  1. Aye! Just keep the judges sober and away from the parties next time!
  2. I have added the office buildings of both the WTCM as well as the Quinnsville Chronicler to their respective archive sections in the OP. It would be great to have something similar for the KPA! King's Port is on Terraversa, with background and some fine builds to be found here. I know @Capt Wolf has little to no building time these days, but maybe @Ayrlego or @LM71Blackbird could help? If one of you has the time and will to do a KPA Main Office, that would be awesome! It would be great to have this on a regular basis, but I do know the AMCRA stuff is very time consuming. Still, it would be some great icing on the cake if the Eltina Courier would become a regular newspaper! With that excellent office building of yours I guess the minifigs of Quinnsville are already hard at work for the coming issue - I am very much looking forward to it!
  3. Congratulations to @Roadmonkeytj! And many thanks to @Sir Stig for organising this minichallenge again! Of my three entries, the first one has been licensed, see here.
  4. Another great build from you, loving it! Some more pictures/angle from the upper level would be nice, as well as from the other half of the lower level. I also wonder: if the building had been abandoned for some time, how are the flowers still alive?
  5. Well, this is... massive! I like this build a lot, and second most of Ayrlegos comments. You could add 1x1 and 1x2 plates of different greys to the dark grey areas to break up the "flatness" (similar to this). Contrary to Bregir, I appreciate the use of different minifig skins - it adds a lot in visual variety, keep it that way! As for the additional build: sails are not covered in the current build, so you could something in that area. Or how about some worker barracks? Either way: great effort so far, well done!
  6. The Eltina Courrier has been added, as well as the latest KPA. I would love to see the two "inactive" newspapers getting a revival: @Kolonialbeamter seems to be MIA still, but maybe another Oleander could take over? @Bodi or @Captain Genaro maybe? As Quinnsville has got an active mayor again, maybe @LM71Blackbird is also interested in bringing back the Chronicler?
  7. Nice write-up, as usual. Kudos for having it done so quickly this month! What does "damaged" mean for a ship though? Are repairs necessary, and if so: how is that handled?

Who runs that archive, and where it is located, has not been decided yet. ===================================================================== OOC comments (open for discussion): This is meant to provide one common source for all "ingame newspapers" being published currently or in the past. If a similar newspaper shows up in the future, it will of course get added to the archive. If you find anything from the past you want to see added: please post your suggestion in this thread. If you find a mistake: please let me know in this thread. The same applies for any question or suggestion you have about one of the newspapers in general (for questions about a particular issue are probably better asked in the respective thread, or via PM to the author). @Capt Wolf: To make things easier for everybody else, I will add a link to this thread to all my upcoming WTCM threads. If your do the same for the KPA, we would have the two currently running newspapers covered. I would like to see some form of ingame representation of this archive (with a MOC to support the story). First the general background needs to be agreed on though. So if you have an idea: speak up!
  9. Must have been one hell of a party!
  10. Interesting development. Most of all I am impressed with how fast it came this time! @Bregir: please relay my thanks to the AMCRA team, great work once again, and much quicker than expected. Well done!
  11. Quite a mighty fleet indeed. Great little scene though! I know it is hard to get a lot of "content" on the prefab rowboats, but you have done a good job there. The beach is nice too, and that watchtower/mast with the parrot on top is cleverly donw (never thought about using those wheels like that). Well done!
  12. Just to double check: this has been done over here. I consider this issue settled.
  13. It is the other way around: government buildings that do not belong to another category - for example town halls - are instead classified as art and culture.
  14. One of the WTC Operators stood on the pier, cursing: "So those bureaucratic misfits want a detailed list of our rowboats? §&€%! Who is doing all the work? Me again. Ah well, here we go. Everyboy: state your boats name, the crews names, and your current cargo!" "WTC Agnes Y1, under squad leader Greybeard and rower Marcus, transporting some barrels of taters." "WTC Agnes Y2, under Smithy and rower Samston, with two bags of apples." "WTC Agnes Y3, under Rick and rower Sally, with some barrels of grain." ... "So YOU did forget them here on the pier!" ... "Can't hear ya, must row!" "WTC Agnes Y4, under Smiley and Missy, with a chest of fine spices." ... "Ah, some of our veterans!" "WTC Agnes Y5, with Marco and rower Barry, carrying barrels of cured fish." "So some food and spices. Is this really the WTC here? Squad Blue, report!" "WTC Agnes B1, under squad leader Roberto and rower Yuso, with some harmless explosives." ... "NOW we're talking!" "WTC Agnes B2, under Garry and rower Barry*, with even more harmless explosives." * ... often mockingly called "two men, two eyes" "WTC Agnes B3, under Finn and Tychus, with a box of grenades." "WTC Agnes B4, under Nicolas and rower Dutch, transporting a chest of muskets." "WTC Agnes B5, under Francis and rower Browder, carrying a big box of swords and cutlasses." "Ah, finally done. I hope those paper pushers in the admiralty are satisfied with this. Otherwise we could just send Squad Blue to help them out..." ======================================================================== @Bregir: happy?
  15. Something from the deep has risen from the waves, and approves of this structure: It was indeed the warbeast of Agnes Mesabi, who was already looking forward to new adventures: "Shoo, my mount, ride me into glorious battle!"
  16. Definitely a great looking rowboat. Appropriate for small lakes I guess? Not a real class 10 though! Seriously though, an impressive ship. Good looking overall, with some neat details (love those "rolled up sails"). A proper candidate for the flagship of a regional governor. Maybe @Ayrlego shows interest?
  17. Horses? There might be some parts stuck between my teeth... To keep this remotely on topic: ODE TO THE HORSE Oh horse - we love thee, thy taste and munchy. Ador'ble thy meat, hence our wish to eat. Oh horse - we'll guzzle, from hoof to muzzle, your every wart, not sparing a part. Oh horse - be devoured, t' our bellies detoured. For nothing be good, but end up as food. Well @Mesabi, right to the WTC songbook with this one?
  18. Indeed, and they have brought pitchforks and torches.
  19. Check this out. Greedy buggers.
  20. No, it is indeed making fun of that religious thingy... Carwash Nigiri? Crate in tweed-wear? Crash in weedfield? Something like that... As for "WTCM vs. KPA - Celebrity Deathmatch"... how about something like this?
  21. The WTC hardly shows respect to its own faction leaders, so you can not expect any respect for a fringe religion of some foreigners. If you are in the mood: I already have challenged @Capt Wolf, your are welcome to join the brawl.
  22. After Tony had made his report, Captain Wilbern spoke: "Listen fellas, this is what we will do. First of all:Columbo, you will stay here. You will keep an eye on the Red Rascals, but nothing more. Watch, not touch! You are a well trained jungle fighter, this should be no issue. When we return, you can report on whatever these pirates are up to. The rest of us will head to that volcano island and get our boys out of the barbarians hands. We will strike from two angles: The Drunken Dragon will land our troops east of the barbarians hide-out, and attack them with gunfire and explosives on my mark. At the same time, the Green Viper will start bombarding the forest west of the village with its main gun, setting it on fire and cutting of an escape route for the natives. We will free our boys, or reduce the population of that whole damn island to zero. Have I made myself clear?" "Sir, aye sir!" === Shortly afterwards, Tony stood in the jungle nearby: "My man Columbo, you really are a stealth expert. I could swear there is nothing but green bushes here!" "That is because I am over here! Idjit!" === A few days later the ships were in position, the troops had landed, and Captain Wilbern raised his voice so that all over the village his booming bass could be heard: "Listen! Hand over those prisoners of yours, and they better be safe and well. Any other action of yours will lead to your gruesome death!" "Give the signal to the Green Viper: unleash hell!" A loud "BOOM" was heard, and the forrest went up in flames: How would the natives react? ================================================================================== And with this, the current story comes to its end. Thank you @Bregir for giving us more time for additional story builds. I hope our choices made give you some interesting options for the next turn. An overview of the "jungle scene": As always, C&C are appreciated.
  23. I could throw some D-related jokes around, but will rather keep them to myself.
  24. Hip hip hooray! The WTC sends its regards and best wishes to both Pontelli in general and Smiling Sally in particular. Now get her out of that ugly robe, so she can show her qualities!
  25. If your Fake News pamphlet wants a sound beating, I am sure we could arrange a duel.
