  1. No my pictures are blurry. I will have some better pictures soon but my work schedule has been crazy lately and have more to the story. Thanks for the comment.
  2. The gold accents look great with the tan and dark grey. The trans red throughout the build gives a nice pop of color. And once again some very nice figs.
  3. That is a very impressive build. I like all the arches along the wall and on the towers, gives the build a nice flow throughout. The tree and garden are a nice touch. Your drow army is massive.
  4. That is a lot of puppies. The contrasting colors are nice and your usual building style is always fun to look at. The eclectic armies you have here are very interesting. Nice job.
  5. Thanks yes that is Heron. I used the extra beard from the viking in the series 20 minifigures. I thought Heron looked better with the beard than without, I have been tinkering with different mages and I really like his look. Also the armor from the Ninjago fire snakes is so useful.
  6. Heron is a powerful mage who is entrusted with the protection of the sun orb in the outskirts of the city of Thalmar. His sun warriors and the scimitar wielding brother hood of the vipers protect this precious artifact. Times are changing in the world and evil eyes are set on taking the orb for their own malicious ideas. Heron knows there is something or some one watching and he can feel a presence that keeps pressing him like heavy air after a thunderstorm. Heron can sense a battle coming and must prepare for what he fears may come. There has already been unrest in the city of Thalmar and people are fearing an ancient evil has started to return to reclaim the land that was once theirs. Comments and criticism welcome. There will be more to this story coming.
  7. The lost city of Svardawn has been in ruins for centuries. A murky swamp has invaded sections of the city and some unsavory creatures now reside in the ruins. There is an unknown secret hidden within these ruins. There will be more to this story this is just a starting point.
  8. Love the color choices and the use of the banner from Star Wars. The windows are very detailed, I like the use of the HP wands. The snot base looks great for desert. Nice well and the use of bows for a fence is a nice idea. Tree looks great too.
  9. Nice castle. I like the towers and the use of the profile bricks on the outside. The gatehouse and drawbridge look good. Is the tan on the bottom of the castle supposed to represent a rock base? Lovely interiors with some nice details.
  10. That's a long time to have the Coming soon up for almost 3 months, I hope they come out in June. Things are changing all over so maybe the release date for the US has been moved to June.
  11. Lovely build. The rock work is superb and is highlighted by the stairway, the door way and the stone floor. The detailing in the walls is excellent too. Nice story and minifigs too.
  12. As said above the blue and white really catches your eye. I like all the little bits of color in the tower. The wooden wall and wooden parts of the tower have some nice color variation. The slanted road is such a great idea and really adds another layer to the build. The pine trees look great, especially with the thin trunks. The roofs with the vegetation on them is a nice touch. The figs are great and all the action in the build is a really nice to see. Great job.
  13. Very nice fort. I like the interiors and the sheer size of this. I also like that it is modular and comes apart making it nice for displaying and even playing with. Excellent looking figs too.
  14. I love the angled roof, looks great and the colors are a great choice. The greebling on the tower is excellent. The base is also very good, I like the color varieties and the use of plates and slopes.
  15. Very nice carts. I like the ale wagon and the hay cart. Very nice trees too.
  16. Yes it is. They even have the Monkie Kid sets on there.
  17. I get that these prices are high for Monkie Kid. But There is still great value sets even with the smaller star wars and even the $20-$30 sets in super heroes have had some great value recently. Most hobbies are expensive anyway, Lego has always been an expensive hobby with collecting, storing, and displaying your sets or MOc's. There are definitely some better detailed figs in the marvel line recently. I really like the Monkie King mech even though its $150.00 but it also has over 1,600 pieces and looks great for that price is really good. I guess what I'm trying to say is recently AFOL's have been saying they are willing to pay extra for really detailed sets and now lego is giving us some and people are still complaining about the price. Or Lego makes a more affordable model but people cry it doesn't have enough detail and they would pay extra for a better model so I don't know how lego would please everyone since it's never going to happen.
  18. The river looks great with the shading. The river embankment is excellent, the upper shelf of the embankment is very nice. I like the different vegetation throughout the build, especially the way you have the lush vegetation by the water and the dry vegetation in the desert part. The tree looks great with the whips around it, is that meant to be a vine around the tree? The camels carrying the loads is great too.
  19. Nice build. I like the bridge and the small pine tree. Although the fig does seem a little under dressed for the weather lol.
  20. This is beautiful. I love the wall, the detailing within the wall itself and the battlements look great especially with the dark gray accenting the battlements. The vine growing up the wall is a nice detail. I like all the brick built canopies, the different colors used really add a vibrant look to the scene. The sand green building is fantastic, I love the roof and the arch way. I like all the different vendors and their products they are selling, like the mushrooms, books, carrots, apples, etc. The addition of the green plant pieces in the ground area is a great detail. The white arch way is very nice with the gold accents and the trans clear colored pieces in the middle. Great use of animals and the figs to bring the build to life. Such a great build with so many details.
  21. In the US you can't get any of the figs except the generic heads and torso's. No monkie kid or red sun, no monkey king, and none of the villains are on B&P. Not a real good selection of figs at all. I'm hoping Ninjago is different and at least you can get the different skeletons, maybe the trolls or goblins too.
  22. Just curious how long have you been into lego?. I think a lot of the sets this and year and the past few years have been very detailed and at great price points. The new pirates idea set, a lot of the creator expert sets are great, Stranger things, many of the idea's sets all have great builds and price points. The new Ninjago sets look great and are quite detailed. Yeah some of the super heroes sets don't have detailed minifigs. Yes Lego is a business they are into making toys for kids and recently have made a larger effort making sets for AFOL's. I really don't see your complaint here this has always been the way lego has been. When I was a kid in the 1980's my parents couldn't afford those huge castle sets with 9-10 figs and a couple of horses or the really large city sets. The dynamic is still the same it has been, it's just grown with the inflation of the worlds economy. I guess it's all how you look at it but if your that angry why even buy lego?
  23. Nice landscaping, I like the two trees. Very nice rock work and plant coverage on the ground. The fallen log looks good. Your figs are very nice too.
  24. Very nice longboat. I like the dragon head. The wrapped up sail is a nice feature. I do agree that when using different flesh tones with minifigs the yellow does stand out but so does the flesh tones when you use them with a predominately yellow group of figures. I don't mind either but certain tones look better with certain torso's. You do have a very nice group of figs.
  25. Great tower. I like all the tiles and plates on the tower. The upper wooden part is excellent. Very nice railing and I like the use of the wooden round tiles to simulate wooden beams. The tiled roof is nice. I like the trees and plants around the tower, the trees have some nice diversity. I like the vine with the claw pieces, gives it some character.
