  1. Great build. What grabs my attention is the different styles of vines you have and the different plant pieces used for each. Also all the plants in the courtyard look unique too. The building has some nice texture and the different roofs give the build a nice skyline. Great choice of colors too.
  2. Yeah Hopefully they can post it here. Don't know the rules of being on the show might not allow it.
  3. Love the roof technique. The colors work well together. I like all the clean lines in the interior. You do some excellent work.
  4. Nice build. The shanty looks good, I like that is spans across the water to the small outcropping of rocks. The use of the flag pieces for the sail on the raft makes it look tattered. Nice looking figs too.
  5. Really nice work here. I like the interior, the steps look nice. The chandelier looks great. The bridge outside is a nice detail. Throwing the snowgies in the snow ball fight looks fun. You did an excellent job all that research paid off in my opinion.
  6. I don't think they've said a release date for the blacksmith yet. I'm sure we will find out soon though.
  7. But your comparing 2 completely different ideas. Nexo was a mash up of castle/space with some fantasy elements. This Enlighten stuff is straight up fantasy which lego has done before. I think Nexo knights villains were pretty good. Yeah Nexo knights had a lot of vehicles but they base that off of the research that kids like that kind of stuff. Now lets hope Mythica is actually a series of sets too. If Mythica does have sets hopefully they have good or great figs and some nice new dragons, griffons, etc.
  8. I also miss the Elves theme. I picked up a lot of sets. Although I don't really use minidolls I used their hair pieces on custom Moon Elf and Sea Elf figs I have made using minifigs. I think the Elvendale Tree set is great, the tree is well designed. Many of the dragons are great too. My favorite is the goblin king dragon, the colors really work well together. The buildings are designed well and have unique styles. I'm really hoping that this Mythica rumor results in sets with fantastic creatures, buildings and figs.
  9. A castle/pirates crossover would be great if done right. Especially with a evil faction pirate ship and castle. If they did it in a fantasy setting too that would be great to come up with some kind of interesting evil creatures. They could do Sea Elves as the good faction and use some of the great Elvish architecture used in fantasy novels and Elvish ships have a nice elegance to them. Just an idea I've had floating in my head for a while now. I'm working on making a Sea Elf Island, trying to see what colors I want to use at this point.
  10. @John Cromwell very nice custom capes and banners.
  11. Oh my that's a scary looking santa. Very nice job on the sleigh. I like that the orcs have weapons in there. Also like the use of wargs to pull the sleigh.
  12. Yes of course it should be different. I was just pointing out they have done a water dragon before. Some of the Elves dragons are very nicely done. From the price it seems to be of decent size. The skull dragon from this last wave of sets is really great I love the look and design of it although it's not very movable, still looks great battling my knights. I just hope this water dragon is nice design and looks good. I need more dragons.
  13. Well it is for Nya so a fire dragon wouldn't make sense. Plus the Elves line had a water dragon. Sounds interesting and will be interested to hear what the S15 is centered around. At that price should be a decent size dragon too.
  14. Those Ninjago sets have some great pieces. That golden dragon piece the figs are holding is very interesting. The head piece on the main villain is going to be so useful hopefully they make it in other colors too later maybe for a cmf or something. The ninja weapons in white. The new shields. The villains themselves look great. The catamaran sails will be useful. The island dragon has a nice color and the head mold looks great.
  15. I saw Mortal Kombat too. All these sets look great the dragon is awesome looking. The keeper village is a day one buy for me. The villains look incredible. That head piece for the chief looks fantastic. My youngest son is also really excited for this wave. The catamaran looks great too. Hopefully they start appearing before march in places.
  16. Ah ok I thought that was a little bold to have the bedroom like that. This is going to be huge then. Nice job so far and have fun building!!
  17. Looks great. I love the roof technique and the archway for the door. Nice figs.
  18. I like using hinges or using tiles with the occasional stud on each level so it can be removed. Interiors are fun to build. Obviously you can't use hinges sometimes if you can't open the building far enough. I like using more open concepts for elvish architecture.
  19. Looking good so far. I like the windows and the doorway. Although having the bedroom so close to the front door may be a problem for the king if assassins try to get him. Nice job.
  20. That is a great idea. Hopefully the ones in Connecticut will do that.
  21. Nexo Knights and Bionicle were pulled early for some reason by Lego. Whether they tell us or not we may never know. But they must have had their reasons. I'm just hoping for some kind of castle theme within the next few years. If it were mixed with fantasy elements that would be great but at this point I would take just a generic castle theme.
  22. Nice texturing on the tower and the ground work looks nice with the layered look. The choice of colors is good. The lavender spot on the side really stands out. The gold accents on the tower catches your eye. The figs look great and the energy pieces give that great battle effect. There are so many great torso prints from the hobbit/LOTR.
  23. I think your looking at this from a narrow perspective. Your only looking at it from one side and saying that all these people love trains. That doesn't mean everyone is dying to buy train sets. There may be certain restrictions they have to follow for production be it either from their own corporate practices that have been adopted because of Covid or from the Denmark government itself (I don't know i don't live in denmark). Also they may be having trouble getting supplies for their production runs like plastic, lubrication, boxes, etc. Supply chains all over are slow for just about everything. Many businesses are even failing or shutting down so for Lego to still be open is pretty good. There are so many factors that could be slowing this down especially now. Saying Lego is stupid won't change that and I don't think they are that dumb being the number 1 toy company in the world. I think they are doing fine considering the current situation. Things are all messed up all around the world, given time things will straighten out but it will take time
  24. Nice build. I like the color choices, the different blues give a nice layered effect. The dome looks good. Good looking figs too.
