Nice one! As others have mentioned, the roof is really well done, and the panel pieces are brilliantly integrated into the build. THe lower windows are lovely too, they remind me of a building technique I first say in the Ninjago Destinys Bounty. My only advice for the future would be to clean your parts (that dust ), and maybe provide some dark background right behind the facades windows (so the white does not shine through). Apart from that: lovely MOC, well done!

Celestia’s Superb Orchid - Era II, Challenge I RESULTS POSTED
Darnok replied to Bregir's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
Well, I for one will keep further exploring Celestia with Reinhard - exactly for the reason to feature more of the ruins and natives. During the challenge I simply have not had the time for that, as my entries worked better without including natives.- 121 replies

A nice little scene! I like the mix of colours in the vegetation, which works well with the choice of rocks. Where are those minifigs from?

A clean and functional build, with some nice details depicting the work process. The stack of wood and the person sawing pieces to size is cool, as are the two workers on the inside. A detachable roof and a scene on the inside would take the build to another level, and I feel the studded unstructured outside area detracts a bit from the otherwise good overall look. An overall nice MOC, with some excellent minifig posing. Well done!

There is a little helper out there for things like this. As to not spoil its secret identity, I will only give you the letters of its name in alphabetical order: EGGOOL.

Brethren of the Brick Seas (BoBS) Intro Thread, Era II
Darnok replied to Bregir's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
The "3 license limit" is about land-based properties only. Your ship licenses are limited by your ship levels (the default level for players is 10, anything beyond needs to be payed for), not monthly. As fr your second question: good question! -
I have two ships in the works that might be fitting for this (excellent ) initiative. One is almost done, I will post pictures in the shipwright thread to discuss it tomorrow.

Thank you! Thank you for the kind words, I am glad you enjoyed it. Thanks! You have no idea of my real handwriting though - getting this map done took quite some time! Thank you! The varied vegetation is something I wanted to get done "right", I think I succeeded going by your reaction. My photo skills still have a lot to be desired, I am painfully aware of that. The blue jewels are meant to give a visual contrast while not distracting from the overall scene too much - sorry that it did not fit your taste. Thanks! "Enlarging" the temple in the pictures was completely unintentional, but now that you mentioned it: indeed, quite a nice (if unplanned) effect. Thank you, I am glad with the results, as well as that others enjoy it too. Thanks! The macro build for the orchid was the first element I finished, and it kind of just happened. There was no real counterpart, I simply started building and ended up with this. Thank you. Glad you enjoyed it. Thanks. Yes, having the sandbanks shining through was one thing I wanted to achieve, good that it got noticed! The baseplates used come from the Enchanted Island set.

It was a typo once, and I copy/pasted the title without noticing. I also criticised Ayrlego up there, not you.

Daleks find the/a Doctor
Darnok replied to Captain Braunsfeld's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
Nice little MOC (the flying Daleks are excellently done!), but the writing really sells it. I literally laughed out loud. Well done!- 10 replies

We do not, but why would you expect an English statement from a Danish company on a German toy fair? It is an official statement, period.

The glue factory is in Arlinsport. The WTC has a rather... liberal approach to meat consumption though. @Mesabi can surely educate you on the matter.

Voting is over, we have the results! The first place is uncontested and goes to @Capt Wolf: please send me a PM to discuss your price. With Mesabi sadly disqualified, we have two entries competing for second and third price, and with my vote being the tiebreaker we have a second place for @Mike S and a third place for @Lord Buckethead. Congratulations!

Very nice indeed! The building is well constructed, and has some neat details. I love the wagon (just be aware that those horses might have a short lifespan around the WTC Marines...). Showing the work process in the inside is a great addition. My only suggestion for future builds in Mesabi Landing: less vegetation, and no green baseplates. The whole island is dry land, so green grass and flowers look a bit out of place.

Neat scenery build, I especially like the brickbuild giant flowers. Those buildings looked very simple at first sight - and then I noted the yellow ornamentation. Very cool effect, well built, and giving the scene something special. Well done! Then there is the story itself, which I also like a lot. The inclusion of a native chief seems only logical, so I applaud bringing it up. The whole trio is well thought out, it seems the people of Mehit can look forward to being well represented.

The treehouse is nice, but the rocks and especially the tree designs are the real stars here. On top of that the waterfall is brilliantly done, very natural looking. Well done! I am looking forward to the continuation of this storyline, as Uncle is always up to proper shenanigans. Stop watching movies man!

@Bregir Ah, I see. Thanks for the detailed answer!
