  1. My guess is they go in one day, and prep a box for their scam. Then they go back another day to actually purchase it. Just recently, I was at a Target and saw a clone tank with a forged barcode sticker on it. I just left it on the shelf. I know I should have told the store, but didn't want to get involved.
  2. I wouldn't think more than a couple of bucks. If it goes for more, I have a bunch to sell!
  3. Yep, know it well. Got boat loads of the green dragon. Also came in black. You can even attach arms and wings.
  4. Supported! Nothing on CUUSOO has moved me enough to actually go through the process. I love your idea. Good luck!
  5. Here's a few of my Star Wars related pics.
  6. Keep the instructions for reference. Recycle the boxes.
  7. So happy I was able to hook up with an AFOL in the UK on Twitter. She picked up a full set for me at a great price. These figures are awesome!
  8. I really love how this photo turned out. Can you post a behind-the-scenes photo of the lighting used?
  9. Most impressive! I find this scale to be extremely challenging myself. You seem to have mastered it.
  10. Cool. Thanks! That's some serious gearing right there.
  11. Huh. Never heard of that, but makes sense. Learn something new everyday! Thanks
  12. How do these work? In real life I mean. I've never seen them before. Awesome build! I love the WIP pics of a WIP castle.
  13. Here are a couple of my Avengers pictures: If you like them, I have more at AlegoaDay.
  14. Awesome build! Great way to use all the angled white wall sections I've amassed over the years. Might even work for Millenium Falcon interiors, too.
  15. I just stopped by a local Target to see if there was anything on clearance. I saw a lonely Clone Turbo Tank, and knew I had gotten the same set at this store on clearance before. When I scanned it, it came up as $26.29! And said there were more in the stockroom. I was all set to clear them out. Then I noticed the name on the Scanner. Something like Droid Transport. Suspecting something fishy, I looked art the UPC on the box. Sure enough, someone printed the UPC from another set, and stuck it on the box. I'm sure they were going back later to get it. I was REALLY tempted to buy it anyway, but I left it where it was.
  16. How is this the fault of Lego? They had an incredible idea, and they're still running with it. How do I know it's incredible? BECAUSE every other company jumped into the same space and copying the original. I'm glad companies don't think like you or there would be a LOT less diversity in consumer choices.
  17. Um, yes, Hawkeye does fly a jet. When Captain America walks in on Black Widow asks if she knows how to fly one, he comes out of the bathroom and says he does.
  18. Wow. I really miss that Spirit of St. Louis. And I spent a LOT of time playing with those same space sets.
  19. To all of you undertaking this project, were you able to download or export a parts list to an Excel spreadsheet? I can find the list on Bricklink and Peeron, but I want the data in a format where I can manipulate it, sort it, track it, etc.
  20. 15 more Series 7 CMF. The $10 off $50 purchase at TRU made them a decent price. I got the hippie, the swimmer, and the tennis player along with several more black knights, Aztec warriros, and Viking women.
  21. I just hit my local TRU and they had 2 boxes of Series 7 at $3.49 and boatloads of Series 6 at #3.99. There was a nice lady there just starting to look through one box, so I grabbed the other. I helped her get all the figures to make a set, and she helped me snag numerous black knights, Aztec warriors, and viking women. Oddly, neither of us found a merlin king. And only two bag pipers.

Very nice! I plan on building something like this with my kids this holiday season. Love the way you did the tracks in the snow!
  23. I thought it was interesting last night at parent teacher conferences, my son's teacher said The Hobbit was the number one most popular book amongst males in college, high school, and middle school. We told her that our son used to love to read, but just recently has started having a harder time with it. He's in 4th grade. She offered no proof of her statement, nor did I ask for any, but I found that to be interesting.
  24. I always end up with a brick or two in my mouth. No clue why. No teeth marks though!
  25. Just picked up the Winter Post Office and two large PaB cups to go over $99 so I could get the free Christmas vignette set, too. Loaded up on: 1x2 Dk Tan tiles 1x4 Brown tiles large light green plates 2x2 tan palisade bricks trans\trans orange cheese slopes to fill gaps.
