What set was this strange assembly from?
Steamdemon replied to Steamdemon's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Whoops, sorry. Would have helped if that topic was stickied, though. Thanks for the info. -
My dream theme would be based around Trains and Cyberspace. Rail Network, get it? We could have a team of locomotive engineers that have seriously decked out cyber trains, each with their own speciality. Of course, it would be a team of six. Three men and three women. They would work like the security suite of a computer, hunting down nasty malware type villains who aim to wreak havoc upon the citizens of cyberspace.

Above is an image of a mystery wheel assembly in my collection...it's definitely Lego, but what era and set? Happy new year, guys and girls!

Just bought a 6 by 16 plate on Brick owl. Something to bide my time whilst the Bricks and pieces service is closed.

4 mixed goods locomotives that I like are the Fowler 4F, the Larger Seagull K2, the CR 812 and LY&R Class 28. Honestly, I think James looks better in black, the vain so and so...

Thank you for rekindling my love for lego. My 3 year old nephew has officially got into lego, so that makes another builder in the family. You make some really beautiful sets. Lego can be a toy. Lego can be art. You've inspired so many to build what they want.

My friction bands arrived today, and there's four more deliveries today. Two creative blue boxes, 1 christmas train ride and a fidget spinner. (What? My niece has one!) I also ordered another N-POP girl and two books from WHSmiths. The Lego trains book by Holger, and Stuart Ashen's new book, Attack of the flickering Skeletons.

Wouldn't mind a 4-6-0 tender engine. or a Baltic 4-6-4T like the Dreadnaught tanks. (ColletArrow will know what I am talking about.)

Lego creator expert 3 in 1 locomotives? That's quite an interesting idea!

If there are goods vans, mail vans or a brake van, I'll be happy.

Well, Today is Christmas, and you know what that means? PRESENTS! I'll start. For christmas, in my stocking I found some DC universe related stuff, a Lego Ninjago minifigure, A lego book light, Rolson COB lights an old tin, (which will be handy as another chocolate storing place) the Stig soap on a rope, and some other cool things. For my Present, I got 10254, Winter holiday train, and the christmas buildup. And series 1-10 of the summer wine series. Gift cards, I got a WHSmith gift card and an amazon gift card. My sister got me a cool shirt.

Back To Basics - Favorite Classic Set Of 17
Steamdemon replied to JLSD's topic in General LEGO Discussion
The creative supplement set. Also, the blue creative box. Bought at least 4 this year. I only find them in my nearest Toymaster/Thorntons store, which happens to be in Chippenham. Besides, pick a brick doesn't usually have some of the colours that I like. -
That's really good! Although hoping those who are at the bottom of the naughty list get edible coal. If I was naughty, I would probably find a wood log in my stocking. Our fireplace is wood burning.

Mine is Mad Mod saying hello by yuki_71. I'm tempted to change it to this, though: Actually, let's do it.

I had an old Compaq Presario laptop, once. Slow thing. The blasted thing had Windows Vista, which back in those days, was slow as heck. it got to a point that not even a ram upgrade could save it. The Windows XP Desktop was a better computer. Sadly the Windows XP Died completely, which was the nail in the coffin for the Compaq Presario laptop. I was still in my Cheshire home at that time. Want to know what I did to the Compaq Presario laptop? I turned the machine off, unplugged it from the mains, took the battery out and went downstairs into the garden with it. Then, with all my anger, I took a shovel to it. I completely destroyed it. I was not going to let anyone else suffer the horrors of my laptop. A few days later, I got a Toshiba Laptop, and that one stayed with me. Recently though, the 2TB hard drive completely died on me. I've got a smaller External hard drive, but that doesn't matter. Right now, I'm typing on my smaller EX college laptop, a Lenovo Yoga 300. Lovely thing, and it serves as my tablet as well.

That's awesome news. I ordered more track, the babysitter figure and the 2x2 storage cube recently.

That is a fine caboose. You've done well. As with width, as Capparezza said, it depends the width of your locomotives and other various rolling stock. I personally like to keep my locomotives 6 wide. But yeah, that's a really cool MOC.

Just bought 6 red friction bands on Brick owl. EDIT: From my local toy shop, 31056.

Yay, my red train wheels arrived in the post!

Just attempted to do Rohta Chigah on Breath of the Wild's new expansion. This image shows my feelings on the matter:

Steamdemon replied to YellowCorvette's topic in General LEGO Discussion
The wild swans...THE WILD SWANS! I've got that book as an Kindle download! (Don't know how easy it would be to recreate that in lego) What about....the famous five? That would be a cool theme! (provided Enid Blyton approves)- 451 replies

I seem to find separating bricks nowadays to be a pain, even with one of my trusty separators. apart from that, scraping myself accidentally on an old blue crate I used for lego. I need to get rid of that stupid thing >:C

Welcome to the Forums, Admiral. I'm more into the creator sets, as well as trains. My first MOC without any custom parts was Alstad, my 0-6-0 diesel shunter. She's on display on my bedside table. Can't remember what my first star wars set was, but my largest was the ATAT walker with a battery and motor. Annoyingly, couldn't get it to run smoothly. Anyway, have fun here!

That's probably the High speed passenger train.
-
That detail is spot on. A passenger train would not look out of place waiting in that!
