  1. Elephant > Cactus > Flower > Unicorn > Cowboy > Bricks > Cake > Dragon > Race car > Firework > Party kids > Clown > Cat > Spider And last and totally least is the character who reportedly has only one per box. Its almost like they're encouraging a certain behavior.
  2. Side profile picture of the piece from the minifigure hairpiece thread of the Harry Potter set:
  3. The girl's hair on the left is awesome and I must pre-empt this by saying I know nothing about Harry Potter but the guy on the right holding the lantern looks absolutely hilarious.
  4. Here's a more detailed look at the new dress piece courtesy The Brick Fan from video at the NY Toy Fair, long studs like minifigure legs: https://www.thebrickfan.com/lego-new-york-toy-fair-2018-set-images/
  5. Lego won't do those, you should know better. They have however done a couple homages to the V-22 Crashprey, just not in military industrial complex barely-hovering-graveyard-livery. Which is good because then its only minifigures instead of brave Marines that perish when they eventually do what they're known for. Although these stated vehicle preferences are in-line with what some kids might like; masculinity compensating muscle cars and growing more useless by the day anti-armor attack helicopters.
  6. Thats a lot of stickers Also Lego hub caps. Pretty sweet. I'm partial to Makinen and the Evos but its nice to see some WRC in Speed Champions in any case. I like that they incorporated various setups for tarmac and gravel wheels and the add-on hood lighting (you say "bonnet" right?).
  7. This is honestly one of the best threads ever. The sharing of ideas, the discussion and the results are all very inspiring. Outstanding work.
  8. If one of those ripoff thief companies wants it they'll take it in anyway. If you sell instructions they may buy one and get the plans that way, if you only share pictures they'll do what the other member has already done and just reverse engineer it from the photos. Best to just not worry about that and know that if one of those terrible companies does that then the AFOL community will call them on it and you'll still get the credit from the community. You got 10K votes on Ideas so you've reached a sort of Lego fame. Only way one could see about improving the build or making more solid, streamlined, efficient parts use or legal connections would be to see how you've built it fully because recreating it from photos requires some areas to be hypothesized or guessed. It is a fantastic MOC, I was rooting for you in one of the other Ideas discussions.
  9. Honestly what's cooler, a Ford Mustang or an AS350?
  10. Calling this one (Big Pirate Parrot) by ChaMi because the actual title is very long.
  11. Yeah but wouldn't a lot of submissions fall into similar status of existing Lego line; Modulars, Architecture, City vehicles/Speed Champions, Creator scale model style cars and the ever present elephant Star Wars. There are a whole lot of Ideas submissions that fall into these existing Lego lines and like Brickheadz its doubtful that any would ever be approved. But banning submissions along those lines would certainly make scrolling through Ideas a lot faster.
  12. Wow very pretty and realistic. Also so many variations. Great work. 3rd one is especially strong and I like the use of transparent green for the stems.
  13. Osteoporosis pterodactyl necromancer? Most complex thread title ever! That's very cool. The Gargoyle is one of the best CMF and you've done some great enhancement. Excellent job with the painting.
  14. I can see the pictures if I right click, copy the link and post it into a new browser window but they're not showing up in the thread. Thats a lot of microfigures. Nice build, hopefully you get the pictures sorted out. It looks like its a conflict with the hosting site you are using as it shows up red/not allowed if attempted to link via 'insert other media' in the post window. The FAQ details a EB preference of Flickr or Brickshelf for image hosting (but Bricksafe also works from experience, Flickr is the most common though).
  15. What a great and fun looking train. Its bright and wild and very happy looking. Great MOC.
  16. Many larger hardware stores sell this sort of thing now that one can install themselves but its worth mentioning that UV films have a limited life expectancy and degrade over time which is dependent on a number of factors so it likely won't be a one-time never-again solution. The film itself may look fine but unless you do testing you won't know how much its actually blocking. Many UV film warranties are only a couple of years but they advertise protection for a decade or more. Museums and art galleries are large consumers of this sort of thing for their precious and irreplaceable exhibits. Also most interior lighting emits UV as well, the stuff is just everywhere.
  17. Another issue of age-related deterioration is this tire (and a few others) Edit: dr_spock just mentioned it: (87697) They do not age well becoming both greasy and sticky at the same time and transferring the sticky-grease while yellowing pieces they are left in contact with. In fact even new they feel a bit slippery and leave fingers feeling unclean after mounting to wheels in my experience. I avoid that tire for MOCs now and replace all instances of it (and wheels) with its same-fender-fitting cousin: (11209) A little bit of a shame as I'm not a fan of the low-profile tire look but I very much dislike the grossness of the tire-shine-like-secretions.
  18. Stunning all throughout. The color choices, the snot floors and walls and minifigure builds all blend for a beautiful style and rich scenery. Well done gorgeous modular MOC.
  19. Wonderful diner. You captured the Iconic trailer-size and diner style perfectly. Very lively build inside and out with great details everywhere and the interior lighting is perfect. A+ MOC!
  20. Very nice! Brick Yellow goes perfectly with the Italian colors and pizza theme. It should replace the flower shop outright as pizza is infinitely better than flowers. Great 16-wide addition MOC to AS.
  21. Wow very pretty MOC all throughout. I like the shuttered windows and backpack flower planters. The angled wall of the orange building is excellent, the ornamental decoration along the facade and roofs are great. Lamp shop is very original and the part use for the stack of tires in the bike shop is very clever. Beautiful buildings Paupadros!
  22. What an outstandingly beautiful build. The usage, blending and balancing of colors is perfection and the treehouse, waterfall and abundance of foliage makes for such a cozy and picturesque scene. I want to live there.
  23. What a beautiful scene and gorgeous ship inside and out.
  24. Dang thats a very nice micro build until image 'item' 16 and 18 which are illegal builds. 4274 connector peg w/knob into the bottom of a brick like that doesn't go into 'click'/always in compression.
  25. Gorgeous 16-wide. I would not have expected that color to look so great and it's a perfect match for the ice-cream parlor. The colors in the ice cream shop are perfect especially the minifigures and details like the stacks of cones. Also love the living room and master bed. Great MOC.
