Lego Icons 10332 Medieval Town Square Discussion Thread
zoth33 replied to BrickJagger's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
I'm waiting for the forest stronghold and see what the price will be on that on BDP. I also started voting for some in series 4. I think the town square looks good, I also like the figure selection and the grey goat is nice. I also think there is a new door mold but it's hard to tell from the photos. I think I might add a farm to this set or some other small buildings and see what it looks like next to the lion knights castle. -

That's awesome. I also have 16 of the fright knights from the CMF. I just swapped out the grill helm for the great helm in silver looks much better and swapped out the heads with some of the ice zombie heads from Ninjago. So I'm trying to make a small army of the Fright knights and Bat lords. Right now I've got them in the old vampire castle from monster hunters but I will need something bigger because I have some other vampires too. -

Yeah exactly I think some people lose sight of that. I love making different figures and making new builds. I just went to the lego store the other day and the Pab wall had spruce trees and some other great leaf parts and wheels for carts I was like a kid in a candy store. I also picked up some more Bat lords and finally found a mushroom sprite from the CMF. -

Yeah I don't understand the whole we need more animals argument by some people if that really prevents you from buying a set is just weird to me. PAB and bricklink are great for getting parts and figs and animals. If I like a set I buy it. I remember people complaining about the Lion knights castle being to grey. If I need more of something I just go to pick a brick or bricklink and get what I need for my MOC. I'm planning a new MOC and need lots of pieces and parts so this would be a good set for parts and figs are nice and if the figs and shield end up on PAB that would be great to build upon this. I'm planning on starting to build the Viking village this weekend and plan on modding it and possibly expanding it as I have a decent number of vikings. I mean every PAB order I make I always get plants for landscaping and animals and always order some Black Falcons and Lion knights to boost my armies. It actually amazed me the other day when I counted how many Black Falcons I have now. It's a fun hobby that's why I do it and sets like this only give me more options so that's how I look at it. -

It was a prelim image. There was no way we were getting that many animals they have never given us that many in a set before. And I thought we would get a couple more figs but Obviously the budget got reduced hence what we see now. Yeah it could be better but here's the thing about lego you can actually make whatever you want by building things yourself. I used to take the sets I had as a kid and change them around to what I liked. I Still can do that now as an adult. If I don't like something in a set I can easily mod it or I can just make a village myself. -

Probably due to budget being cut down. We will probably never know for sure why. -

It's a very nice set. I'm like most on here I wish it had a few more figs and animals but oh well. Some nice new prints on torsos and the shield is great. The return of the wolfpack will be a welcome addition to my collection and hopefully the new torso's and shield will end up one PAB to be able to get more. The grey goat is great too. I like the buildings and that the one with the tower folds open. Definitely buying this one. I still have yet to build the viking village, probably going to start building it this weekend. It will be interesting to see how the viking village and this set look next to each other. -

Probably some stuff in the shop we can't see anything on the interiors so it will be interesting to see what's inside the buildings. -

The tax collector looks interesting and has a cape and has printed legs. The hooded fig is hard to tell the torso print. The buildings are look nice, I'm hoping there are future expansions of the village. Baker has a new white and red torso with red skirt. Boy has a new torso print. Blond haired lady seems to have a new torso print. Brunette haired lady doesn't seem to have a new print looks like the one green torso that is out now. Blacksmith looks new and there seems to be a lion knight soldier on the tower. That would be nice to get a wolfpack bandit. Some more animals would have been nice but I'm more about the build. I have plenty of animals I can populate the town square with. -

Yeah looks like 8 figs and a goat with maybe some smaller animals. Some very nice details and looks like new torso and leg prints. Not as many animals as the original photo still looks great. It's on Reddit too. -

The Snow White set leaked so hopefully we will see the MTS set soon. The Snow White set looks great can't wait to see better pics of the dwarves. I would like to see the mouse return to sets so we can get it on PAB at some point. -

There's white chickens on PAB. At the Walmart near me they have the sonic polybag. I didn't see the monkie kid one. I hope they get some that's a nice way to get some good pieces. -
Nice scene. Those cups from HP are so useful. The Duplo sheep is just funny. Nice job.

I like your design for the faeries I'm guessing with the lantern piece. The dreamling bodies used for elves here is a nice idea. The building looks great with all the tree pieces and roof looks fantastic. Really fun build you have here.
-
I like the design of the cart and colors used work well together. The gold accents are nice. The base has some nice rock work and landscaping.
-
I really like the steep roofs in this build. The texture of the stone looks great. Those green grooved tile pieces give the building a unique look. The archway in the door is nicely designed.
-
This trading post is very busy despite being small. The amount of details packed in here is impressive. The stables, all the animals, goats on a cart just wonderful. I like the monkey chasing the chicken. I like the use of the printed tiles throughout the build to give some contrast. Nice build.

Really fun build here. I like the design of the building. The interior has some nice details with the shelves and crates filled with goods. I like all the vendors outside with different colored canopies. I like that you added a few trees for some nice contrast. Also all the figs look great and it seems like a lively build with all the animals and figs.
