  1. I was in agreement with you. I was just saying it's highly unlikely because of Ninjago. I agree here also it would be nice to get other settings like middle eastern, asian, south american and african sets. This would be a nice change of pace something like the mayans or inca's would be nice. Even some buildings in a Turkish style or something from the persian empire would be interesting.
  2. I don't have the MTS set yet. The LKC is great and the 3in1 castle does look good. I have the Viking village but it's not built yet. I'm planning on getting the DnD set tomorrow. I am waiting to get the MTS and excited to see what Barad Dur looks like. I also have the blacksmith that looks nice with all the other castle sets. I'm interested in seeing how the Viking Village and the MTS sets look together.
  3. Yeah Stores usually get around 10 sets to start out with my local store is first come first serve. So hopefully when I stop by after work tomorrow there is one left.
  4. It would be nice to see but with Ninjago around it's highly unlikely. It would be nice to get some Ninja outfits that aren't Ninjago. Also some Samurai would be great.
  5. It's been on Idea's for awhile. Maybe try BDP for series 5 is coming up for entries to start soon.
  6. Lego PAB and bricklink are easy ways to get different heads and minifigure parts. Heads are pretty cheap you can get a nice selection of different faces and colors.
  7. There is a renaissance fair set in idea's I'm not sure if it's at 10,000 yet but it is a nice looking set.
  8. Nerd of the rings is pretty knowledgeable about LOTR stuff, the licensing for the LOTR is petty complicated because of the Tolkien estate but hopefully we will see some more LOTR sets coming in the future and maybe by the end of the summer we will have more concrete knowledge of sets from the original trilogy or sets that tie into War of the Rohirrim. I hope that these rumors are true and I also think that Barad Dur is still coming in June. It will be nice to see some new LOTR sets and places we haven't seen in lego form yet like Bree, Gondor, other parts of the shire, etc.
  9. Amazon only had rights to the appendices. They don't have rights to the Silmarillion or much of the second age. Also merchandising for the films and the books are different properties. The films are through WB. The Tolkien estate decides what and who they give out rights to. The rights for merchandising the books is different from WB. Also Embracer bought the rights to make video games and possibly make movies so far there had been no mention if they would do anything with toys or figures.
  10. Yeah but we don't know if lego has the rights to the War of the Rohirrim. We know they have the rights to the Hobbit/LotR but that's all we know so if anything it will be more likely sets based off of those movies.
  11. The MMV was $100 that is not 1/3 of $230. That being said. I think the Town Square looks great will be picking it up at some point but I think I'm buying the DnD set or Barad Dur first.
  12. The red panda in real life looks like a big stuffed animal to be fair. @williejm the Gorilla's front arms seem to be articulated. You can see the separation in the shoulder. The Gorilla's look great. Can't wait to see all of these on PAB.
  13. the croc looks to be sand green or possibly olive green.
  14. The bird to me looks like a sparrow. There are several species with those type of markings on the head. Also red/pink eyes on all white animals means its an albino so something like that could be accurate but I get what your saying with the black rat. We definitely need more colors of that bird piece and maybe something like black and orange coloring for a Baltimore oriole, or black and yellow for a goldfinch etc.
  15. Yes there are so many new molds and some nice recolors on the bird, rat and dog. There are some nice new capes too. All the prints are great and nice to see that there is no flesh tones on the torso's making for great customization. That new daggar and axe are great too. Ah yes. That dragon looks great to me. The one from Kingdoms was ok but this one is much better in my opinion
  16. I think the dragon looks fine. It was instantly recognizable to me, also it's a Dragonborn holding it. The Dragonborn is also supposed to be a Paladin.
  17. That's a dragon head on the shield. There seems to be 16 new molds and some great prints. There is a new daggar that the Githyanki is holding. That new small dragon piece is insane.
  18. All those look great. Looks like 16 new molds. That's crazy if it's true. Getting multiple of all of these.
  19. Yeah finally that helm in something other than gold and black. I really like the set and like all the figs and the dragon looks great.
  20. No I don't believe so there have been short chains before like that. I believe that ball has a hole at the bottom and the stud from the chain is where the ball fits onto.
  21. It seems to be that way and the upcoming CMF in September will be that way also. This will make for an insane amount of customization of figs. All the prints and printed legs look great. I actually can't wait to get this set on the 1st.
  22. I actually like the set. I don't agree with your statement. I feel completely justified in getting this set I like the dragon and all the brick built creatures. I like the design and the layout of the set. I agree that it is downsized and the dark red roof did look better but I still think it's a great set that has charm and a story to tell.
  23. This was shown on lego leaks on IG awhile ago. I believe it has a horse on it if I'm not mistaken. That's the halfling from the middle of the DnD set
  24. lego.com has a countdown. It will be revealed in a a little under 7 days from now
  25. Does anyone think those doors from the mario sets would be great for the front gates of a Minis tirith set?
