  1. Good job, BasOne! I like your Blacktron Ship very much. It's a nice design and your idea fits blacktron very well. I'm not sure if I can participate at round 2. I've still no good idea for a infiltration vehicle. My neo blacktron MOCs are all much more offensive and I'm very busy with a few other projects. Maybe I will not participate at round 2 but round 3. It's just for fun, anyway.
  2. I'm into the classic monster figures and Space. So I will buy: The Man-Bat: This guy is cute and very dark at the same time. Fantastic design. I will buy at least 3-4 of them. I can't understand why there are so many people who don't like him. I think the vampire hunters line is one of the coolest und best designed lines lego has ever done. The evil robot: Okay, he's a rehash. But I don't own the robot of series 1. But this one is far cooler then the first. I'll buy 2-3. Let's see of some parts will be useful for Space MOCs. Female Alien: I'm a little disapointed about this one. I would have prefered a female companion for the series 3 space villain, with black helmet and blacktron logo on the chest. But this one is not a bad design. Perfect for Alien conquest fans and I like the trans-purple. I'll buy 1-2. Santa claus: Simply a cute and well done figure. Much better than the previous santas. A rucksack would have been perfect. I'll buy 1 of them. Conquistador: I like it. Just a well done figure. I'll buy 1. I don't care about the rest of them. I've read so much complaining about the monster/space figures. I just wanted to say that there are collectors like me who are focused on these types of figures only. I find figures like the business man, bavarian guy, skier very boring. I've never bought some of these city figures and I never will.
  3. @Xandor: Thanks. I wasn't familiar with the Pinterest Board until now. Look great! @Draik Nova: A very good question. I've always been into the bad guys since I was a small kid. It did't matter it it was Star Wars, Masters of the universe or Lego. I always liked the bad guys a lot better. From CMF series 8 I only like the Female Alien, Evil robot and the bat monster. I don't know what it is. Must be some kind of Tim Burton-esque gothic gene that I was born with.
  4. I remember Reading that too. I think the idea behind this was, that the white guys would be US astronauts and the red ones UDSSR cosmonauts. So I agree with red and white. By the way, I liked the pink astronaut girl in CMF series 6. I wish they would produce some more astronauts in modern colors like Sand green, dark bluish grey and purple. But if they ever do with air tanks please! How cool is a pink astronaut girl without any pink air tanks available?
  5. Thanks Jasbury, I like your MOCs too. I've been very impressed by your Neo-Classic Space MOCs. And I like the fact that it seems you're interested in the Evil female alien and enemy Robot of CMF series 8 as much as I am. People, show more love for the bad guys. <--
  6. Three meters? I would'nt have enough bricks and enough space to build something like that. Also I'm beginning to realize that I have more fun building smaller MOCs. You can build them on one day, one evening of finetuning and you're done. The two bigger MOCs, I'm building right now start to annoy and disapoint me. I had these ideas in my mind for so many weeks, collected parts for them, invested so much time - and they are not as cool as I wanted them to be. It seems I don't have enough talent for bigger MOCs. Don't forget to show us some pics of your base, if you ever really build it.
  7. I love that design. Who would have thought that these peaceful looking, smiling Classic Astronauts would construct such modern and powerful robots? Blacktron should watch out...^^ Clever parts use and very cool details.
  8. Hammerstein NWCs Blacktron data retreival drone: Wow, that thing is cute. That looks like a very useful little robot. It's small and sneaky. And it transforms! Three modes and every one of them looks realistic and nice. And that in spite of its small size. Good job. Xandors Spyrius Data Stealing drone. I wasn't the biggest spyrius fan around in the 80s, but your drone rocks. It's mode as a communications tower looks cool. At the same time it looks like a powerful fighter and it's a little Mecha that can carry a spyrius agent. Very cool!
  9. I got 3-4 more MOCs. I just need to do a little more finetuning and then I need to do pics of them. Also I'm working on 2 bigger models and I really have trouble with them. Pain in the ... to build. I like the pictures you've posted. I'm not sure about the colors. When I build the first neo blacktron models, I experimented with black and trans neon green. But I didn't like the results very much. I think just 2 colors look strange. Even Blacktron I had black, yellow, grey, trans yellow and trans red. I think sets that look "official" need 3-4 colors. But I love the designs of those.
  10. Thanks very much.
  11. I'm looking forward to see the MOCs of -zenn, Hammerstein NWC and the others. Maybe a little more moderation would be needed from you, Draik Nova. I hope this would motivate more builders. Also a few more explainations would be helpful to run this thread. For example: - Who's the jury? Are you the only member, DraikNova, or can the other builders make a vote too? - Also: Do you already have a deadline, when round 2 vehicles should be completed? A have a lot of imagination, but right now I have no idea for an infiltration vehicle. Okay, maybe a small space ship could infiltrate a star system or even a base or ship. But I'm more into ground vehicles right now. Ground vehicles (cars, mechs, crawlers etc.) are large and noisy most of the time - so I have difficulties imagening an infiltration vehicle.
  12. I find it very strange that we have one series in stores right now and we don't even know what the next series will look like. Even in the new Lego catalog there is only a ? and a naked Minifigure as spaceholder for the next series. I think it is about time now.
  13. Neo Blacktron Reconnaissance and Data Retrieval drone, called "Spike" by the troops. Spike is build to sneak silently into enemy bases and ships. There he tries to connect to the main computer to steal all kinds of data. Also his sensor tool, which can be extended, can intercept longe range transmissions and do reconnaissance on the battle field. Also Spike is able to defend himself when he's engaged by enemys. He's programmed to use all kinds of weapons, but prefers to escape, avoiding combat.
  14. Thanks Sinner & Si-MOCs Let´s do this just for fun. I'm not interested in winning any prices. I'm just looking forward to see pics of the other MOCs.
  15. I love the color scheme and the figures -zenn used. These MOCs were a great inspiration for me. I'm in. Just for clarification, round 1 would be the data stealing drone - when should this first MOC be finished? June 20th?
  16. I wish I could. I don't have the equipment (lightbox etc) to take pics on white background. Hmmm - I guess these rules could be enough. Do you really think these heads would be fitting for the Space Marines/Galctic Parols? I don't think so. For my tastes they are much to old fashioned for them. I would prefer something like this, done in the "new Style" of faces: http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?P=3626bpb309 http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?P=3626bpb448 http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?P=3626bpb542
  17. I already got 4 of them. I'd love to build some mechs and vehicles for those guys, but there are a few things that keep holding me back. 1) I would keep the color scheme of their vehicles in Dark Blue and Bley, with trans black windows and small silver accents. But I don't have enough dark Blue bricks. 2) The face is hard to replace when you're troop building. There aren't many faces with HUDs around. @DraikNova: Or maybe they could be allies against Space Police and Galactic Marines? And after they have won, they would betray each other and then have their faceoff. I loved that one! I tried some regular yellow faces on my Galactic Marines today and I hated it. I don't like the fact that those helmets don't have any visors. Regular yellow faces just seem to be out of place with these helmets. I wish I had more futuristic/cyborg faces for them. Space villain face seems to be to sinister for them. By the way: Just imagine an army of Error HUD Marines. Blacktron virus upload. Sounds fun!
  18. Thanks very much for the feedback. I'm a Neo Blacktron fanatic right now. I think it won't take very long, until I can update the thread with new pics. @XandOr: Yes, this space villain and Rench from the space police line have been the starting point for my Neo Blacktron line. When I saw them first, I knew from the first moment I had to create a blacktron line update. I was so looking forward to this space villain. I think I have about 14-16 of them. But I prefer the rench torso, because this is "the real thing". The perfectly updated Blacktron torso. I'm so thankful that TLG did those two figures/torsos. I'm still experimenting about how I could use those space villain torsos. Maybe there will be different ranks in my neo blacktron army. I also hope that TLG will release some other figures with this space helmet in black, because they became a littly pricy at bricklink.
  19. has not set their status

  20. I was born 76 and started playing with lego when I was about 5 years old. My favorite lines were Space and Knights, back in those days. After Futuron, about 1990-1991 (at the age of 14-15) I finally lost interest in lego. The other favorites of my childhood had been Kenners Star Wars line and Mattels Masters of the universe. When I was 14 oder 15 I switched completely to Star Wars and thought the new lego space sets were boring. The lego space sets in those days were very kid friendly, peaceful und colorful and I prefered the darker tone of Star Wars. There was a short period 1997-1998 when I returned to lego. The UFO line had caught my interest. I bought a few UFO and Aquashark sets, tried to buy a few sets that I've always wanted in my childhood. But without the internet, it was very hard to find what I wanted. So I lost interest again. 2010 I spottet the collectible minifigures series 2 at a supermarket. My girlfriend was very interested in them from the first moment. Then she infected me with that. Also she discovered my large lego box in the basement and asked me if we could bring it upstairs to take a look at those old bricks and build something with it. That was the point when I really caught fire. I started to buy some Space Police I and Blacktron sets online and then I got interested in the Exo Force line. Now I have an almost complete Exo Force collection. So my dark ages were 12 years and I'm back since 1 1/2 years. Right now I have so much fun, building my neo blacktron line and my collection of bricks trippled it's size since 2010, I feel really addicted right now and I wonder how long this infection will last. Not sure if I should be thankful to my (now Ex-)girlfriend, that she has brought me back to the hobby.
  21. Yup, it was. Roboforce, Exo Force and Insectoids are some of my alltime favorite lego lines. Also I've imagined a storyline about Neo Blacktron. In my fantasy they are thieves and spys, stealing technologie and information of all factions (humans and aliens)in the Lego universe. Their motherships look like peaceful, civilian cargo ships, but they start raids in fast hit and run ground missions. By combining all sorts of human and alien technologie in their vehicles and weapons, they grow fast, so space police is not capable to deal with that problem. Maybe only the Galaxy patrol/Space marines would be able to stop them. Thanks very much! Giving vehicles an Interior has always been naturally for me. But right now I'm doing my first shy steps in "SNOT" (sounds disgusting ). I think this building technique is fun, but I find it hard sometimes to create nice interiors with this.
  22. Thanks very much for all those positive comments! There will be some more MOCs in the near future. I will update the thread, as soon as I can make new pics. Yes, there are lots of hatches and canopies. I got one more pic of the scout car, with the hatches open, that I can post soon. Also I got some pics of the Sniper crawler, with the cockpit opened. But I've forgotten to do some interior detail pics of the halftrack. There are interiors in all the vehicles, but the ones of the halftrack and scout car are not very detailed. My inspiration for this line was the Blacktron upper body of the Rench figure in the space police line. It featured an updated Blacktron 1 design, with a blacktron 2 logo. So my line is also a modern combination of blacktron 1 and 2 colors and I replaced light grey and yellow/white with bley. (dark bluish grey) Blacktron 1 = Black, yellow, light grey,trans-yellow Blacktron 2 = Black, white, trans neon green Sorry, but no. I don't have enough money and shelf space to build a large base. I'm 1 1/2 years out of my dark ages now and my selection of bricks is still very limited, so I don't think this will happen in the near future.
  23. I love both sets. Great designs.
  24. Hi! :-) I got some updates on my Neo Blacktron line. I've been very busy in the last few month, creating new vehicles and mechs for those guys. But let's show them in detail: Scout car A small scout car for recon missions and repair work on the larger mechs and ground vehicles. Sniper Crawler: A light crawler, designed for hit and run missions. Fast and heavily armed, it carrys one Neo Blacktron trooper into battle. Halftrack This heavy halftrack can transport large groups of Neo Blacktron troopers. It's SNOT, it's inspired by a Sd.KZF 251 and is armed with a light laser weapon only. And some group shots, just for fun: I hope you like them. C&C are very welcome.
