  1. Yeah like I said we will see what happens with it I hope there is more than large sets and those ugly brickheadz. It would be nice to see Gondor at some point. I actually can't wait for War of the Rohirrim coming out later this year would be cool if we got sets from that movie but I don't know if they have a deal on that property.
  2. Lego can still make smaller sets and label it 18+ it doesn't have to be a kids set. Only time will tell and we will see what happens. Yeah we don't know what the agreement is. But it seems they have put some effort back into the theme and some people have hinted at other things coming so we will see over the next several months what happens with this theme.
  3. I also hope they do something other than AC right now. If they do do fortnite it would probably have some nice variety of fig parts.
  4. If they made Rivendell then they probably can make other sets. I don't know the specifics obviously but if they made that set and the brickheads why would they exclude other smaller sets it doesn't make any sense. I don't think they have the rights to the books either probably just the movies as the Rivendell set seems to be inspired from.
  5. What does that first part mean? All I'm saying is there that I thought lego would do other things first. I even admitted I didn't know how big Animal crossing is.
  6. All my walmart had was the smaller codes. so far still haven't gotten a Basil yet. Hopefully this week I can find some.
  7. Usually they have the rights to certain properties like the movies, book, etc. which is obviously what they have the rights to based on the sets so far. I know there are parameters but they seem to have the rights to the movies so what I'm saying is there is a lot of things they can make.
  8. Considering looney tunes has been around since 1930, the Muppets in 1955, and the Simpsons 1989. Yes they have been around a long time and have had a long shelf life with a lot of products sold. Personally never heard of Animal Crossing till recently, I didn't know it was that big. I just think Mario or other Nintendo properties like Zelda would be a better choice. But I could see Animal crossing essentially be the second coming of Fabuland for lego. I just didn't reallize Animal crossing was that big. Then again it's not really in my wheel house as far as games go.
  9. Lego has the license obviously so this wouldn't be a legal issue for them. They have the rights to the movies as we have Rivendell and Barad Dur coming plus all the brickheads. This won't be a legal issue, it's a matter of what lego wants to do with the theme themselves.
  10. Once again The Simpsons is a huge property with a big fan base and a large number of collectibles sold already.
  11. Nice most of those have images. I don't remember the Guy from dreamzzz with the eyepatch and grey beard. Also the guy form ninjago I forgot his name with the visor both i don't remember seeing.
  12. They don't even know if this theme will sell well. The theme came out over a decade before so Lego knew it was an established well selling theme. We have no idea how well this will do and Lego has never introduced a new theme and made a CMF based off it immediately without any sales data. It just doesn't make any sense to do that theme without and data on sales or popularity.
  13. Which heads did you end up getting that you couldn't see the pictures?
  14. The theme just popped up and is not an established IP like HP, STar wars, and Marvel/DC. We don't even know how long Animal Crossing will last.
  15. No way the are doing animal crossing. I would say Mario before animal crossing. Fortnite is a possibility.
  16. Also now getting a red panda and the old Tiger is coming back to the city sets. Some great new animals to populate our builds. There should be some more animals in the jungle sets but no more info yet.
  17. Considering the HP set comes out in the summer it would probably be the other way around or maybe it will be a completely different color as the Beauxbatons ones are white and the horse for MTS might be brown, tan or grey.
  18. Red panda is great can't wait to see it. The Red panda is one of my sons favorite animals. Great to get the tiger too as I missed out the last time.
  19. I think he's just saying making the horse or lion in that color that could be also used as a statue. Which would be easy as a there are grey horses.
  20. The total sets from last year I think Star wars and HP combined to make up 10% of 2023 total sets. That doesn't seem to be their target audience and I don't know why so many people say this kind of stuff without no proof. At any rate Lego has made a lot more sets for AFOLS over the last several years. I don't think you know how licensing works. Eventually someone will see what they are doing and bury them in legal battles.
  21. All that I've heard so far is an Adult gorilla in a large set it didn't say if the baby was in the same set. We've already had the Lion and Elephant
  22. Very nice build. I really like the rockwork, it looks wonderful especially the part on the right side with the water on the rocks. The texturing of the wall is nicely done. The figs also look great. I wouldn't have to look at the title to know this was an Avalonian build great work.
  23. Looks like we are getting Gorilla's in the city sets. Can't wait to see what other animals or birds we get. Ninjago wave for summer has another large dragon set.
  24. There is an adult Gorilla coming in one of the sets
  25. great work! I like the wall texture and the little area's that have been weathered. The little area with the water and plants looks great and is a nice touch. The figs and cart look very nice here.
