Dang, building this spacecraft around that particular part has certainly given us another beauty here! I mean, it is quite literally the "heart" of this build, embodied as a most eye-catching engine!

DC Superheroes 2019 - Rumours, Speculation & Discussion
Digger of Bricks replied to Anonknee Muss's topic in LEGO Licensed
Well, for most themes, rumors for the next year typically come around during August of the preceding year, if not right after SDCC weekend during the first couple weekdays following. The thing is, like some have speculated here, Lego's SDCC showcase set for DC may instead be the D2C we've been expecting for this year rather than a 2020 set; but, nonetheless, we could still hear our first 2020 rumors for this theme right after SDCC wraps-up. -
That tunnels set would be a great 2nd set Apparently it was the grand prize winner in that contest, announced just a few days ago!

[MOC]Stranger Things Season 1 - Will, Talk to me!
Digger of Bricks replied to KevFett2011's topic in LEGO Licensed
Both the plate-built "wallpaper" and the sideways-constructed floor work really well in this vignette. Maybe the only thing that seems a little screwy is that the bed looks oversized with Joyce standing atop it, but perhaps that's just due to the perspective of the shot. -

I really dig the unsettled structuring of both the floor and the breached wall in this vignette. -

My gosh, your reusage of the stud-shooter handguns for the trees is just brilliant!!! -
Two particular teenage archetypes I'd also like to see would be a Prom Suit Guy and a BMX Biker, though I don't think it's strictly necessary that they'd have medium legs. Come to think of it, perhaps the medium legs are better suited to "tweens" rather than those in their late teens. Well, the Hidden Side theme's main protagonist Parker does have that new ponytail/beanie headgear piece that could be suitably recolored for at least another female skateboarder CMF. I don't think we need more skateboarders, but we've already had two different male skateboarders, so another female could be a likelihood to even out the playing field. Huh, alright, though I still wonder what's up with the DBG hands.

Why Power Miners is better than Rock Raiders
Digger of Bricks replied to Zarkan's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
Truth be told, I wish more AFOLs were more open to this possibility, instead of so many being convinced that the only themes LEGO should bother considering are revivals or updates of old ones. For instance, besides the Space Miners and Vernian ideas I've proposed here earlier, what if the next underground/subterranean action theme took more after @hjmediastudios's old CUUSOO submission in premise? It doesn't always have to be about miners versus rock monsters. LEGO Ideas - Hyperborea | Eurobricks - Hyperborea -
Eh, I'm still pretty stumped myself to be honest. If anything, it could belong to some sorta futuristic occupational worker in the vein of Series 12's Space Miner. For me, it's like a less-heroic looking redux of Solider 76's head from Overwatch: Brickset - Part No. 6254324 Maybe in that case it's just another BAM exclusive? Say, what if these two new heads we're discussing are just that, BAM exclusive prints?

Why not something all-new, rather than just bringing back one-or-the-other? -

Welp, 2019's about here and gone, so much for a new underground action theme ten years after Power Miners... -
DC Superheroes 2019 - Rumours, Speculation & Discussion
Digger of Bricks replied to Anonknee Muss's topic in LEGO Licensed
There’s still a pending SDCC DC set reveal (probably the only thing they haven’t revealed yet) and I’d bet good money it’ll be this set Huh, that would sorta makes sense, as this year's SDCC reveal for Marvel is technically for a late-2019 release rather than early-2020. -
Darn, I was hoping for a lady pirate Hmmm, from the looks of it, I feel the head might not at all be Pirates-related, but belonging to a different kind of archetype group altogether. Huh, that head looks so generically Sci-Fi that it's hard to assess what sorta archetype it may belong to. Personally, I'd like to know which archetypes Lego considers too obscure for a place within a CMS. Technically the line's blind-bag packaging shtick can arguably accommodate anything and everything, but is that truly how Lego sees it?
