  1. This is really eye catching. The bell tower is great with the large horn pieces on top. The way you used the white 1x2 tile pieces really is stunning and works well with the nougat and tan colors of the building. The gold trimming around the top of building is nice, I like the use of those Monkie Kid pieces. Great build all around.
  2. Yes Just really high price for some reason unless there are a lot more pieces than it looks like. It's a really great design.
  3. The march Ninjago wave has some great sets and figs. There is some nice pieces in the sets too with a gold climbing hook and a large dish piece that used for a moon. There also is a new armor piece. There is also a new dual molded sword. The temple looks great just a terrible price.
  4. Dojo looks great. So does the temple but 120 is too much for that set. Probably will pick up Ryu and the Dojo. I'm not into the mechs or vehicles that much unless there are great figs in the set.
  5. I like the use of tiles and beams here to create a nice looking affect. I also like the way you used different colors for different types of wood. The stone base looks great. The snow looks very natural throughout the build. Great job on this.
  6. That's exactly what I thought. I mean what is going on I don't know any kids that are into Pharrell's Music. They don't even play his music at my youngest sons dances.
  7. Fun story and build. I like the gold detailing around the build. I like all the little details like the amulet, crown, other fabrics, flowers, etc. Are the pieces at the top of the wall and bottom of the wall on the right printed? Also nice use of the Agatha body and NInjago for dresses.
  8. Exactly I don't think Nicknack116 was trying to offend or troll anyone. He was speaking in generalizations. Just like more men buy comic books and buy collectibles. My boys when they were younger and still are into heavy metal, My oldest is into hip hop too. But kids like the music they like and are sometimes influenced by their peers. And yes girls tend to like more pop and hip hop music. Boys don't tend to like musicals. That being said we have no idea what these themes will be but it is interesting to see what people think they will be. When the posts first came out people were all on western for Buffalo and they obviously didn't read the posts because it said that they were new themes and based on tv/movies. The Elves theme had some great sets and some nice dragons and nice new pieces so I hope one of them is something along those lines.
  9. I have 3 from the dream village set which is nice little set with some fun details. But definitely need some more of the dreamling bodies in all 3 colors, getting some in my next PAB order. I agree about having some with prints I"m planning on using the little green ones for some small forest sprites. I have a bunch of those heads from Hidden side too. Good luck on Brickscalibur also.
  10. The tree designs look great especially with the large claw pieces. The snow looks really good and I like the icicles around the build. The interior of the cave looks great with those trans blue pieces and the trans pink plants. The figs look great too. I really need to pick up a bunch of those bodies from the Dreamzzz line they are going to be so useful for custom figs.
  11. Yeah It's probably something we are not familiar with. Hell I never heard of Animal Crossing. It's just not my thing. Also my kids are older now 18 and 13, so they are basically into video games like Palworld, fortnite, Elden ring, Madden, Minecraft, Rocket league, etc. Their tastes in movies and series are usually comic book stuff, fantasy, star wars or things like the walking dead, some anime, action shows and movies, godzilla and others. So if it's some kids stuff I probably won't know what it is. My youngest is still into Ninjago and Lego. I don't even know what new kid shows are out there now.
  12. The leakers have been saying they are both new themes and lego did do Avatar awhile ago so it's probably not ATLA. It's also been said that both are from a movie or series.
  13. Ok cool. I couldn't tell what color it was. I am picking the set up for the parts and the owls. Ok thanks. I like the color.
  14. Is it dark red or reddish-brown? I can't tell.
  15. Yeah like I said we will see what happens with it I hope there is more than large sets and those ugly brickheadz. It would be nice to see Gondor at some point. I actually can't wait for War of the Rohirrim coming out later this year would be cool if we got sets from that movie but I don't know if they have a deal on that property.
  16. Lego can still make smaller sets and label it 18+ it doesn't have to be a kids set. Only time will tell and we will see what happens. Yeah we don't know what the agreement is. But it seems they have put some effort back into the theme and some people have hinted at other things coming so we will see over the next several months what happens with this theme.
  17. I also hope they do something other than AC right now. If they do do fortnite it would probably have some nice variety of fig parts.
  18. If they made Rivendell then they probably can make other sets. I don't know the specifics obviously but if they made that set and the brickheads why would they exclude other smaller sets it doesn't make any sense. I don't think they have the rights to the books either probably just the movies as the Rivendell set seems to be inspired from.
  19. What does that first part mean? All I'm saying is there that I thought lego would do other things first. I even admitted I didn't know how big Animal crossing is.
  20. All my walmart had was the smaller codes. so far still haven't gotten a Basil yet. Hopefully this week I can find some.
  21. Usually they have the rights to certain properties like the movies, book, etc. which is obviously what they have the rights to based on the sets so far. I know there are parameters but they seem to have the rights to the movies so what I'm saying is there is a lot of things they can make.
  22. Considering looney tunes has been around since 1930, the Muppets in 1955, and the Simpsons 1989. Yes they have been around a long time and have had a long shelf life with a lot of products sold. Personally never heard of Animal Crossing till recently, I didn't know it was that big. I just think Mario or other Nintendo properties like Zelda would be a better choice. But I could see Animal crossing essentially be the second coming of Fabuland for lego. I just didn't reallize Animal crossing was that big. Then again it's not really in my wheel house as far as games go.
  23. Lego has the license obviously so this wouldn't be a legal issue for them. They have the rights to the movies as we have Rivendell and Barad Dur coming plus all the brickheads. This won't be a legal issue, it's a matter of what lego wants to do with the theme themselves.
  24. Once again The Simpsons is a huge property with a big fan base and a large number of collectibles sold already.
  25. Nice most of those have images. I don't remember the Guy from dreamzzz with the eyepatch and grey beard. Also the guy form ninjago I forgot his name with the visor both i don't remember seeing.
