    This is stunning. Love the little things. The tooth plates used on the roof line of the market buildings. The "wet" sand as the tide rolls out. The guy meditating on the beach. So much to see and love!

    I just put aside The Twelve to go back and read The Hobbit. After seeing An Unexpected Journey, I was inspired to re-read this classic. The Twelve is an excellent book, but I happened to hit a natural break in it so it's working out perfectly. The Twelve is the follow up to The Passage.

    While I find this building to be beautifully done, it seems really small compared to past Modular Buildings. I really hope this isn't some new scale of modular building. I don't think it will look right with past sets.

    That really is a beautiful shot. I'd love to see another picture taken from this perspective when the castle is completed. Has a really ominous feeling to it.

    Were the Western Modulars meant to be separate sets? if so, they probably should have been entered separately. If not, the price point would be WAY too high on a set of that size. Awesome MOC though.

    If this is done improperly, we will see massive hoarding of those 2 "singles". Will the distribution of each box be the same? If so, this means the two missing figures from the 2nd set will be singles, thereby making them twice as rare as all the rest. THis will be REALLY bad if those two figures are "army" builders like the knight. :-/

    Finally picked up the Orc Forge. I don't see it ever going on clearance since it's an exclusive. And it's not even included in Target's current Lord of the Rings sale.

    Hmmmmmm.... May need to call my LEGO store today to see if they have those windows in stock.

    I think the round brick technique would work much better. or if you could somehow make the roof out of mostly 1x2 slanted bricks.

    Awesome! I don't think I've ever seen a LEGO vinery. Still not a fan of the multi-colored roof. Great idea for a model.

    Simply stunning. This is the first roof with mixed colors I've seen that looks good. Yours looks great.
