That's what happens when everyone has to stay home and people have nothing better to do than watch tv or browse the net. Hopefully the pics leak soon

The sets are OK. Hopefully the castle is better. I like the villains. The small sets always seem to be more interesting to like this waves with the shark. The tall slender guy in the fire truck set looks cool. The prison is nothing special. -
Got it thanks. Here's to hoping it's getting annoying staying at home all day. I miss the lego store.

Latest impact of other themes on historic themes

The summer Ninjago wave is going to be great for us fantasy/castle builders. The figs are great and from the look of the sets it reminds me of fantasy era. I think the sets and builds will even work in my lego world. -
Sets look awesome. They have that fantasy era vibe as others have said. I'm really liking all of this so far. Can't wait to see the skull dragon. Wu's battle dragon looks nice and all the figs are amazing. This wave is going to be so good for customizing figs and parts for fantasy/castle builds. I forgot when do these come out August?

Definitely some interesting sets. I'm really liking the Mech's. The Monkey King looks great. I like the bull demons. Going to pick up the Mech's and some of the smaller sets for sure for the figs. Hope these come out soon.

War sheep excellent idea!! Great harness and saddle. Nice base looks like cracked sand. Good looking fig too.

Excellent build. I love the texture with the profile bricks and the tooth plates looks great. The tiled roof looks good with the two different colors. The tan and nougat with the blue behind is a nice combination. The plants, flowers and especially the tree looks amazing. Nice little boat. The water looks so clean and vibrant. Also your figs are wonderful too.

Nice gate. I like the clean sleek look of the castle. I also like the vines going up the sides. The touches of red and white throughout the build give it some nice detail.
-
Pretty cool. Now just add some scared looking minifigs and you've nailed it.
-
I really like the layering of the cobblestone. Nice little cart too.
-
Nice tower and I like the use of the different browns for variation. The rock work looks good and nice looking pathway. I like the figs too.

The wings are very nice. I like the use of the hair pieces in the wings. There are some nice color combinations here. Nice use of the chima fire wings. -
The female fig does look quite nice. This theme could be very interesting. Hope this theme releases this year.

The usual place on IG. I think Kai looks pretty good. The skull sorcerer's face is good. Really want to see the dragon now.

This is fantastic, easily recognizable yet has some new techniques and colors. I like the symmetry of the colors on the castle from dark grey and light grey. The gate house is really a fine looking build. I think the arches throughout the build are a nice touch that resembles the original. The use of the green slope pieces is nice addition of color to the build and an interesting use here, looks really good. Everything is so clean on this build making it look sleek and refined. The figs are great, I like the use of the cmf elf combining it with the kingdoms dragon knights is a good idea. Wonderful build.

Neat little scene. I like the trees and the use of plates for the land. Nice old school castle figs too.

LEGO Collectable Minifigures Future Series Rumours
zoth33 replied to r4-g9's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Exactly. I wish more people on these forums felt like you do. A very realistic and still positive approach to something we all on here love. I think the complaining on here gets very off-putting sometimes and the fact that Lego is still a kids toy at heart look at the new Mario line. I mean there is stuff Lego makes that I don't like but I don't sit here for hours stewing over the fact that they didn't make a minifigure I wanted or they way I wanted it to look. Or even sometimes people get all hurt and feel they are entitled to certain sets, prints, minifigs, molds, etc. I'm still just freakin thrilled we even got LOTR/Hobbit sets and can't wait for the blacksmiths shop. As you said some great figs in the CMF's like the viking and Knight and the new Ninjago looks great especially the figs so far. I also think this years marvel sets could be great and the new wonder woman set looks fantastic. -
awesome job. Monochrome builds can be really good or really off but I think it works nicely here. The use of the tooth and horn pieces is a clever idea.

Excellent build. I like the tower and how you have the profile bricks on the inside. The colors used for the wall and the tower look great. The variation of plants you have is fantastic, really adds some depth to the build. The tiered ground levels also bring an extra level of detail to the build. Great job.
