I like it! I'm always up for more LEGO airports.

I on the other hand love Main Street and Santa's Visit is one of the least favorite. My guess is with the Police Station modular retiring, it will be a police station. Or I kind of hope so, then I save $100+.

Lego Licensed Parts available from Bricks & Pieces
Maple replied to LegoPercyJ's topic in LEGO Licensed
It's never taken less than 2 months for me to get an order, the last one was almost three months. But as people here who get their orders in a couple of weeks say, you don't like it, don't use it, but no complaining! -
Not just that. I have the Frozen $200 (or whatever the price is now) castle and I REALLY screwed up the few stickers I put on it. I'd love to have an extra set for when I mess up, more so on more expensive sets.

I'm building my first Friends reboot set, 41727. I got it on a great sale otherwise I wouldn't have bothered. I really like the purple half building and the doggie with the wheels. Mine came with an extra set of stickers, which I think LEGO should do with every set.

Marvel Superheroes 2023 - Rumors & Discussion
Maple replied to Clone OPatra's topic in LEGO Licensed
I don't understand what market LEGO thinks it has with silly overpriced Marvel sets. Can they get back to modulars? I build LEGO because I like the build, the display part is nice too, but I rather it did something while on display. The shield is a $200 display piece that looks like one of the worst builds ever in a LEGO set. Why not just buy a premold one for a tenth of the cost? -

I really like the plane, it looks like there are a ton of seats for a change. However I'm sick of the 'screw you' LEGO does mostly to City sets in USD. $120 when it's 100 Euro? Nope. Your has taxes included and massive amounts of sales. There is no excuse for yet another set with stupid pricing. -

Yeah the release date is disgraceful and not the completely stupid high, based nothing on greed, prices aren't the reason to boycott. Which I am boycotting the sets, I'm not buying them. -

I just noticed that the 20 Euro car wash is $33USD and I'm sure the Arctic Lab will be 50 Euro while $75USD. There is no exclusive for that megablocks pricing when the USD's prices don't include a VAT or any taxes. LEGO is losing out on a lot of my money. -

The old way LEGO did it was NinjaGo would be released in June in the USA and August in Europe and City would be released in June and then August for USA. It's probably a supply thing so LEGO can make enough sets for launch. The plane is weird, there is no back fin and the back flaps go up? Very odd. But it's not horrible. -
It's an interesting set. Never thought LEGO would make a $400 Batbook set.

I've been planning to build a small cruise ship using two of 41015 but having gotten to it yet. I would love a City cruise ship and a cargo ship too. -

JangBricks pointed that out. The last one had to of the 'back' pieces and on Bricks and Pieces used to go for $32 a piece. -
I love the baby dragon, about time with that piece. The bad guys look interesting. However the new ninja outfits.... nope. The neck piece is ok because it still looks like cloth, just too much of it. The head piece looks like a helmet, it just doesn't work. The torso designs might work when I see all of them.

That's great! I just need a little bit of wall because when it's next to other buildings it will cover most of the side and I can get white panels for those window frames.

Modular Building Sets - Rumours and Discussion
Maple replied to The Jersey Brick Guy's topic in LEGO Town
If I can get two Botanical gardens for 20%+ plus I'm getting two. It's just such a wonderful set. But $150 for a two wall tower, and a very overpriced $70 for The Kitchen, is just too much. 41704 has a third wall, even half a third wall would make be happy. I lived somewhere that had an arboretum in a park, turns out after I moved away I found out that another park only 6 miles away also had an arboretum. If cities can have two arboretums than a LEGO city can have two greenhouses. -
Modular Building Sets - Rumours and Discussion
Maple replied to The Jersey Brick Guy's topic in LEGO Town
Does 41748 have a third wall? Some of the secondary pictures make it look like it's only two walls. Buying two of them to make a true modular would be $300+. Yikes. I currently have 41704, Friends Main Street, next to the Marvel modulars and it looks really nice. -
I'm hoping that LEGO protects the clear dome pieces in the Botanical Gardens like they did to the BttF windshield. It's only $80 for 1000+ pieces. Very nice. That tower is amazing. As someone who loves buildings LEGO really knocked it out of the park with the Friends, City and Creator summer buildings.

I never thought I'd see the day there isn't a cop set in a wave of LEGO City. Normally the $200 City set is lacking to say the least and honestly overpriced garbage, but damn, that's how you make an overpriced $200+ City set. The Arctic sets are disappointing to me though. Something about the colors not working for me and the sub seems small for the price. The Ice Cream Shop is probably $40+ in the USA, but when it's $25-$30 I look forward to getting it. I kind of like the simple, modern style of it and the melting ice cream down the front is fun. -

Disney Properties 2023 - Rumors & Discussion

Because they are making remakes anyways, so why not Up which I think would benefit from being live action. I love the Aladdin cartoon, having a terrible live action movie doesn't take away from the cartoon version. -

Disney needs to make a live action version of 'Up'. I think that would be an amazing movie to remake. I figured this be the best spot for to ask. I just built 76830, the 4+ yellow mech Buzz Lightyear set. The legs do not hold up the mech, they are so lose that they just flop around. Am I the only one with this issue because I've watched a few Youtube videos and they are posing the mech.
