  1. Ah. Well, I now have ONE changeover catch, so I might make a two-speed gearbox.
  2. Where are coming from with this statement? I'll try it out, and see where it gets me. But remember that this is not a MOC.
  3. My favourite is a rim. You can so much with a rim, it's unbelievable.
  4. That's one of the MODs. I prefer it without the front. It is a finished vehicle. Thanks! The Volkswagen is on hold at the moment. I got bored. My plan was (is) to make it RC.
  5. Sorry for the delay, but You two are correct. As a distraction from the Warthog, I wanted to build something BIG, something that I knew would work. So I built this Modified 42029. What do you guys think? You can find more information on my Flickr.
  6. I think I'll reverse engineer this, or wait for the instructions because it looks great!
  7. Oversteer is when the rear end of the model "slips out".
  8. Thanks, that was my goal.
  9. 9398 includes: 2 L-motors 1 Servo motor 1 V2 IR receiver 1 6 AA Battery box 1 IR remote. Regarding you other question, yes, this forum is for only lego,. Discussing counterfeit or knock-off products is frowned upon and strongly discouraged.
  10. Well, if you ever do get the budget, go for it. They're worth it.
  11. I didn't, unfortunately. But they did send me another to replace it.
  12. I have; 1 receiver with a faulty cable, 2 XL motors with faulty cables, 4 M motors with faulty cables, and I have one rechargeable battery box that only charges when the charger is put in a certain way.
  13. Exactly why I chose to build a dealership, versus a SINGLE racetrack corner.
  14. I'm currently building myself a car Dealership. The plan is to have three stripes with cars attached vertically to the wall. I would LOVE to hear what you have to say about it so far.
  15. Could we get some closer pictures of the Porsche 911's please?
  16. Well, I'm not a fan of the way Brickset's page is set up, so I don't use it very often. I much prefer bricklink, because you can choose the piece, and it will tell you what sets had it in which colour. I just checked, and it does come in those colours. I didn't know it was such an old piece. Sorry. But keep checking other pieces to be sure. On another note, it's been Frontpaged! Congratulations!
  17. Here's my favourite: Unfortunately, most of my good pictures are of system models.
  18. Well, the only ones I have noticed so far are the 1x2 trans-black slope preceding the main windshield, and the second is the bottom plate that makes up the main structure of the car base, as it does not exist in blue, nor white. Just change it to black and it'll be fine. Regarding your other question, I do not know if there is a tool for that. I think you have to check each part on bricklink, or rebrickable to see if it exist in such a colour. If your model is impossible with the current colour pallette, I recommend seeing if there's another colour scheme that could work.
  19. It looks a lot better now, but if you could lower the hood by one plate it would look much better. Some pieces you have chosen do not exist in such colours, so the next thing I recommend doing is making it 100% buildable.
  20. So, I built it with what parts I had, and I only have two complaints. The first one is avoidable, with enough experience, and it is that some connections are weak. They lack parts that help strenghthen the parts. One section that is most affected is the front license plate mount, as the brackets that hold it aren't really attached to the plate beneath it. The second complaint is not really a complaint, but a recommendation. If you are going to build it in full Speed Champions style, the car shouldn't have seats, nor opening doors. Otherwise, it is built like a Speed Champions set, and has the looks of one too.
