  1. Excellent MOC. There aren't that many creations around which feature crashed ships or a diorama kind of thing, but you executed this very well. Is the X-wing one of your earlier creations which you used for this one after giving it the roughed up look? Or did you create it specially for this MOC? Anyway amazing work!
  2. Thank you! I recently found out about stud.io, which apparently has the option to create very nice renders for models, so I might look into that. As for the platform, you are totally right about that. It's just that from the beginning on I had the idea in mind of creating this landing pad with a worn out look, but it ended up being too small for the ship, proportionally wise. Thank you! I am flattered, although I really don't think my creation deserves a lot of credit. I am not someone who is great at all with building techniques, or designing a strong and space efficient frame, or any of that, it's just that I like to build something visually pleasant, despite me being not a technical person at all. As for building this in real, I do have a collection of lego, but its not a lot, and I don't really have much space here. So I ended up messing with LDD from time to time a bit, but I gotta admit I would like to build something from actual lego again. Its just so much more fun to look at something real than a computer image.
  3. Very nice MOC. Fits well in the Star Wars universe. There also seems quite a lot of place inside, which isn't always easy to pull off, since we are often concerned with the exterior looks of our creations in the first place. Anyway, well done!
  4. Nice creations! I think I like the orange one the most, especially the part with the transparant cheese slopes on the side. But then the blue one is nice as well ... in particular the engine part. I remember when the original set you based these off was released, seems like yesterday. But in reality its like 20 years ago or something!
  5. Hadn't seen this creation before. Very, very impressive. Especially considering that you made instructions as well and created it first in LDD. So when you make something like this first in LDD, then in real, do you encounter any problems? Like certain parts being not sturdy enough, or is this not an issue at all? Anyway, 10/10.
  6. Can I ask you a question? Does stud.io allow you to render this creation so nicely? Or do you use other software for that? I am only familiar with LDD really, but this looks 100 times better visually.
  7. Very nice ship! I especially like the engine area! Maybe you could try to make the pictures a bit larger though, would be nice to see some more closer shots of the ship. Anyway, very nice creation.
  8. Very nicely done. I wasn't familiar with this vehicle so interesting to see something new.
  9. Thank you. And you are right about it looking like the Consular class frigate, I liked the overall shape of that ship a lot so I decided to make a similar looking ship myself.
  10. Hello all, I know LDD creations are not as fun to look at as real ones but at least I enjoyed building this thing.
  11. Although many of the best Star Wars MOC's out there are large scale ships, this creation proves it doesn't have to be the biggest to be amazing. This is one of the best overall ship MOC's I have seen in a while. You nailed it.
  12. Awesome build! This does bring back a lot of memories from KOTOR. You did a goob job as well on creating a lot of interior space, so I am sure you will make a nice interior as well. I will stay tuned on this.
  13. Wow, that is an awesome build! How much pieces did it cost you to build this? Don't think I have ever seen a WW1 era tank in this size.
  14. Amazing build. This MOC would easily rate 10 out of 10 in my book. The cockpit is done excellent by the way, very accurate!
  15. I am not familiar with Babylon 5, although I might have heard of it, but despite that this is clearly an excellent build. Is there any way you could maybe provide a picture of the inside construction of the ship? I am curious to how you build the round shape of the hull. Will be great to see this project finished.
  16. Nice ship, I like the first picture especially with the stairs and the little cart thingy. Makes it look like a real lego set. I am not familiar with the ship itself though, is the extra pod a heavy cannon of some sort? If yes, does it have a special purpose or role?
  17. This is beautiful. As someone who only occasionally plays around with LDD a bit I can only dream to be this good at building ships. Excellent work. This is one of those creations which I would easily rate 10/10.
  18. Transformers meet Star Wars? Nice build! Usually I am not that much into mechs but this is nice nonetheless!
  19. Good job! I could easily see lego releasing a model like this. Any other mini vehicles you are planning to build?
  20. Very nice.
  21. This is one of the creations which is absolutely perfect. The overall shape, the details, everything is just 10/10. Hats of to your building skills sir.
  22. Normally I do not really wander around the scale modelling forum, but this is very nice. Looks indeed like a mixture between lego technic and classic model team. Have you considered loading the trailer with something? That might look cool as well.
  23. Beautiful! Superb vintage look! It reminds me of a lego ferrari car I got from my dad a long time ago ... it was sold at a local gas station, it was sold out every time we got there ... however, the owner of the station called us one day and we could pick one up. Free of charge. Great memories.
  24. Hey this is a nice build! I like the use of the curved parts around the seating compartment and sides. It flows very well, if that makes sense. Well done.
  25. Yes, that is the piece I had in mind. And smart thinking with the 'door'. The crutch works very well, I think not having enough pieces in certain situations actually helps you find a creative solution. I only use LDD at the moment, because my actual lego collection is somewhat small. But that did force me to find solutions for certain builds sometimes, simply because I didn't have the bricks I needed. But then that is the entire idea behind lego isn't it. Being creative.
