I built the art school from 2022. It's nice, I love the style of it even though I had 7 screwed up pieces and one missing. It's what makes Friends better than City, there are all types of building styles in Friends. City is 95% modern.

I really would love if LEGO would bring back the bush piece that fits under the bush. Part 6065. -
Well thanks for that useful reply.

The Love for Printed Pieces Thread/Sticker Resentment Thread
Maple replied to danth's topic in General LEGO Discussion
I'm actually fine with both stickers and prints. Both have there ups and downs. Sometimes I want a piece that plan for when making Mocs. My problem with stickers is LEGO being cheap and odd. 1. LEGO being cheap. Expensive sets should have two sticker sheets, in case of screw ups or years of sitting around on the bricks. This can't cost LEGO that much more and when buying a multi-hundred dollar set, it should be a given. 2. LEGO being odd. I have no idea why LEGO makes some things prints and others stickers. LEGO made a random 'picture' piece from a carnival ride set a print. There is no need for that. That should have been a sticker as it could only be used in that set. If a sticker piece can be used in multiple sets then it should be a print.- 183 replies

I don't remember seeing this Friends flower polybag. I like it and then mistakenly bought 3. I meant to buy 2.

How are you addressing the hole on the side where it's supposed to connect to the pizzeria? -

Maple replied to Powered by Bricks's topic in LEGO Town
Euro has their VAT taxes in the price. 95% of the USA has sales tax. It's like the price increases. If it was 10% on everything that make sense, but it was random. I didn't care about Stuntz being so overprices, I never liked the sets. The bikes are great. Now that there are purple and blue ramps, I like them a lot more. Come on sales. -
Lego City 2022 Rumours, Leaks, Information And Discussion

There were 19 January 2022 sets, the four space sets were delayed until March. This year there are 23, plus two Stuntz so it's about the same. -

Yes it's completely ridiculous. The 50 euro sets are $70-$80. The farmers market van is 30 euro and $45, and the 20 euro Stunts are $35. It's almost exclusively City sets with the stupid price differences too. $20 I'd buy the dino bike on day one, $35 I'm never buying it. -

The 20 Euro Stuntz sets are $35 in the USA, plus taxes. So nearly double. Some of the past ones have been added to Bricks and Pieces for around $2.50 if you want to go that route. -
I like it and I agree, completely flat I think would look funny.

In the USA the Stuntz sets are so much more overpriced than Europe. So I'll probably try to get the dino bike piece from Bricks and Pieces. -
LEGO is going to make what, 50+ sets for 2023?! I don't have the kind of money to buy everything I want. :)

Lego Licensed Parts available from Bricks & Pieces
Maple replied to LegoPercyJ's topic in LEGO Licensed
I'm surious to if anything will come back or if the prices will go up (very likely). Yeah if you are looking for back in stock, no luck. Still made I missed out on baby cows. But you might want things because LEGO normally changes the prices January 1st, or when the service comes back the years it went away. This reminds me I need to get some replacement parts, lots of screw ups and a few missing. -

We have 11633 pieces in the USA. -
Does it really matter? Isn't everyone who shops at a LEGO Store a member? It's not like it costs money.
-
I think they will. LEGO does that with City so I think they will do the same with the new reboot of Friends. On the boxes everyone has a name and even the cop has a name.

The farm sets were rumoured to retire within 6ish months even before they were revealed. It's really weird but I guess we should be happy we got them at all. My main complaint is the new corn piece isn't being reused in the Friends grocery store and that's really odd to me. -

The last several passenger planes, in City and Friends, had 600 something pieces so the fact this one has 250 more pieces should HOPEFULLY go into a building. Knowing LEGO they probably include a fire truck, a pick up and several other things not needed. -
