I have also submitted this build as well as this one. Both show up in my "freebuild list" for May, but seem to not have resulted in DBs. For now I will simply assume that anything related to settlement size and trade value will be accounted for in the June account summary sheet. I will bring it up again otherwise. All is well for now, thanks a lot. Thank you for the link, I actually was not aware of that one. I will go with this option from now on then, thank you.

Ah, fair enough. Is this something that was recently implemented? Because I think my first build for the North Quarter - in terms of build submittal and settlement/trade growth identical to the others - did show up in the account summary sheet. The two other ones did not. I should also have recieved 4DB for those other two builds, which I did not. Again, this is not "about the money". I just wonder if the system actually works correctly. And what version of presenting my builds is easier for the system to handle? One thread per build, or "one thread to rule them all" with build submittals referring to individual posts? I prefer the second version, since it does not clutter the forum with lots of threads. But I also want the builds to be registered correctly...

[COR ML] North Quarter, Green Street #3
Darnok replied to Darnok's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
Thanks. Letters and numbers are actually not that difficult to do once you think about it (and have the appropriate parts). I am pretty sure you could do much better in LDD! Thank you. All the builds are unique - each of the NQ builds was built from the base up, only thing I reused every time is the roof (and even there it needed different parts to keep it properly in place). While I do want all these houses to look similar, they are of course not clones of each other. This has really pushed me in terms of "furniture production" so far. If not for this project I would not have tried this variety of furniture builds. -

Brethren of the Brick Seas (BoBS) Intro Thread, Era II
Darnok replied to Bregir's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
Small plantations have a suggested size of 32x32 studs. The build of @kaiju has maximum dimensions of 32 studs in both dimensions - in summary being just a bit smaller than a rectangular small plantation due to the irregular base. I doubt anybody would really complain. -
So I get the same problem after registering this build in its seperate thread - the settlement size and trade value did not change. Is something wrong with this months account summary sheet? Edit: I just noted that this time I also got no DB at all (instead of the expected 2DB). I could not care less about the 2DB, but this is not how it is supposed to work.

Great MOC, well done! One suggestion for the future: please provide a couple of pictures, not only a video. Not only is the video quality not the best, it is also quite annoying to search for the "good angles". I for one do not want to sit through ten minutes of a video for one model. Presenting your MOC with some good quality pictures solves that issue.

One more great ship from you! You are quite a LDD machine - are you sure you are not @Kolonialbeamter in disguise? -
@Phred I have a question about a potential issue with the freebuild registration. I just registered this build as a freebuild, and my account got updated with the according number of DB. What got not updated though was the settlement size of Mesabi Landing - and now I wonder if the mistake is on my side or the system. I chose "Is this build able to be licensed as a land-based property? -> yes" and " What settlement is this build associated with? Otherwise, leave blank. -> Mesabi Landing" as with the other build from that same thread, but using the link for this specific post. One possible issue could be that this thread in general has already been registered with the Build Submittal Form - so maybe it does not take a second post from that thread into account? If that is the case I would swith back to one thread per build - something I wanted to avoid in this case (due to the large number of very similar builds...).

Lovely addition to Mesabi Landing both in terms of build and story! The vegetation near the lake seems to be a bit stronger than in other areas of Argentia, which is a nice touch. The scenery is well built, I like the crane and especially the pump. The factories front is also nicely detailed! Overall a really good build, well done! Do you mean the one down the road in Jameston? We need one in Mesabi Landing, just saying...

It is a well-known fact that bread is a useful weapon. 't is true, just check exhibit A! Tony - being an expert in all kinds of armed and unarmed combat - just proved that once more. Nice subtle storytelling!

[COR - FB] Timber Plantation, Quinnsville
Darnok replied to LM71Blackbird's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
My first reaction? "Wow!" While it must have been hard to build, the resulting MOC is simply stunning. The overall scene looks like a real forest - the variety of trees and undergrowth is great, and the different coloured plates on the ground work wonders too. The workers camp fits in perfectly (the tent builds are nice, as is the campfire), the stack of wood is a great addition. And that falling tree... A lovely build, and another great addition to Quinnsville!- 10 replies

My (unlicensed) entry for category 3: Sweet! I might get another entry or two done then. But mostly I hope we see a lot more entreies from others! -
While the festivities in Bardo were in full swing, the WTC used the opportunity for other activities. In front of a warehouse near the harbour two WTC Marines grabbed the attention of passersby - who were rather unfortunate to do so. . There was a simple solution to this musical offense though... At the same time, inside the warehouse some other WTC Marines used the time well. With many people on the streets, nobody seemed to care about a random warehouse - whose owner might end up pretty poor soon. ============================================================================================ Some more pictures without minifigs: As for the MOCs size: the base size is 12x18 studs (216) with a one stud overhang of the roof on each size. It is well below the 256 stud maximum: As always, C&C are appreciated.

I have spoken to 274 people about this matter since yesterday, and they all agreed you should do it. They also all think you are excellent for putting great effort into this forum - they all love you!

Quite a cosy looking interior, I like all the different furniture ideas. The curtains and flag on the wall add a lot. Well done! As for the story: interesting. I am curious where this will go! -

So far it looks very slender. I think it matches a class 4 in length only, but is much thinner and really lacks the mass of the class 4 archetype. It is tough to say at this point, for now I would call this a class 3 though. Looking nice from what I can make out. Counting the midsections as 6, this would fit the description of a class 7 (heavy frigate) nicely. -
A fine continuation of your story, and an interesting take on an organ build. I like both, well done!
