  1. You don't need a new system. They already have a bestseller and standard, the bricks change, they don't have a new system every time they change. You just make animals and minifigure parts have a much smaller limit and basic pieces have a higher limit. It shouldn't be that difficult. However this is LEGO and they still don't have a way to get rid of Duplo bricks.
  2. Just because one company has a license doesn't mean the license is exclusive. Playmobile and LEGO have the Ghostbuster license for example. I'm going with it's the return of Unikitty.
  3. Are 60369 to 60375 going to be all Arctic and then just 3 underwater sets? I wonder if we get a lot of new molds with Arctic then Divers. Some new winter pieces used for the ski shop and the Winter Village?
  4. Brickheadz is really weird, even LotR is returning there. Brickhead have printed pieces, but no new molds so we get more licensing with them
  5. I don't see the need for LEGO to release a new pack, the 'old' one is only 18 months old. Plus they are still in the building sets, we just have a lot less buildings this January then last January. Plus LEGO making the new two plate thick plates for the buildings just makes it more clear the new road plates are the direction they are going.
  6. The flat ones LEGO used for decades. Yes. New ones that connect better? No.
  7. Stranger Things is very popular, but how many times has Futurama been canceled? 4 now? It's the show with the most series finales ever. I think what really holds it up is the fact all the characters would probably get molded heads and I'm guessing Simpsons didn't sell as well as LEGO hoped.
  8. I'm hoping someone here with CAD skills will build it in dark blue because like you said it's too much to redo in real life. What I really don't get is why change the main color of the main structure and then not even bother looking into changing the color of the first floor? I don't understand what LEGO was thinking. Bright azure blue is great with dark blue but not for dark red at all. I think the only thing LEGO will learn from this is to not tell us about major changes to the design.
  9. Yeah it does. They should have kept it dark blue. In my hometown they are taking an old, beautiful fire station and making it into 3 apartments no one in the neighborhood will be afford to rent. The newest thing is churches becoming clubs and I LOVE that.
  10. I know, but for some pieces it should be like 25 for others it should be 500. I think I said it before but no one needs 200 baby cows or sheep. 25 per order would be great. Or they can make a limit of 25 until the interest dies. They can't make every piece all the time.
  11. Those castle visors are already OOS. I really wish LEGO would smarten up and put in limits for minifigure parts and animal molds.
  12. No mechs means no mechs. At least for one wave of sets.
  13. You're welcome. I have issues finding bricks on BL too, so I always Brickset then BL to find things. Target USA was clearing out 21226, the Classic Spaceman, for half off. So if you are in the USA might be worth a look, or the prices might go down too because 9 of them for $60, plus 4000 other pieces should lower the price.
  14. It's right here on Brickset. Very few Bricklink sellers. (Opps I was looking at used pieces.) https://brickset.com/parts/6302092/brick-4-3-16x16-w-4-85-hole
  15. Friends is on the Jan-Feb LEGO Life magazine. Nothing much in it, a lame comic and a poster of the International School.
  16. As long as they are unique and you can tell what's in the box (cough Hidden Side cough) then I'm really excited. Also can I request no mechs. I'd like an original theme without mechs. :)
  17. Exactly. Just think about one dream being an Ice Planet ship (I really want a new Ice Planet ship), but it's a dream so it's flown by a Unicorn. At the same time though it could turn into a mess like the Vidiyo Pirate ship. But if the rumours are true I'm very looking forward to it.
  18. That's what I thought, but just checking. Makes no difference to me, I was just checking. The USA gets them normally in August.
  19. LEGO already has a theme about people tripping on mushrooms, it's called Super Mario.
  20. That sounds... awesome! I love weird. I always wanted a time travel theme that has ships and bases like Time Cruisers but then the sets would be different periods in time. That way we can get Atlantis, Greek, Roman, castle sets and even space. This is pretty close but even more wild. I can't wait to see it.
  21. Vidiyo figures and pieces were amazing, the set design was a mess and a figure for $20 was just stupid. The prototype sets that the designers showed off were great, so it's clearly not the designers fault.
  22. June in Europe or worldwide? I do like arctic and divers so I'm thrilled with the sets.
  23. Jang just posted a video of 60389, City Car garage. There are 8 really weird prints for car blueprints and the cockpit piece. However the sides of the cars and the garage logo are stickers. Those 6 pieces are double so you would only need 3 prints instead of 8. I'd be really curious for the designers to explain why they did the stickers and prints the way they did.
  24. I just built The Friends Art School set which is pretty new and the mouse didn't have any printing. However what would the printing be? The last mouse I used as an Apple one and that's just like a white half egg.
  25. I like that set, I have it, it's too flat for me. The Art School has the round windows which I really like, and candle stick pieces and more detailing. However that school is a good set and any school is better than the City one. I don't think sales of the set will be an issue, but probably a good idea to buy those earlier. Other sets, like the cube based ones or the heart shape ones, retired more quickly than the normal sets.
