  1. Heh, that too makes quite a bit of sense, especially considering that sculptor Gitte Thorsen is a collector of Teddy Bears.
  2. Pffft, of course, so that's the inspiration... I suppose the desaturated colors give the figure a "vintage" look?
  3. Print-wise, the bear is strangely simplistic for a CMF. Yeah, that seller KNOWS what the other figures are...
  4. The "Rainbow Bear" is sort of a homaged fusion of Fabuland and Paradisa in a way.
  5. Looks like Series 19 has an undead/frozen antagonistic knight CMF lightly inspired after Fright Knights' Basil the Bat Lord.
  6. No way to know, particularly since the names may be code names/placeholders with no relation to the actual contents of the sets. I wouldn't be entirely surprised if the Trolls 2 license were targeted primarily at girls, whether or not it uses traditional minifigures. After all, that was the case with much of the original Trolls film's merchandise, as well as much of the Trolls franchise's heritage since before the DreamWorks acquisition. But no way to really tell whether these sets in particular is likely to be for that license or something totally different. Given the code names ascribed to each of the sets within this theme, I too am wondering if these are for Trolls. Apparently @dimaks13 had figured that "Pt-IP 2" (set numbers 75546 through 75551) could possibly belong to that theme, but perhaps that line in question is rather a part of the Minions theme instead.
  7. So, here are all the locked-in dates for both the MCU's Phase IV and Disney + miniseries, as pertinent to this topic: BLACK WIDOW - MAY 1, 2020 THE FALCON AND THE WINTER SOLDIER - FALL 2020 THE ETERNALS - NOVEMBER 6, 2020 SHANG-CHI AND THE LEGEND OF THE TEN RINGS - FEBRUARY 12, 2021 WANDAVISION - SPRING 2021 DOCTOR STRANGE IN THE MULTIVERSE OF MADNESS - MAY 7, 2021 LOKI - SPRING 2021 WHAT IF...? - SUMMER 2021 HAWKEYE - FALL 2021 THOR: LOVE AND THUNDER - NOVEMBER 5, 2021

  10. If Hidden Side isn't considered by TLG to be on par with Chima and Nexo Knights' goals (i.e. NOT a "big bang" theme), there is though another possible successor to such on the horizon for next year. Recently, @dimaks13 gave us a range of fourteen 2020 set numbers code-named Leaf, respectively encompassing set numbers 71360 through 71373. @TeriXeri gave some reasonable speculation for why this mystery line could be a new "constraction" theme, though he also showed how that may not strictly be the case based upon the numbering of the range; so, there could be a slight possibility a wave of this size could instead be a new System-based "big bang" theme. I hope that won't be the case from here on out, as I dearly miss the variety a range of smaller in-house action/adventure themes could offer within a single year. Didn't TLG consider Power Miners to be a "big bang" theme at the time?
  11. This was really surprising to see from you when first I saw this project submitted to LEGO Ideas a few days ago! It's seriously cool to see your architectural expertise applied to a fan-favorite theme such as Neo-Classic Space! Here's to wishing you the best of luck in your journey towards ten-thousand supporters in your latest endeavor!!!
  12. Oooooh, a Cyclist eh?! If I remember right, @Trekkie99 had been asking about such an archetype on this topic awhile back. Personally, I think your own Party Clown was much better, while I don't think your two '50s-era/Astropunk Retro Spacemen are that comparable to Lego's '30s-era/Raypunk Retro Space Hero. In my eyes, they're two distinct archetypes, and I do hope we see a bubble-helmeted Space Explorer from Lego here soon!
  13. That is what I'm strongly leaning towards as the most likely possibility; but, as @TeriXeri had last pointed out, these set number ranges haven't been strictly designated to only overlapping product lines, so the fact that there's a slight chance of something else besides a potential constraction line tantalizes me...
  14. Ya know, should we be considering Hidden Side to be yet another aspiring "big bang" theme hoping to live up to Ninjago, much like what Legends of Chima and Nexo Knights hoped to be? Yes, the theme is wrapped around a AR app rather than a story-heavy TV show; but, despite that difference, could Lego have the same high ambitions for it as they had for Chima and Nexo Knights, or is the theme really more comparable to smaller-scaled themes like Ultra Agents as we've all presumed for awhile now?
  15. Huh, with a fourteen set output upon launch, this could be just another attempt at Ninjago 2.0 following in the footsteps of Legends of Chima and Nexo Knights' path (that is to say, another System-based, media-driven "big bang" playtheme).
  16. Nah, there are just so many characters the Disney brand has to offer that may never be covered if they pace these Series out at a three year rate rather than just at a single year in between. I mean, why should Disney be treated any differently than the currently-annual non-licensed line of CMS?

  19. Heh, ya know what'd be awkward, if @Robert8's upcoming Series P debuted the same morning TLG drops Series 19's official images...
  20. I do hope for it to become an annual mainstay (much like the original non-licensed line), as Disney just has so much to offer in the long-run under the umbrella that their franchise encompasses. As for a second Wizarding World CMS, well, I'm aware that they easily could, but should they? Recently I've been feeling that Lego should instead seek-out another franchise for the Collectable Minifigure theme with horizons as broad as Disney's rather than just doing another WW Series that'd be giving us characters that could be as easily shoehorned into Harry Potter playsets instead.
  21. Ya know, unless this year's Mars Exploration subtheme outperforms TLG's expectations, we shouldn't see another iteration of "City in Space" for another four years (i.e. arriving 2023). If you couple that presumption with the assurement that Disney won't be giving us another cinematic Star Wars installment until December 2022 (i.e. the start of the Benioff & Weiss trilogy), Lego could possibly be able to develop and release an all-new in-house Space theme of some sort for 2021/2022 before either of those two inhibiting factors come onto the scene. If such a theme were successful, 2023's Space subtheme for City could take the earthbound Spaceport route to avoid conflicting with future waves of this playtheme (depending on what shape it takes); otherwise, if weren't to live beyond a single wave within its debut year, that next iteration of "City in Space" could continue on towards the next frontier beyond Mars (or at least back to the Moon).
  22. I suppose there's still time for them to show them at SDCC. Seriously, I'm expecting its reveal on August 1st at the earliest, a month before its September release as according to @Zusammengebaut back in January.
