zoth33 replied to RowiaBuilds's topic in Guilds of Historica
Neat little build. I like the sand green and the broken column. The plants with the flowers give the build a nice touch of flora. Nice fig too. I really like the monkey king fig it is a great fig and the head hair piece are so useful.- 7 replies

This is a nice model. I've already supported this in Lego ideas. I like the classic feel of the castle itself with some rock work thrown in. The different angles are nice. I like the tan accents throughout the build. The figs are great.

Who know's at this point apparently Target is saying they will have them August 15th now. But if they don't get them in stock by then it could be later with the factory in Mexico being down. My son was disappointed, he was looking forward to building the skull dragon. Hope Target has them, I will be checking on the 15th.

LEGO Hidden Side 2020
zoth33 replied to Digger of Bricks's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
My local Lego store here in Connecticut said they wouldn't have them till September. I hope Target has them earlier but we will see, They can't ship them if they don't have them in stock. So it's just a waiting game at this point. -
Very interesting. Thank you for the info and the web link. Definitely fun to watch and see all that goes into the process of making the sets and the theme as a whole.

[MOC] Frøstdjur, The Frozen Beast
zoth33 replied to Louis of Nutwood's topic in Guilds of Historica
Very cool. I like the head, very well designed. The colors you used work well together. The body and neck look very meaty as compared to official lego dragons. I like the wings, also nicely designed. The tail looks neat, I like the way it is long and very flexible. Great story to go along with the build. -

Does anyone know the part number for the sword in the new Harry Potter CMF? -
The building is interesting. I like the use of the dark grey with the white behind. The snow affect throughout the build is great I really like the way you did the snow on the roof and the rock. The small trees look nice against the snow. I like the warriors versus the wolves scene. Very nice build overall

I really like the chapel. The archway for the front door is very nice. The roof is great, nice use of magnets. The detailing on the outer walls is great. Great stained glass windows too. The base and landscaping is well done, I like the plants and the fact you have a path that wraps around.

Why all the hate for Legends of Chima?
zoth33 replied to Lego David's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
Yes that was pretty bad. They could've done a different mold. I forgot about the beaver tribe. -
Awesome barber shop. I like the design. The windows look good. The color choices work well, and I like the plants on the outside around the building. The roof looks great, I like the way you angled the roof. The archways in the front are nice. I like the awning too. The interior is nicely detailed, I like the pictures of people on the interior. Very nice build overall.

Why all the hate for Legends of Chima?
zoth33 replied to Lego David's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
I actually enjoyed the theme. My kids enjoyed the show and sets. The show was obviously aimed at children and isn't meant to appease us adults. But I really enjoyed the figs and some of the sets were fun to build. I use a lot of the figs in my fantasy castle builds. I actually am still looking to buy more of the wolves to increase an army I am making. The armor and wing pieces were great. I liked the spider and bat figs too. The phoenix build was really good. I actually really liked the fire and ice theme part as it produced some of the best figs and prints. -
Why are LEGO Elves sets so Sought After?
zoth33 replied to Lego David's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
I actually have a decent amount of elves sets. I don't care much for the mini-dolls so I used the hair pieces for my custom figs. I have the elvenstar tree set it's great really well designed and a couple of the dragons too. I really like the goblin kings dragon, great color scheme and build. I wish i had picked up some more of the sets. The pieces and fig parts are very useful for my fantasy/castle world. I even used the hood pieces with the elf ears on them for a custom faction of moon elves I have made. The theme was very interesting just wish I also wasn't buying other themes at the time like Nexo knights, Ninjago, Marvel, and some DC and Star Wars sets. -
What are your favorite music releases of 2020?
zoth33 replied to brickyoda's topic in Culture & Multimedia
Can't wait for the new Orbit Culture album. I love the song by eskimo callboy called hypa hypa that video really was fun. I don't know what the Germans have been drinking but I think all of us could use some in these dark times. Feuerschwanz also had a fun song called ding. I wasn't too impressed with Lamb of Gods new album. -
Great collection so far. I really like your ghouls with the mouth of Sauron head.

Lego Licensed Parts available from Bricks & Pieces
zoth33 replied to LegoPercyJ's topic in LEGO Licensed
After it ships I usually get mine in a week. I've ordered several times and I think only one order was close to the 10 day mark. It also depends on how your local USPS works and if they get the mail out in a timely manner. -

Did you get an email saying it shipped if not its probably still in the warehouse. It takes 7-10 days from the day it ships not from the day you made the order hope that helps . I live in Connecticut so usually get mine in a week sometimes a little earlier. And yes you can get them on the weekend when the mail comes. -
I really like the building. The texturing is nice. The long slanted roof is a great idea with the area for the goats on the end. The snowscape is done well. The figs look good too. Great job overall.

Those horned demons and the spider queen in the new Monkie Kid sets are going to be very useful. All 3 figs are great. Can't wait to get my hands on them and start making custom figs.
