Lego City 2023 Leaks, Rumours, Speculation And Discussion
Maple replied to Powered by Bricks's topic in LEGO Town
I'd love a bendy bus! I made an ex of mine sick by sitting in the bend. hahaha -
I think it was the angle I was at I didn't notice the middle section of the roof was missing, so I just counted across and up and down, but missing the big hole. haha
-
I did a quick count and my number was closer to 700 tiles. There are nearly 100 on the small little roof, both sides have ~48.

I like the Castle and think it's overpriced too. I really don't get the point of your argument.

Lego City 2023 Leaks, Rumours, Speculation And Discussion

The only officers in my town are exactly where they belong, in the prison cells. I don't have any 2023 sets, might buy some $10 sets that are $8 this week at Target, but the Emergency Vehicle HQ is a great. I rather have it for $70 than the training camp, just such a better value. As a child I would have loved to have a set that included, fire, police, rescue vehicles and a building with a criminal. -
I feel even the Alley at $400 seems to have more than this at $500. At least 700-800 pieces are the tiles on the roof. The sweet spot for me with this set is $350 and before everyone gasps, NinjaGo Gardens is $350 and has about the same figures and pieces. At $500 LEGO is just pushing me more and more to simply buy knock off brands. In case any designers are here, it's a beautiful set.

Modular Building Sets - Rumours and Discussion
Maple replied to The Jersey Brick Guy's topic in LEGO Town
I missed the Teal Car because everything I wanted was OOS. Since then I only buy LEGO from LEGO if it's on sale or there are several GWP, or I really like it. (Like the sailboat.) I've been lucky to get modulars for 40% off on eBay because of bad boxes and no GWP can make up for that type of discount. But at least the moving van is much nicer than the lame little taxi. -

That was only for some Euro countries. Most of the world it wasn't available at all. -

I don't think the difference between $180 and $200 is that big. I mean the darn Teal Car JUST TWO YEARS AGO was $85. -

Oh new parts. Fun! I still need to contact LEGO about their weird billing. AKA they owe me money. -

The slim chance that he truck lasts until March there is also a new Spring VIP Parts Pack. Funny how most of the world didn't even get the Winter one. -

I would NEVER count on that. The taxi wasn't well liked and the purchase requirement was too much. This moving truck seems to be much more liked. -
The plane and car are great. The others I've saving a ton of money with.

Modular Building Sets - Rumours and Discussion

Why is the GWP for the previous year's Modular? Last year the Taxi tied more into the Police Station, this year's GWP ties into the art gallery. -
This sounds like it could work pretty well in LEGO form if the rumour is true.

Modular Building Sets - Rumours and Discussion

I just figured 'removal van' is what the British call 'moving van'. I find it weird that LEGO changed it 'last minute'. My guess is we will be getting a Pizza food truck in 2024. I'm really sick of the lazy food trucs in City and was looking forward how the GWP was going to be. Oh well, money saved. -

Brick Clicker is saying that the Piazza van promo has because a 'Removal Van' which is interesting and silly. -

Bring your own beer. Glasses from the Pizzia Shop. Problem solved. This is why I wish LEGO would go back to making bigger modulars that have no interior, then people can't complain over nothing. -
Too busy spreading insane 2024 rumours to worry about sets that come out in like a month (or whenever they do)

80s and 90s cars were blocky but still looked like race cars or at least go karts. This bag looks rather bad, but I do give them credit for trying something new. -

Yeah I had to Brickset it. Never knew the new ones could old the visors so I'm good with them. I'll use them for something, maybe a statue. Weird that the air tank isn't dark bley.
