  1. Best to order now because you never know when things go out of stock. Plus the Funky parts pack is still around so if you spent $50 you get that.
  2. There was a trumpet in the 90s. Dust off that mold.
  3. LEGO has them listed for VIP weekend. $250 it's the LEGO House Tribute. $170 is the Elves. $65 is cookie cutters. 2400 points gets you the Toys R Us Dragon ride. https://www.lego.com/en-us/vip-weekend-deals?icmp=HP-SHH-Standard-MT_HB_VIP_Weekend_Reveal_HP-F-MT-LZSNB9KHMH
  4. Before the redo the issue was cookies, so if you deleted cookies it would normally work. For me it would work on Safari but not on Chrome. Last week it didn't work at all and I did nothing then 6 hours later it was fine. The 404 error was new to me the other day. It's been working ever since.
  5. I'm just losing my mind. Nothing to see here.
  6. For the millionth time, the baseplate has NOTHING to do with the cost of this set. In Europe it's 50 Euros with a 20% VAT tax, that means the set is really only 40 Euros / dollars. That's the price it should be. While in the USA it's a ridiculous $70. The price is set by LEGO and not by it having a baseplate. There are 4-5 baseplates in the $20 roadplate set, on Pick a Brick the roadplates sell for like $2.50. LEGO price gouging is the reason the set is $20-$30 too much, not one $2.50 road plate.
  7. That's hard to say. I think cops are useless, but prefer the citizens. Depends on how often the pieces are in sets. Cops are in a lot of sets while the school and grocery store right now have a bunch of exclusive torso pieces. The retiring list hasn't been fully reliable since the beginning of covid. However Promobricks is as reliable as it gets and those sets were rumored to be retiring by 2023 even before they were released.
  8. LEGO made a Stranger Things set, that's a horror show so anything is possible. Futurama does return in 2023 so it would be a great time to finally make the set we all want, and a CMF series.
  9. As a child in the 90s I would have LOVED a monster truck set. So maybe 25 years later children like monster trucks still. Wow. That Truck is 55 Euro? That's nuts.
  10. I agree. From the bad picture it very much reminds me of the monster truck food truck in the Creator line.
  11. I'm getting a 404 error now. That's new. Was fine this morning (Eastern time.)
  12. Darn. Missed out on the way overpriced shield. Forestman and Wolf Pack are my favorites. And it's 11% back on non exclusives. Pick a Brick is an exclusive, so it won't be 11%.
  13. Nope. Because if we are going down that rabbit hole wouldn't it be 12-01? There is 50 days until January 1st. So there is a 2% chance of it being Dec 1 or December 10.
  14. The modular will be shown at one upcoming tomorrow. I promise. The problem with waiting is there is a chance that the new modular will be sold out by February. of course the teal car had a purchase of $85 and the lame taxi was $170. So maybe next year it will be $250.
  15. I expect it to be tomorrow. But seriously, early December. I'll go with December 8-13th. Unless LEGO is having a toy fair event thing like LEG CON.
  16. Have to make room for more police and fire sets. In the USA LEGO set up the grocery store and farm sets to fail, they are pretty much double the prices they are in Europe.
  17. I agree. I do miss the train doors, but so glad LEGO used an existing window piece and made it into a double door. Love the piece. And next year we get it in a clear trans, which is perfect. I think LEGO only made the school and grocery store to go 'We made them, now shut up so we can continue to make police and fire buildings!' Thankfully I bought it last week from Kohl's, it was $48 and you got $15 Kohl's Cash to spend on a future purchase. Target.com has the Farmer and Scarecrow polybag for shipping. Don't know if it was hard to find or if people were looking to get it easily. There is a limit of 3 (per order)
  18. I hope we get the winter one, but it's my least favorite of the 4. The first one and the current funky ones are my favorite.
  19. The newer one is uglier to me, but the new train does have doors which is nice for playing.
  20. Must be because the new ones glow for a really long time. I'm not sure where my old ghosts went otherwise I'd do a test. But the new ones last for hours when I remember the old ones I kept sticking on a lightbulb to get to glow because they didn't last and that made it kind of useless.
  21. You are literally the only one I have ever seen that says the new glow-in-the-dark pieces don't glow as well as the old. The new ones glow for awhile when the old ones glowed for like 30 seconds.
  22. The Funky one (almost spelled that way wrong.) comes back in Demember so I doubt LEGO is going to give us two at a time. Very weird that Europe is getting the winter one through points.
  23. I just watch Brick Clickers videos, he has them in one of his videos. (I'm assuming I can't post a link to leaks right?)
  24. I like them better than last year. I don't $340 like them. So I'm thankful for that. I really wish LEGO would release another Mrs. Claus. They have only down the one in the old Winter Village set and as a store BAM. (Plus a minidoll) I don't need more elves I need a Mrs. Claus.
  25. I do not believe we have that in the USA, or at least I didn't see it.
