Lego Licensed Parts available from Bricks & Pieces
Maple replied to LegoPercyJ's topic in LEGO Licensed
Which is why LEGO needs a 10-25 limit on minifigure parts. This is ridiculous to people like me who just want one of all the shields. But LEGO doesn't care, the people who buy them will go to Bricklink and sell them, LEGO makes more money. -
Your source is a liar! I don't believe them!

Hopefully LEGO has given up on that garbage. I want sets like the first LEGO Movie had. There was a Space set, a Western set, a Unikity Castle colorful thing. Just bring the fun and wacky.

SMFH. Just because a few characters are very dark doesn't mean it's not diverse. 4.7 billion Asians vs 1.4 billion Africans. There are a wide range of skin shades and that's what's important. Lego literally introduced new colors just to have more skin tones.

Lego City 2023 Leaks, Rumours, Speculation And Discussion
Maple replied to Powered by Bricks's topic in LEGO Town
My context was queer is the opposite of straight. Just like the Queer Eye show. It's not called LGBTADOPQ+ Eye. I literally was going 'Let's just say queer instead of half the alphabet that ignores several sexual orientations'. Still banned for a week. It's Twitter. I've been banned by making obvious jokes. Social media is garbage. I don't have the $10 set, I was comparing it to your picture. I'm going to look for other reviews and see what they got. Maybe 'dog 33' is literally the mold and not the printing. -

Brickset has they are the same dog, number 33, but they are only listed in one set, not 2, so I'm confused. I think it's supposed to be the same, but my Queer Eye one has a shorter white spot. No two prints will be the same. Also am I going to get banned for a week for saying 'queer' like I did on Twitter? -
Modular Building Sets - Rumours and Discussion
Maple replied to The Jersey Brick Guy's topic in LEGO Town
Last year's hotel is unbalanced in every way from every other modular. Size, shape, colors. People love it. Same with the diner, it didn't fit. As the modulars retire and we get new ones a big dark blue building really could have changed the modular line for the better. Instead LEGO played it safe. -

$10 for two figures, a cat and dog and some printed pieces is a great vale for $8.30USD/$13NZD. -
Funny as mine had an extra piece. I got an extra 1x1 green cone for the top of the tree. And Friends has plenty of diversity. 75% of the characters are not 'white'. Should we ban all 'white' characters because that be more diverse?

I highly recommend the arcade from 2022, set 41708, to all the new Friends fans. It's a really fun set more so if you love the colors of the 80s.

Modular Building Sets - Rumours and Discussion

Right? I doubt LEGO is reading this but things do get back to them and I'm sure they will find out in the future. You trusted the designer to design the modulars two times in a row, stick to it. -

I love the set. I'm waiting until they are $6-$7 like almost all $10 sets become at some point in the USA. Those torsos are like $1 each, the cat and dog at least $1.50 so right there is $5. The car sucks but at least it has prints that are useful. -

That would have been a day one purchase for me. As is I'm waiting for a sale or a really good GWP. I hope someone from LEGO is reading the comments online because this is a serious mess up. -

You are wrong. It's really that simple. And honestly I'm sick of this weird way of thinking. LEGO ships the sets to a bunch of warehouses. They do so perfectly fine, they are in a nice box that fixes the expensive perfectly. They for some reason they are taken out of these boxes and shipped. If I order online I expect my things to come in good condition. Not everyone has ability of having a car, or even living near a LEGO store. Your elitism is disgusting to me. Don't bother replying because I'm ignoring you. -
This is exactly why I wish everyone was yellow.

Europe gets City sets for cheaper and better sales. I learned to look on eBay after widespread European sales. -
What's the overall interest of a blue elf Avatar movie? The first one was pretty, and an hour and a half too long, with next to no story. Then 12 years later they make a few more. Who wants that? I have never met anyone over the age of 25 that has any interest in those blue elves. I have never met anyone who has ever even talked about Avatar in the last decade. No one showed any interest in it AT ALL for a decade. Yet it's still making massive money. Exactly. Way people are now-a-days is really weird. Everyone goes and sees a Marvel movie, no one really talks about it, not even online that much. We share everything and nothing at the same time. It's an odd time to be alive. Indy will easily make a billion if it can be shown in China.

To be fair the boxes shouldn't be smashed. I have only had one smashed box recently, the Valentine Day Ornament, so not a big deal, but if it was a $500 set I sure as hell would want a replacement or 10-20% back. I use the replacement part thing about 5 times in 20 years, until recently. I still need to replace some of my windows from last year's City space sets. -

I heard it has something to do with BPA (?) plastic, which causes cancer when eaten, being regulated more in Europe so Lego switched to a new plastic. However I also thought people said it was on trans pieces and I had several solid color pieces with scratches. So I request a new piece for EVERY scratched piece and if that's ones scratched I do it again and again and again. If LEGO doesn't like that then fix the darn issue. *End of rant* -

I used to keep track of all the missing pieces and screwed up pieces and every other year send LEGO a request for like ten pieces. Then last time they gave me a hard time and I sent a rather passive aggressive email back. I got all the pieces. Now there are so many scratches on pieces I need to do multiple orders a year. The price of Lego is going up anyways. Don't be afraid to ask. Otherwise there are even more iffy ways to get what you want that Lego will like even less. -
Modular Building Sets - Rumours and Discussion

Completely agree. Which if they couldn't change the color of the sign, which should have been black like you said, then they needed to change the bottom floor to dark blue. The sign with the set we got makes no sense at all and really bugs me. But the renderings here show it's not the sign at all, just the colors used. -

You can literally just ask LEGO for an extra sticker sheet saying you think each set should have extras because they are hard to apply. I'm sure they will gladly sending you a few a year and you won't need to lie. If they find out you are lying they will NEVER send you another piece, even if it's damaged. It's not worth the risk for some stickers. -

Thank you so much. You are awesome! I really like that. Now I'm more annoyed that's not what we got. However I do like the dark blue first floor and dark red top floors. No matter what when the designers agreed to change the color they needed to change the sign. The dark blue anywhere else makes the sign so much better. The sign doesn't fit with the final colors. Supposedly = rumours. Do you have a link to share? If not then it's a rumour. -
Lego set boxes - is flattening them OK?
Maple replied to Big_Daddy's topic in General LEGO Discussion
I say depends on the box. If it's a taped box and all you do is cut two more pieces of tape I personally would have no issue with it. If it's a glued box that's different. However I barely care about boxes. -

I still think the whole thing being dark blue with the dark azure first floor would look nice. But the first floor in dark blue looks really nice too and makes the sign pop. Thanks Jonahtron. I wouldn't put and stock into retiring rumours, they change all the time. Plus having two retire this year and none in 2022 or 2024 is a little silly and out there, but completely possible. LEGO will see how well things sell this year and next and see what retires. I bought Assembly Square I think January 2020 because it was suppose to retire around then.
