  1. Everyone on here talks about how long orders take. EVERYONE. I'm talking about problems I have with the service since the change over. That's what most of this topic is. How many pages were Europeans complaining they didn't have the service for months. It's not my problem that things never get fixed. You don't like it, block me. I really don't care because I'm sure as hell blocking you useless comments. But I do love the fact that the person who got his parts within a week, were charged correctly, and had no problems doesn't like when others do. Go figure.
  2. I would love to place an order but I'm really getting annoyed that it's taking TWO MONTHS to get pieces and that LEGO charged my credit card two months ago, which I'm pretty sure is illegal.
  3. The head is awful but it's the same basic design, just smaller and has MOVING LEGS! The fact the new one doesn't is pathetic and a disgrace to the scene. What year is it?
  4. The brachiosaurus from 20 years ago looks a lot better, and had movable legs which are insanely important to the scene of the movie. They can make Christmas trees for sets, and the BlackSmith one is okay enough but not great. Literally every other tree LEGO has made in the last 10 years needs more leaves or a complete redesign.
  5. Swing and a massive miss, STRIKE OUT! This is the worst wave of 4+ sets I have ever seen. Oh? Most aren't 4+ sets? Could have fooled me by how simple they are. I get that big dinosaurs are like $30 a pieces, but still, these are not good! The center is a wall. The Brachiosaurus tree is a mess. I don't understand why LEGO can't make trees. The biggest issue out of all of them is the Brachiosaurus itself. It's legs don't move! LEGO could do that 20-25 years ago but not now? The whole point of the scene is it lifts it's legs up (which no way was realistic) and eat, the LEGO version can't do that because LEGO cheaped out?!
  6. How do you figure a Marvel or Star Wars set is cheaper in the USA? They are almost exactly the same price, and again, in Europe your VAT taxes are included. USA taxes are not.
  7. I'll be saving a ton of money.
  8. I buy my City sets from European ebay sellers. The sets are much cheaper in euros, and they have massive sales which means I save 45-65% on sets.
  9. LEGO really should have kept it Ideas rejects because at least most of those were something. These.... Nope. Also 400 things to look through. Another nope.
  10. How can Missions be a failure when LEGO is still producing the sets? Failures, like Vidiyo, LEGO would retire the sets and stop making them, they haven't done that with Missions.
  11. I was trying to figure out if it's a bad translation or if Combi is replacing Stuntz. I wouldn't mind if LEGO brought back pull back cars. But there is that City garage set from this year that has two race cars and you combine them together.
  12. If there are no pictures is it really a reveal? Also what's combi?
  13. Opps. Thanks. I didn't know know I had that off. I don't want it so I'm just joking.
  14. What?!?! We didn't get that in the USA!!!! That's not fair!!!! I'm not sure I'll be using the Pick a Brick anymore until LEGO can spend some of it's BILLIONS on actually making a functioning website that doesn't over charge me.
  15. Wow. That's stunning. The trees are perfect (Something LEGO sets need to work on.) the lavender field is lovely. Pale yellow is a favorite LEGO color of mine and fits the building perfectly, more so with the lavender plants and vines. The roof has just the right amount of texture and color. I'd buy this if it was an Ideas set. It's really really beautiful.
  16. I haven't seen more than one or two terribly blurry 'leaks' in the last year.
  17. To be fair #legoleaks has been 100% pointless the last several years anyways because LEGO follows it and if there were actual leaks LEGO would get the pictures removed right away.
  18. My desk has an overhead attached shelf that was meant for CDs way back when. It fits the BttF car perfectly and other smaller cars. I also use this to show some of my LEGO. https://www.walmart.com/ip/Greenco-5-Tier-Wood-Floating-Wall-Mount-Corner-Shelves-White-Finish/129665311?athbdg=L1600
  19. There was no need for the booklet to be one big book, it could have been 6 little books. But if you don't like my complaint I have several others. LEGO is a building toy, building 6 of the exact same thing is a boring build. There are 6 little rooms, it's a $100 That's $16.67 a room. Each room is not worth that. You think it's a much better location set then LEGO normally makes? I don't even know what that means but it's one of the worst Harry Potter sets since the theme returned. (The theme has set a high bar.) The dislike for it is warranted. I bought it because I liked the dark green.
  20. It's not a great set, the build is terrible and Lego made a HUGE flaw with it. The 6 sections are all pretty much the same build. 4 of them are literally 90% the same build. They should have had 6 instruction books and had the set be one of those 'build together' models. I got it for $55 so I'm happy with it but at $100 it's a hard pass. The polybag having a side character is a welcome surprise. they are $5USD and I have never felt like they are worth that price. But for a different person they might be.
  21. Like a Castle fan isn't going to buy the $400 castle because he can buy just the minifigures on B&P? It increases sales. I buy torsos from sets I'd never buy. If they weren't on B&P I just wouldn't have those pieces. I have never bought a set for just one piece or figure. (I did buy the 007 set mainly for the figure but Ive never built a Speed Champ set and curious about it.
  22. I'm building the BttF car and the windshield was wrapped beautiful in like a protective plastic. Very happy.
  23. Funny as the opera house I always picture (Goodspeed Opera House in Connecticut) has a flat roof. LEGO just needs to stop making flat box like modulars like the police station and jazz club, it's getting old. And eBay people, there were two hotels listed last night, one for $190 new and one for $150 'incomplete' (but 99%) they went quick, you need to stay on your toes. I tried $120 for the incomplete but got rejected. (I already have it unbuilt in it's box.)
  24. I really don't like saying this but that's a really ugly MOC. Having built it I think it's great toy and a horrible set if that makes sense. The modular-ness of the set is really nice and easily the best feature, just the modulars are very 4+. I would have loved it as a child. But again I got it for like $43.18 shipped. At $100 it's garbage and easily the worst Police Station ever created. Decades from now we will show our great great grandchildren this set and it will symbolize the terribleness of 2020.
