  1. Well, it is the month of July, and most CMS have been officially unveiled a month prior to their release. So, we should see some further leaks before its presumed official announcement of early August.
  2. Heck this changes a lot... What characters could bring an animal with them? Not everyone will have one like the Rugby Player, but I guess they could have a medieval minifigure with an animal... like a Peasant with a goat perharps ? Or Forest Ranger with a fawn, a female pirate with a parrot, a shepherd with a lamb, etc... I wonder how many new animal molds will be introduced here With a piece of info like that, I do wonder how much @Falconfan1414 knows about Series 19 at this point in the game, and to what extent...
  3. Apparently in a Instagram story of his, @Falconfan1414 said Series 19 "could have a decent amount of animals in it"...
  4. Huh, interesting observation regarding the ears, as that was also true of the Chihuahua introduced with Series 9's Trendsetter (a mold I just remembered now).
  5. ...now it looks like @Ashnflash has followed-up with a Pixar-themed CMF Draft of his own shortly after the fact:
  6. Heh, I've also been suspected by others here to be paid off by both Just2Good & Ashnflash to share their content!
  7. It'd be cool if such a theme were to be in the spirit of Adventurers, perhaps with premise akin to Verne's Around the World in Eighty Days, except scaled down to instead a transcontinental basis. I mean, imagine a theme made up of racers like these...
  8. Plus, if this Dashshund mold is indeed from Series 19, this will be the third Series in a row (not counting Series 18) to give us a new dog breed! So, if that's a trend we can depend on, I'm hoping to see either a Shih Tzu or Lhaso Apso mold down the line!
  9. Huh, looks like @senteosan has resubmitted both of his "Bricksauria" projects to LEGO Ideas: Bricksauria | Tyrannosaurus Rex Bricksauria | Stegosaurus
  10. Don't worry, @Rick or @WhiteFang can merge the two topics!
  11. I don't say they should just straight take after the same aesthetic, just maybe inspire a little bit form it. Like, in the same way Exo-Force was inspired from Japanese manga and anime such as Mobile Suit Gundam and Robotech, but still feels like an original LEGO theme. Although I would personally love to see such a theme happen, seeing Nexo Knights' poor reception by the Castle fans... Yeah, I dunno if Pirates fans would be very happy with it. In premise, such a theme should be not much more than a mere Space theme with piracy (i.e. please no floating sailships within a atmosphere-less cosmos).
  12. Just look at the last time the topic was active. It's still relevant!
  13. Well, I think it'd be cool if the particular focus of such a subtheme were to be upon the archaeological excavation of medieval castle ruins within those forests, hence incorporating/acknowledging Castle as a part of City's history in a way!
  14. Pssst, @Klaus-Dieter already has a devoted topic for such irrespective of just one particular year!
  15. We haven't any standalone Space or Adventurers playthemes, can ya blame us? If a revisitation of Deep Sea Explorers were to officially be next year's "exploration" subtheme, I've stated elsewhere before that I'd hope to see such a line take on a Submarine Archaeology premise. Otherwise, an Australian Outback subtheme would be most welcome if they were to take the untread Desert route, if not the Serengeti.
  16. Here's JANG's review of 76120 for those interested...
  17. While I know Ninjago could act as a inhibition to such nowadays, it'd be cool to see Lego attempt another shot at a System-based Mecha playtheme in the vein of Exo-Force once again, perhaps next time around with either a Space-based premise (think Gundam or Voltron, though Lego had sorta touched upon this approach with 1997's RoboForce) or a Jaeger Vs. Kaiju basis (ya know, Pacific Rim!). * * Yes, I know, Lego had also touched upon that trope before with Hero Factory's Invasion From Below.
  18. Besides TLG employees, another idea I was pondering yesterday is the suggestion of a giving new "RLFM" rank to authors/representatives of Recognized LEGO Fan Media outlets. A few such EB members I know of include... @tormentalous (author of The Brick Fan) @Huw Millington (founder of Brickset) @caperberry (author of the blog New Elementary) @henrysunset (founder of the blog Brick Architect) @Zusammengebaut
  19. I think that partially happened with the 2001 Xalax subtheme, that was about a race among some little alien looking creatures, that could have well taken place on a different planet. I am not sure, but I also think that was confirmed in the 2001 game LEGO Racers 2. If you're further interested in this idea, @Henchmen4Hire started a speculative topic on such a few days ago... While I'd be totally on board for a Space Pirates theme, having such a theme aesthetically take after Disney's Treasure Planet would irk me for certain reasons. Yeah, while I can agree that a straight-up in-house Superhero theme couldn't exist within Lego's product lineup currently (if ever), I do think Lego should at least take after the varied team dynamics from such for their own future themes more often. Rather than once again recycling the typical uniformed "Power Rangers" trope they've utilized for awhile now with many themes' protagonists, how 'bout something more diverse on par with, say, Guardians of the Galaxy for instance?
  20. New Elementary - LEGO® INSIDE TOUR 2019: NEW AND EXCLUSIVE PARTS
  21. Huh, I've strangely never heard of Kirkbi Holdings before until I read that link...
  22. Here's @Zusammengebaut's interview with LEGO Designer Steve Geist at Fan Media Days on this set:
  23. Same here, that's pretty darn brilliant looking!
  24. While this be interesting, I think if LEGO were to actually create any theme like this they'd probably avoid any reference to Lovecraft by name and make a point of distancing it from him since he was mega-racist even beyond what was normal for his place and time.. Exactly! Besides, the reason I specifically mentioned that such a theme would take after "Lovecraftian" RPGs rather than Lovecraft's work directly is also primarily due to the latter's somewhat fatalistic themes. Now, whereas with most RPGs I've at least seen based upon such, their premise is often a bit more optimistic regarding triumph over their antagonistic subject matter (pretty much in contraction to the themes of his work). So ideally, such a playtheme from Lego should be no more than Monster Fighters 2.0, just with a Pulp/Noir tonal setting and Lovecraftian monsters this time around.
  25. Damn @seb71, you've really scored another winner here as far as Classic Spaceships go! I'm seriously digging your swooshable sense of style!
