  1. JLaura... I love these nL gauge models lol! I think if you used the small drivers (that most use for leading and trailing trucks) with an Axel and a bushing with a rubber band a lever arm connected to a gear set on a M motor you may be able to hide it all. I would use a 9v battery. And instead of remote just make it a on off switch. Simply stop the train with your hand and turn off.
  2. I know this is an older post but I never saw this method dug into... I'm the older style magnets (where the magnet clips into a holder) would mounting the magnet rotated 90 so that it pivots up and down with only the magnet side to side thus limiting the degree of push the coupling can enact?
  3. This came together well really well done! I love all the working drawings of the real thing. Side by side you would almost assume they were made for the brick tram not the real thing lol
  4. Thank you shorter isn't an issue ... Have you run this through switches with luck? I like the lower speed.
  5. Looking great... I really love this! The damage is a good touch!
  6. Im not understanding flush? He makes medium blind and flanges that work with each other.
  7. @supertruper1988 So here is the switcher as stands. The colors are to blend with the PF Batt box as I won't have time to wrap it. I just don't think the PF truck looks right lol
  8. Looks great.... Would love to see it come together!
  9. Very fine looking train indeed! Just ashame about the lighting. Glad she was a good runner though!
  10. I'm keeping to the standard "legoesk" look even though all rolling stock, switcher and switch tower are moc's. 7w is the max I want to go ... I will try to grab a snapshot of what I have so far tomorrow
  11. Bru-Haha bringing fine beverages to Oktoberfest 618! Licenced as small artisan.
  12. Wow... I really love this one... I may borrow the method in the future
  13. Love it hahahah! I love the bruhaha reference as well!
  14. Right now it clears ... Just barely but I will add a track most likely once I finish the shunter so I can test clearance. ... If this goes over well I will go to a true inglenook next year
  15. That is awesome well done!
  16. Other than looks.... No lol
  17. Congrats to all... This was a fun challenge!
  18. Very well done indeed I'm sure the supplies will do well to fix the damage.
  19. Update: The track plan, signal tower and custom rolling stock... Still working on the switcher and getting the bricks together lol
  20. Nice score... And nice posing!
  21. It really seems like a whole new engine with your rods and valve gear. And I'm glad you approve! The Lug is relatively new and we are still in talks about "standard design" for colab layouts. Plus it had always been one guy who managed the trains with no steam on the rails. So it worked for his stock and standard Lego stock.
  22. Ok so I reach out once again. As I'm designing a Switcher for the switching layout. I won't have much time between the parts order and the show. I'm looking for a two wheel truck that is powered via an M motor... Could be remotely mounted. But it has to be great through switches as this lil guy will be all day through switches. Do any of you have a tried and tested good through switches powered design you would be willing to share? My plan is to have two pivoting trucks with two wheels each.
  23. Maybe not persay ship rations from the stewie... But maybe more mainland recipes that were popular during the time ... Like Hasenpfeffer ... Which I do have an excellent recipe for if your interested...
  24. Very appreciative... Thank you!
  25. I think he was referring to the dock blowing up... That story left it questionable to his well being lol
