letsbuild replied to TechnicRCRacer's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
It sounds like you have a type of ackermann steering setup. To get the footnotes under our posts, go to your account, settings, then signature. write whatever you want to be in your signature there, then press save.- 10 replies

Technic 2017 Set Discussion
letsbuild replied to CM4Sci's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Oh. Thank you for educating me on this topic. I heard somewhere that they actually did have a joint just behind the cab, but I guess I was wrong. I'll go edit that post. -
Technic 2017 Set Discussion
letsbuild replied to CM4Sci's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
It is quite possible, seeing as Unimogs and other trucks of the same type do usually have a joint in the middle. Just kidding, @Saberwing40k just taught me that they don't have joints there. -

Fragile wires or not
letsbuild replied to jorgeopesi's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
I have damaged many wires on my models, leading to unusable motors, collecting dust. It's scary how fragile they are.- 20 replies

Mine is to actually complete models, not just give up when I'm 90% through.

It would certainly be worth your while! As thirdwigg mentioned, it's probably selfish of us to get you to go, but it would be super useful to have that information, especially after last years Porsche discussion, where we thought it would be motorized (boy were we wrong), to prove that we need someone who knows their stuff to go collect intel for us. -
I had the same thing happen to me, too! I could've sworn I had two of these in pearl light gray, but I still can't find them. They work great for headlight areas on technic cars. Cheers Let's Build P.S. Your link is the wrong one. It leads to Wikipedia's bernstain bears page.

Heylo, As some of you know, the Buggy motor is very expensive, very rarely appearing under $50CAD on Bricklink, so if anyone is selling a buggy motor for below that price, I would be glad to hear about it. Thank you, Let's Build!

You can't post there until you have 10 posts, I think. Sorry.

I cannot see your picture... -
Hey folks! I started a topic for all my models, because I didn't want to clog up the forum with useless topics, I decided to place them all here! I'll kick things off with a WIP idea: Volkswagen Nardo in 1:11th scale. For anyone who doesn't know what that is, I'll save you a google search. This is what it looks like: As you can see, it's very curvy, so it will be a difficult model. Anyways, cheers, Let's Build

I really like the use of the dark-green slopes as trees. It really adds to the gray, miserable, uninteresting design!
