of people have smart phones ... Its a real pita sometimes on the phone but its doable (all ive ever accessed eb with). So whats stoping me for example using kurigan's ships claiming i had a off eb convo with him and hes ok with it ... Yes he amasses the dbs but what gain is it for me? Free protection? It would be no different than if you started a second login ... While theres nothing to stop you its backhanded and unfair for those playing by the "rules" I see it if two months go by thats 2 turns ... You may have already said where you want to sail with your faction so the form gets submitted but by the next turn if you havent logged in and somehow contacted leadership then it should be left in the last port ... Or assigned by leadership to sail to a friendly port in the even of outbreak of war
  4. A month or two strictly for the mrca figure you would have to get on to check results of last and submit this months .... Or else if your ship sank or was captured you wouldnt know
  5. Very nice little boat and water scene ... I love the detail given under the water ... My only wish is that it were a brick or two deeper and the island rose more out of the water. But beautiful execution and awesome story
  6. There is a lot of back and forth here so let me ask this ... As i dont know how the coding ect eould work ... Is there a way to set the Doc's to be able to ping your last active date on eb and flag the file for review? This would solve the issue if your not active within the past 31 days it flags then leadership can hold those orders. Simple rule for going forward. Ships can not be active 31 days after your last active date. If we keep the current turn schedule it shouldnt be an issue. However trade company ships should be allowed as they can be handled by any representative of the company. Properties should keep collecting. I would say 365 days could be a limit on that normally your absence wouldnt be longer ... Not saying delete just a hold on earnings with any sign in restarting these counts (not needing posts or more paperwork) Thoughts?
  7. Love the timberframe and the sign
  8. Haha thanks ... I had to find a excuse way to explain the reason the Sea Rat attacked returned fire on the Prio fleet after just last turn attacking the ESL fleet accidentally ...
  9. The hospital seems to be a busy place ... Very convincing build despite the symbol that was adopted in the 1900s its is portrayed very well.
  10. Thanks! So far its my favorite bobs build ... Sets the bar high so to speak lol Thanks ... I was worried about the night effect . . . Thanks again for the help with the first draft ... It was liked but another solution was needed at this time from Corringtons side so this developed.
  11. Remember boys don't aim directly at them just aim towards them less its murder... Good build convincing posing
  12. This looks even more impressive in color ... Cant wait to see the whole thing come together ... I see a lot of familiar faces in the crowd
  13. I was loving this build but thinking man I wish he put a light brick inside so the works could be seen easier and then bam the roof peels of and the side flips open. I recognize where that crane is from ... I guess that answers my question on how well it fits in bobs
  14. Im jealous of those bricks ... Over all a nice little build very convincing gate house with good figure posing.
  15. Oddly enough I rather like the green ... Doesnt seem fitting for a government facility however im sure they will be replaced soon lol. The story is well written and easy to follow. I do like the architectural elements in the building. My criticism is the sulky i like elements of it but feel like it comes up short ... Just a little bit more would have put it on par with the building and grounds
  16. While sailing to Jameston an altercation had taken place in the open waters between a Sea Rat convoy and a Romantica (Prio) convoy. When the Sea Rat convoy reached port they had a ship in tow repairs being made as they berthed. Captian Larvey of The Drunken Monkey Purchased two slips from the Harbor Master The Log read as follows: Capt. Larvey [SR] The Drunken Monkey [monkey figurehead] 4 days paid Capt. Larvey [SR] The Palmetto [golden figurehead] 4 days paid Later that day the Prio convoy reached Jameston with heavy battle damage. Capitaine La'Douche sought out the authorities. Knowing the Corrish stance on Piracy he hopped to see them all swinging from the gallows before he left port. In the Jameston Constables office: La'Douche: (Bursts though the door) Constable I would like to report a crime! Sergeant: Just what is it you would claim Sir? La'Douche: An act of out and out Piracy! Sergeant: Where did this act take place? La'Douche: East of Trador on way to this Port. La'Douche: Pirates fell upon my ships and over took us ... We barely made it out alive. Then they forced me and my crew into a single long boat and made off with my vessel. Sergeant: They showed quarter? Thats odd th..... La'Douche:(cutting the Sergeant off) Sir I have it on good faith that they have arrived in this very port! What do you intend to do! Sergeant: Its late Im sure they will be good and drunk tonight being first night in port. I will speak with the harbor master tomorrow to see if any ships have made berth fitting your description. La'Douche: I want them hanged! Sergeant: If the description matches and you can identify them then I will Arrest them and im sure they will be found guilty in court. If it is how you say. Even later that night: Hearing a little bird whisper in his ear that the Corrish Authorities planned to seize his ships and Imprison him and his crew. Also knowing Corringtons' reputation for hanging Pirates even if there was no more evidence other than here say . . . Capitan Larvey decided they had out lived their welcome in Jameston. Back at the docks: Capitan Larvey: Machete me boy! Machete: Aye Capitan? Larvey: We sail at first light, have the dry stores and rations secure and stowed! We need ALL ships in the fleet ready to make way. Machete: Aye Sir but why we just made port tis morn? Larvey: The Prio Capitan is claiming we attacked them ... Machete: (interrupting) Tis a LIE Sir out and out fallacy! Larvey: Aye be that as it may, it matters none, they intend to seize our ships and lock us all up. Machete: We can fight this Sir they were the aggressors sailing right through or floatila with no regard ... You were right to fire that warning shot. Larvey: Aye but how do we prove they opened fire and we simply responded ... Nay they see us as pirates ... And I be quite fond of me neck remaining unbroken! We sail at first light, those to drunk to sail will be left behind. Those too drunk to fulfill his duties will be thrown over. I need me crews hearty me boy we have Four ships to sneak out of here. Machete: Aye Sir I'll pass the word around to snuff the rum early. Larvey: Aye make it so. The Sea Rat crews worked feverishly through the night and by the time first light broke the Sea Rat fleet was twelve miles out singing "What will we do with a drunken sailor what will we do ..." Meanwhile back in town: Capitaine La'Douche met up with the Sergeant first thing accompanied and him and two privates to the Docks. La'Douche: Harbormaster! Have you had any ships that fit the description of a C2 with a monkey figurehead towing a C3 with a golden idol figurehead with a broken mast? Harbormaster: (reading log) ahh yes here they are a Capitan Larvey paid four days up front ... slip nine and ten ... Right this way La'Douche: These slips are empty! Harbormaster: I swear they were here when I made rounds last night ... (looking at log) slips nine and ten ... Sergeant: Harbormaster if you aided these pirates in any way I'll see you hang. 1st private: (to second private) so we don't get to arrest anyone? Sergeant: Not today boys ... Not today. ------- Just a little story to explain how the Palmetto came to be in my possession ... Special thanks to @kaiju, @Ayrlego,and @Bregir for allowing this story to happen. Comments are more than welcome ... I'm sorry for some of the pictures being fuzzy that's my poor quality mobile.
  17. Lovely build indeed love all the little details ... Very good story as well.
  18. I really enjoy these ships made from the row boats
  19. What a fine build indeed ... I aswell like the coal and ovens. The troops are a nice touch as well
  20. Let me start off with this is a fine ship and something to be proud of. Some improvements for this or future builds. While youve done a great job representing the style there are three parts that bother me visually 1 the blue on the stern should either be shorter or broken up by another color (refer to your second reference pic) 2 the flatness of her midsection ... Ships have a distinct curvature from bow to stern ... Its noticable in your references as well. This could have been accomplished with stagering plates tiles or cheese wedges to visually give a curve 3 the cannon ports where the shrouds tie in (the ropes up to the masts) in traditional ship design would have either not included ports their or rearranged the shroud spacing to accomidate the port Like i said these are ideas for improvement ... Overall still an impressive ship P.s. good job on including tumblehome (curvature of the sides) with use of the slopes
  21. It looks like a fun playable ship ... I like playfulness about the skulls but seriousness of the ship as well. I would have bought this if it were a kit . I would change the hatches though or use item: 2335pb076 to keep the skull theme. Imho some black or red hatches would look swell on this and still be menacing.
  22. You really like building these xebecs ... Theres alot of little details in this ... I like the hold and the capt cabin. Its also neat that you added racks for the crew
  23. Impressive build indeed ... Seems to be quite large school ... Hopefully theres a good cookie to run the mess
  24. I repair them all day long ... Not so sure about building one being fun lmao but indeed you've created an impressive result
  25. @Mesabi As the count sat in silent reflection he slowly drifted off to sleep. While dreaming of the good old days he was rudely awakened by Darby. Darby explained that all three vessels had broke through the fog amazingly unharmed ... However they had sailed off course and were quite low on musket balls and powder. The count was furious that there simply was not enough munition to go around. Darby asks the count what they should do next: Option 1) We make for the nearest port and resupply ... I simply can not have my men low on munitions. It is uncertain what we will encounter but we should be equiped properly. (1 build required - should show ships in port resupplying) Option 2) The BoC wants to babysit us then perhaps they can resupply us to. We will need to create a distraction so we can steal powder and shot from the galley unnoticed. (1build required - should clearly show your distraction and crew raiding the hold during the distraction) Option 3) correct course and stay true to the cause. The men will just have to ration their munitions. (2 builds required - First should show how they correct course. The second being a micro build of the three ships arrival in Kemblar) Only one option may be chosen this turn with each having a unique outcome. Please note while the builds listed are the minimum for turn progression, however more are encouraged to aid you in your story progression
