21348 Lego Ideas Dungeons & Dragons and D&D CMF
zoth33 replied to Black Falcon's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
Way better than Animal crossing man. I will take it. We are getting 5 fortnite sets though. Plus no skin tones on the torso's is excellent and very useful. They obviously want to use this license and looks like they are putting it to good use.- 685 replies

Why not. And all the better for us. I'm getting all of these. This year is insane so far. Can't wait to get extras and customize figs the possibilities will be great. I'm thinking they will do more if they didn't do Drizzt. But that's me just hoping really.- 685 replies

Lego Licensed Parts available from Bricks & Pieces
zoth33 replied to LegoPercyJ's topic in LEGO Licensed
Dark pearl grey viking helmet is the old style helmet. -
I can't see them being art sets at all. I highly doubt they are display sets either. Since there are 2 parts and we are getting 4 sets this year I'm pretty sure these will be play-sets. And probably more sets next year for the second part.

Some great parts usage here. The elves theme had some great parts. These figs look great and some nice side builds and staffs to go with them. Some really nice combinations of colors and uses of torsos from different themes to create these. I use those hairpieces and hoods for my Moon Elves and other elf factions.

Lego Icons 10332 Medieval Town Square Discussion Thread
zoth33 replied to BrickJagger's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
If the set sells well, we could see more. Or they could have more in the pipeline already. It's really anyones guess at this point. The 90th anniversary sold well as did the blacksmith and the 3in1 castle. But that doesn't mean we will keep getting sets either. All we can hope for is more sets and leaks that tell us we are getting sets. -
I think he means in the Barad Dur set itself.

Everything Disney has done lately has been a disaster. They have ruined Star Wars and Marvel. The Indiana Jones Dial of Destiny was a failure. And Amazon is currently ruining the Wheel of Time and Tolkien. I'm hoping The War of the Rohirrim is good. All that said I just hope that Barad Dur comes with some good figs.

It depends on the licensing agreement and what's in the contract. If the contract says only 1 set then this would be it. If they agreed to possibly make more if this sells well then we will have to wait quite awhile to see if they will make more.- 685 replies

I don't know but the DnD set got a Beholder, displacer beast, and Owlbear. So they could upgrade it from the prelim photo that we saw. In the movie they were dragon sized so maybe a brick built one but probably not a molded creature. That Moc is a possibility as they have all those pieces but seems a little small.

Yes that Horntail. I guess we will have to wait and see with better pics. Yes I know the Horntail is a Wyvern I'm just saying it's one of my favorite dragons from Lego. I'm just using it as a reference and I still think it has back legs but when we get better pics we will see. Exactly and it's licensed. It's under 10 cents per piece and I'm sure it has some nice prints and printed pieces.- 685 replies

Yeah I'm not saying it's the best looking dragon. I'm saying of a Wyvern that size the DnD one looks nothing like the Ninjago one and they would do it in a similar style. My favorite Lego Dragons are the Ninjago Skeleton one and the brick built Hungarian Horntail from HP.- 685 replies

This one here and The dragon in the DnD set looks nothing akin to this. Yeah we just can't see the back legs. I like the dragon looks great to me. I'm curious about the head, hopefully we will get better pics soon. How is it massively overpriced? Over 3700 pieces, it's licensed, A large dragon, 6 figs, a brick built, beholder, displacer beast, and owlbear and mushroom people for $360 seems pretty good to me. Look at some of Monkie kid sets or city sets.- 685 replies

Looks like a female fig with a hairpiece to me I don't know I have the red wyvern from Ninjago and it doesn't look like that at all. I'm looking at it and that chest has the legs right off of it. Where as the Ninjago wyvern the legs are further back. Like I said if this is a Wyvern it is very poorly designed. I'm still convinced there are back legs.- 685 replies

I get it i thought there would be a few more animals too. But I in no way thought we were getting the 15 plus animals that were in the original photo.

Yeah people are funny. And look at the leaked image of the DnD set which in my opinion has major upgrades like an Owlbear, Displacer beast, Beholder, the Dragon looks better in my opinion and there are even mushroom people underneath the bridge. Also the figs look great from what I can see.

To me it looks like there are legs on the back side hidden by the tower and wings. If it is a wyvern the legs are way to forward for that and it looks weird for a wyvern.- 685 replies

Yeah 6 figs that I can see 2 hooded ones, the female fig on the bridge, the dragon born in the door, The druid? in the front, and the elf in the middle. A great selection of figs and brick built creatures a beholder, displacer beast, and owlbear. The Dragon is great I like it better than the original.- 685 replies

The back legs go behind the tower. Which MInifig the one on the tower has what looks like the star wars hood. The one on the bridge is a female fig with what looks like new hairpiece.- 685 replies

I don't see the goblin/orc hair in white with pointy ears at all. There is also a female fig on the bridge. On IG or reddit- 685 replies

Yeah the DnD set looks great. That's definitely a day one buy the set looks awesome and the dragon, owlbear and beholder all look great. Can't wait to see better pictures. -
Yeah I wish it had a few more animals but I still think it's a great set. Definitely getting one. I mean the Viking village was light on animals too. I've got plenty of animals if I need to put some in the set I will. Just hoping the Goat and shield from that set end up on PAB along with all the new torso's from that set. Can't wait to see photos of the city sets especially the red panda and gorilla.

LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 25. Rumors and discussion
zoth33 replied to Robert8's topic in Special LEGO Themes
I've had some luck with weighing them almost all of the ones i've encountered have had the small codes. Basil and the Goatherd are similar in weights so for me it's a win win as I am a fantasy/castle guy. I was only able to find One Mushroom sprite so far, I would like to get a couple more. I have 5 batlords, 2 barbarians, 13 goatherds. My youngest also got a batlord and goatherd. I really like the Dreamzzz sword from the Barbarian. I have the 2 versions from Dreamzzz also it's a very nice piece. Trying to build a Fright Knight army with the Knight cmf too of which I have 16 of them but I've switched out the head as I didn't like the look of it.- 574 replies

The heads are double sided and one side has a metal mask on it like what you are describing and some of the figs have the star wars hood in dark blue. So I think those figs would work for something like that. I would have to try the head out on one of the rogues from the cmf or when the Town Square comes out try it on the new wolfpack guy in that set. -
You know you can get all the animals on PAB. Some are retired now unless they show up again in other sets like the sheep. But the great white is on there, Orca, bears, seals, cows, horses etc. So you don't have to buy the large sets if you just want the animals.
