  1. I've got some bad news. Natsu's on his way out, so I've moved everything to his ground floor to make his last few days comfortable... he's actually roughly 2 years in hamster age. He's still fighting on, though.
  2. I've just added a black 2x4 plate and round plates to cover the speed dial on the rechargeable battery....a few hours ago, I was digging through my lego...and found two train horn pieces...I'm probably going to want to brickowl/bricklink some more...anyway, listening to the awesome theme of Terrahawks. Actually, the whole soundtrack, including variations. (For those who don't know, Terrahawks was by the same person who did Thunderbirds and Joe 90, to list a few. That's right, Gerry Anderson.)
  3. The Tan hamster piece I ordered came today. Cute thing it is. Other than that, Nothing else, apart from placing the power functions light, XL Motor, extension cable (20m) and 60 pieces in my lego shop basket.
  4. My Rechargeable battery box and Charger arrived today. The thing's a little bit taller than the 9V battery box. However, it's made a difference to the speed of the motor.
  5. 2x Cargo Train, 60051 - £299.98 31072 Extreme Engines - £9.99 72004 Tech WIzard Showdown - £39.99 72003 Berserker Bomber - £29.99 70357 Knighton Castle - £109.99 Altogether, £489.94. Change, £75.52. Since £565.46 is roughly the conversion from $800. By the way, this is theoretical...I hadn't bought anything.
  6. I'm hoping so too. Either the classic bat train or the LEGO Batman Movie version would be awesome...With or without driving rods would be fine.
  7. Nexo Knights is probably the only LEGO range where one of the Knights (Macy) is also a princess.. Only a few Disney sets, ONLY A FEW, have a princess who isn't the bleedin' damsel in distress. I also feel that LEGO is lacking in Original themes. Sadly that's all I can say, because I did have some ideas on what I was going to type, but realized it would be silly.
  8. Today, I ordered the PF rechargeable battery box and charger from the Lego shop online. Probably the most expensive purchase I've made.
  9. My space gun, pigtails and queen skirt order came today. Think I've just got one more order to look out for, mainly tan hamster. Those are from BrickOwl. Currently sitting in my Lego Shop online basket, the rechargeable PF battery box and charger.
  10. ...Crypto trends? What the heck is that?
  11. I just realized that I made a factual error...I should have been calling them Bulleid Firth Brown Wheels, which are entirely different to true Boxpok wheels. I shall now sit at the back of the engine shed with a big cone on my head. Anyway, The BFB wheel was quite hard to clean. Oil, sand and water tended to collect in the hollows, and at some point in history, poor steel was to blame for the cracking wheels. It's still a very pretty and unique wheel to look at.
  12. That's some stunning detail, using various building techniques. The drivetrain has to be the trickiest part of a locomotive to get right. Take your time with it. You've done a really good job on the locomotive. Again, Favourite part has to be the XXL Bulleid Boxpok style wheels.
  13. That's a really fantastic first attempt. I'm a fan of the Bulleid Boxpok wheels that you've got there. It's a very detailed locomotive. What does everyone think about giving FLBRICKS a mention on the front page? I'm really impressed.
  14. The sweet sound of silence. And my laptop's fan. Yes, I'm typing this on my main laptop.
  15. Charette, welcome to the locomotive shed! You've got a nice collection there.
  16. Awesome Atlantic. I think you're quite the LDD Train Designer. I'm also very impressed with your Hogwart Hall locomotive.
  17. Welcome to the forums, Diego, There's a little bit of everything for everyone here, whether you like creating Lego trains, or building scale models of real life objects, you're going to feel welcome here.
  18. The IR Speed controller arrived today and Tested it. it works. Problem is, the 9V battery box that I have doesn't like the tender that it is in to have heavy loads behind it, so at some point, I need to order a rechargeable battery box and charger...
  19. The tender works. Unfortunately, I found out that the 9V box Can't handle heavy loads...She runs fine with just her tender and a small wagon, but any more than that, the Receiver cuts out. I'm going to get a rechargeable battery box, as that should solve the problem. Kinda glad I made it so that the battery box and IR Receiver are removable... EDIT: The rechargeable battery box has arrived, as did the charger. She can handle heavier loads now. The height of the Battery box meant I needed to add more to the tender. At least the wiring's a lot more tidier! :D EDIT 2: Check these out: Tender is a lot taller, to accommodate the slightly taller battery box. Cab view. I'm nearly finished on the roof. Side view. I need to add wheel arches. Didn't leave enough room for a central headcode lamp, so I couldn't do the full Royal Train headcode. Anyway, I'm really proud of this...Thanks @JEB314 (James) for the advice on the tender. Really helped. And it's my first foray into the world of PF!
  20. I'm sorry for inconveniencing everybody involved. I'm probably going to try and get into Mafiaschool, before I play again. Good luck guys and girls.
  21. (OoC) Sorry guys, but it's tougher than I thought. Good luck guys and girls...now how do I exit in style..Oh wait.
  22. What I'm saying about Tony and the Hotdogs is that there might have been a secret message from other Mafiosi hidden within one of the buns. Seriously, who leaves a hotdog stand overnight? To be honest, I wasn't thinking when I said I would vote for Tina.
  23. Recently came home to find that Willow, the naughty girl had been in my room and half chewed a Lego piece... GRRR....
  24. Right, so I've changed my mind on who to vote for...Sorry, but: Vote: Tony You've been hounding Cathy Bridger for a while now, and now me? Something tells me you're hiding something, deep underground. Come on, spill it, what were in those hot dogs you found last night?
  25. Right, so guilty by association? If you think that, you've got a few bricks loose. Confusing, to say the least.
